Met TO Bestie here for dinner last night - a Wednesday - we had a great time! Highly suggest making a reservation since this place was packed, even for a mid-week evening! We sat in the bar section which is 18+ only - my only negative about this is the chairs used for the high tables on the bar side... extremely hard on the backside if you're going to be there for a while, and difficult to climb on for us two 5'-3 ladies. We started with the fried mozzarella as an app - delicious! Served with a tasty marinara sauce and has great cheese pull. It does get cold fast, so don't let it sit too long. She had a pepperoni pizza as main course and I had the beef tartare - we loved it! The beef tartare is mixed with a truffle aioli and delicious. Side salad was very fresh and the fries were crispy and seasoned just right. I loved their margaritas! Just the right taste and just strong enough! Lastly I must mention our waitress (young woman with long brown curly hair). I think she was the only server for the bar side, and she was *excellent*. Friendly but not in a fake way, attentive but not overbearing, AND after I ordered the beef tartare, she warned me that it's usually mixed with olives - would I like to replace them with capers? Erm, YES! Thank god she mentioned it because I would not have been able to eat it at all otherwise - I'm disgusted of olives. I will definitely be back! read more

Industrial is a modern Italian restaurant specialize in pizza. It's cooked into a big oven, unsure if it's wood or gaz. I only tried the pizza here. Carnivorous pizza which has pepperoni, bacon, steak and basil if my memory serves right. It was good. Pizza could have just a bit more sauce to my liking cause I'm a sauce kind of guy but it was good. All the ingredients I tasted were fresh. The basil explode with flavor when you crunch it in your mouth, the pepperoni are cut perfectly and well cooked. The pizza is kind of napolitain style. Smile thin suggy dought with crunchy yet soft crust on the outside. The service is ok. I never came when it's busy so I can't judge but I do hope it's better when it's busy. I was in with 5 tables. I come almost every single week, amazing food, the waiters are good, rarely have a bad experience.

Pastas and pizzas were very tasty. We had a big group and no complaints. Service was also very good.

Amazing experience here! They have a nice small patio perfect for this summer. We ordered red sangria, very generous pitcher for a price of $12 each (for 2 people). It was plenty! We got the mozzarella sticks which were crispy and delicious. Please get this pasta - it was sooo good! Tagliatelle with mushroom and wine butter sauce, super tasty! Went here for a bday dinner with the fam. First impression is that this place is pretty huge and it has an open kitchen. You can see the chefs prepping everything which is pretty cool. The pizzas are cooked in a wood burning oven, so that's the first sign of its potential. The pizza came with big scissors to cut it which was pretty cool & efficient. It was flavourful and the dough was nicely soft and warm. You can taste the difference when everything is freshly made and this was no exception. This place has a good atmosphere even tho it's a bit louder than average and seemed like a popular bday dinner spot. Overall I'll definitely come back here. read more

Been here a few times and really enjoyed their pizzas. The spicy soppressata pizza is my kind of vibe. Italian style pizza, big on flavor and doesn't stack up on a bunch of toppings like most North American pizzas. Crust is thin and reasonably well spread out. Price for the pizza is a little higher than expected but still holds a lot of value. I love this location. The resto is beautiful with extremely high ceilings and a rustic feel. It's fancy without looking pretentious. Huge wood over dominates the area. Decorations and beautiful to look at. This could be a real nice date place. Service was good on all my visits. Not overly friendly and something they can work on but the orders were taken quickly and the food was served in a timely way (less than 15). I'm sure if they're rushed this may change but overall for me this was a positive experience. Would totally come back and again if they maintain this experience. read more

