I rarely write business reviews, but this company absolutely deserves this review. I help care for an elderly couple here in Poway (90+ year olds, one of whom has complex medical care needs and has been in a medically fragile state for the past month). This couple has been having intermittent problems with the AC in their home over the past month.  We've had a different HVAC company out several times to try and resolve the issues and to try to prepare the home for the summer heat, and I do think the first company did the best it could, but the preparation wasn't enough and/or the timing of the heat wave wasn't right. I reached out to Jojo of Peace & Comfort Heating and Air on Wednesday when the AC issue popped up again because the first HVAC company we were working with couldn't send anyone out for a couple of days.  I explained to Jojo the urgency of the situation on the medical side of things while I also kept in mind that local HVAC companies were probably extremely busy due to the heat wave.  The other caregivers and I had backup plans to take this couple to dedicated cool zones, or, of course, the hospital for signs of dehydration that we could not resolve by ourselves, but I was hoping to avoid that option as we would have had to bring medical supplies with us to the library, a designated cool zone here in Poway.  And nobody wants to end up in the hospital. Jojo sent one of his employees, Bren, out within a couple of hours for diagnostic service, then recommendations were made.   Jojo & Bren then went out of their way to install a new furnace/blower the following day.  They also found a couple of points in the attic where ventilation ducts had become disconnected (likely an old issue for that home) and fixed that as well.   I, the 7 other caregivers I lead for this family, the out-of-state family members, and of course, the elderly couple themselves are incredibly grateful to Jojo and Bren for how they jumped in to help us, and we cannot recommend them enough!
