UPDATE: Since this repairman chose to write falsehoods and untruths in his reply, I decided to add screenshots of our text exchange . Imagine... ANY repairman texting his customer and saying, "You're out of line" after the customer simply informs him his four visits over the course of 12 months haven't fixed anything. This one did. Imagine... ANY repairman telling his customer to adjust their "attitude". This one did. The proof is in the screen shots I've included here. Look... and decide for yourself. --------------------------------------------------------- Four visits necessary over the course of one year... and even then he never fixed it adequately. EACH TIME he came, he did something slightly different (added oil to fan bushing, changed condenser, added coolant to the system... and the system still  never truly operated adequately. Most egregiously, never once during any of his four visits did he enter my home to see one way or the other if his "fixes" resolved the problem. He didn't care. He, along with all other AC companies in San Diego, has more business than he can handle. Why should he care whether he ACTUALLY fixes a system? There are people waiting in line for his services. This last time I texted him and stated, "After four visits over the course of 12 months you still haven't fixed my home AC system. I can't afford another $100+ visit where nothing gets fixed. I'm gonna have to get someone else to fix it. His curt, revealing reply: "Please do". That's my story. You decide whether this guy is right for you. read more

Brr it got cold and all of a sudden our furnace was just blowing cold. As a small business owner I tend to search out other small business owners. I found Rob at AC Plus through a recommendation from our neighborhood Facebook page. I texted him at 7:30 at night just to see if he had some availability to come out in the coming week. Rob responded right away. He told me to unplug the furnace for 30 seconds and change the air filter. I changed the filter then grabbed the ladder and hopped up into the attic. Rob is Awesome! We had an issue last year with our AC, where it was running, but the air wasn't cool and you could just tell the outside unit sounded different. Rob came quickly, then he figured out the problem and replaced the broken part right away. Then, as the weather was getting hot this year and we started using the AC again, we could just tell it was not right. Tried to support a small family business during these tough times. My air conditioner broke on Wednesday, during the 100 degree heat wave. Robert texted back that he could come over any time from Thursday through Saturday, but could not tell me when he would "squeeze me in". Did not reply to any of my other texts or answer the phone through Friday evening. Thanks for nothing, he could have just said I am too busy...I finally called another company Friday evening, who promptly came over and fixed the issue in about 20 minutes. These guys are the best!!! They put in our AC unti 10 years ago and I run it almost every day, works perfectly. Prices cant be beat. They are so nice and professional. If you dont want to get ripped off go with them. My furnace broke a few days ago and I called around for some pricing. 2 other legitimate companies that are on yelp told me I needed a new furnace and it would be around $2500.00. They said the other option was to repair the blower motor for $800.00 but it would probably break soon. I was pretty upset not expecting it to be that high. I called another company in San Diego and got a shocker of price. So I called Rob at AC Plus. He had helped me out when my AC stopped working last year. Rob added a new 5 ton unit to our newly purchased home, piggybacking on the existing ducting. We had him install a new furnace at the same time. I trusted Rob enough to have him work on the home as soon as we closed on it, and before we moved in. He and his crew did a great job. Everything was completed on budget and on schedule. When we arrived to move into our new home we had a nice new AC system. The crew cleaned up all their work...no muss, no fuss. Rob even did a few extra things that were not in his quote, and he thoughtfully extended the drip line from the expansion coil away from our wall/foundation. Nice touch.
