I hardly use the AC except during the hot summer months and during the 2024 heat wave, my AC wasn't working even though I can hear it running. I asked around for HVAC companies to look at my AC and one recommended refilling the freon that leaked. After a 100 or so bucks, it only lasted a couple of days. I didn't dare go back and started looking again. Alex and his team came through and thoroughly checked my system. They not only went outside and checked the unit but went into the attic and checked the tubing. Because my unit was from when the place was built a couple decades ago and the heat wave it was time for a replacement. They recommended me a size, scope of work, and the time to replace. They completed it faster than expected and it was only two days before I had working air conditioning again. The price was way better than other estimates I received and the quality of work was great. One of the things that I never thought about was the master bedroom furthest from the AC never worked. The tubes never reached that area originally. Now it's great and I haven't had any issues the past two years. HVAC Experts was one of the best experiences I have had with a contractor and home improvement! I was able to get a quote based on some basic information I gave to Alex which was to be verified onsite if I moved forward. I really did like that since I am a very busy person. The price was very competitive but as we all know that is only one component, its all about the quality of the product and installation. I was able to schedule the installation for a day and time that worked for me and on the day of installation my doorbell rang promptly at 8am. I did notice them parked outside early but I did appreciate them waiting to start exactly as promised. The initial crew were very nice and got to work right away then the company labeled van showed up with my new unit. Alex eventually showed up and did a walk through, I really appreciated him taking off his shoes which shows respect and making sure I was comfortable with the process. He also was very patient with the numerous questions I had and I also did a last minute upgrade to a Nest thermostat which he was able to run out and grab for me with no problem! Glad I did that we love the technology is brings. The removal of the old unit and the install of the new unit with this 4 man crew only took 3 hours and at the end the crew completely cleaned the area and Alex did a final walkthrough making sure I understood how to use the new HVAC unit and thermostat. He also tested the heat and cold and took temperature checks to make sure the output was as expected. We settled on the bill and I got an immediate receipt via email with the details. Top to bottom was very impressed with HVAC Experts a newer company but you can tell they have many years of industry experience! I am now enjoying a brand new air conditioning unit and it's working great! Replaced a 25 year old one so it's so much cooler and quieter and hopefully more efficient! Use this company. Alex is super responsive by text or phone. He was able to come out the next day to look at a dead furnace and spent a couple hours problem solving before advising to go ahead and replace the whole unit. I'm an out of town landlord, and HVAC Experts made the whole process super easy. He sent me photos when they finished, and my tenants texted me that they were impressed with how clean they kept everything and that they appreciated being taught how the whole new system works. Found out my AC wasn't blowing cold air again! Called Alex and his crew and they came out and fixed everything within two days! He was fair and I felt the prices were reasonable. He was able to determine where the refrigerant leak was in my unit and replaced it for a good price. I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future. They also offer a subscription where they come out and do their inspections and maintenance for the hot and cold seasons. This company/Alex saved my life. It has been super hot.I recently refilled my system with another company, but my system was completely low again. Alex reviewed and talked me into doing a leak check. I thought for sure there was a leak on my coil, which would need to be replaced. During his leak check, he heard the whistling under my home. He verified the diagnosis of a prior HVAC tech at no cost and then came in to fix the furnace and complete the thermostat installation with a new power source wire at a reasonable cost. I am so thankful for finding this company on Yelp and he came to our home on Friday morning after just phoning him within the hour. Amazing, truly amazing he was able to locate the leak in our air handler which was very hard to detect. He has a very professional sniffer I believe that is what you call it and was able to assist us immediately and get us up and running quickly as we order a new evaporator coil. Little did I know a clogged upstairs bathroom sink caused condensation from my A/C to use my emergency drainage which was pouring out like rain out my PVC pipe from the second floor.