The food and the service was flawless. Unfortunately, they charged me (and my sister, who asked for a separated bill) 3$ for "taxe incluse" When we asked the waitress, she didn't know so she went to ask someone else. She told us it was the milk we ordered for our kids (we ordered kids meal, which has a drink - milk or juice - included) When asked on their Messenger page, at first they said it was a glitch, then and extre, then a split item. It's clearly a way to the restaurant to get 3 bucks on EACH bill, or making the customers pay for theit employee's health insurance. Shame in you!! This restaurant just opened two weeks ago, I had gone to the Galleries Anjou branch, which I really enjoyed. The one in Carrefour Laval, is huge, it even has a second floor which I think its for private gatherings. The menu differed a bit from the one in d'anjou. For appetizer I ordered the grilled octopus, which was excellent, it was served on a bed of white bean purée, topped with shallots, celery and red kidney beans, it was excellent, its not meant to be shared in my opinion. As for our main course we had marguerita pizza and lamb chops. It was good but both dishes lacked salt and pepper, it wasn't seasoned properly at all. We had to ask for a salt and pepper shaker. For dessert we shared à tiramisu, which was excellent but again like the octopus it isn't meant to be shared. Prices is reasonable, the ambiance is good but very noisy, they had a dj which didn't help the noise pollution. A few things bothered me, Montreal and Laval has some great restaurants, but what makes a restaurant 5 star in my opinion is attention to detail. As compared to the Anjou branch they have some work that still needs to be done. First of all your staff should be able to explain the menu and dishes and give proper advice. Also there was no spicy oil, salt pepper on the table. Food was lacking seasoning. No one brought us water and our glasses were empty throughout the service. Just because someone order alcohol doesn't mean you should not bring them water like you do for other tables. Service was a bit slow but since they are new its understandable. All in all a strong 4 star, needs some adjustments but im sure with time they will step it up. read more

Had a chance to visit and test out Industria's new location in Laval today with my fellow MTL yelp foodie Jason M. Tested the calabrese wood fired pizza. Tomato sauce, fresh mozzarella, spicy sopressata and fresh basil. Pizza surprised me how damm good it was. Light fluffy and crispy. Perfect medley of crisp, light tomato and cured meat. Plus their hot peppers in oil was amazing! Definitely a return back kind of place. Great pizza! Plus the big scissors to cut the za was a nice touch! The restaurant is a very open air spacious type of feel. In the front is a bar against he window. In the back of the restaurant is a huge heart wood fired oven. Pizzas came out quick and efficiently. Definitely need to head back! read more

I truly enjoyed my experience there. From the food quality and their service. The decor was modern and very well lit with its spacious windows at the bar. Appetizer: The calamari was tasty but there was too much crunch to it. I tasted more of the corn flour than the calamari itself. I wouldn't order it again. 6/10 Pasta: On the other hand, I was impressed by their pasta. We had the mushroom tagliatelle. Love the earthy mushroom and it's truffle oil sauce. The mushroom was a great substitute for meat. The arugula helps cut out the oily taste. The chew of the pasta was so good. I think they make them own fresh pasta there. 10/10 for this dish if you add their hot antipasto sauce. Pizza: Cappriciosa I loved the wood oven bake pizza. Their ingredients are simple and surprisingly light. You don't feel heavy after eating it. I'm sure all their pizzas are delicious. Our has olives toppings, artichoke, mozzarella, basil and prosciutto de cotto (ham). 9/10 for this dish. Overall experience 9/10: It's the first time where I enjoy both of their specialties. Bizarre experience, first off the Pizza was outstanding, I would go back just for the Pizza. As a single I sat at the bar and it became very obvious that the bartender was more interested in providing free shots and talking to her friends then serving the rest of us. Luckily I was close to one of her friend groups but the other side of the bar was ignored. During the 90 minutes I was there the bartender and her groups of friends had four shots and extensive conversations while the rest of us got to watch with empty glasses. The Pizza truly made up for it but I really felt like I was getting in the way of the bartenders good time. Made a reservation for 5 on a Saturday night. Was given two time options: 5:30 or 8pm. We chose 8pm. We got there on time and had to wait 25 minutes for a table while watching others with no reservations be seated before us. Decided to try to get a drink at the bar while waiting, stood there for 10 minutes and the bartender never even looked at us. Finally got seated, given menus. Waited for another 15 minutes before anyone even came to see us for a drink order or to give us water. The restaurant was CLEARLY understaffed. Our waitress was very nice, and clearly flustered as she was serving way too many tables by herself. The food was decent. I shared a grilled octopus appetizer and it was delicious! Ordered a Capricciosa pizza as my main course. It was a bit bland, and it was very watery. Had a scoop of gelato for dessert and it was melted when it arrived. My friends enjoyed their dishes (salmon, ravioli, tagliatelle). The drinks were really off their mark: my vodka martini came with no olives, amaretto sour was undrinkable, cosmo was NOT a cosmo. The White House wine was good. Atmosphere of the restaurant is great - they really need more staff and better training for their staff. We went to Industria on a Friday evening during Happy Hour. It was loud and raucous. The waiters and bartenders were going strong. At first I thought, no. But once we settled in at the bar, the service was efficient and it was easy to talk to my companion. We had pizza (capriciossa). It was really, really good. It was easy to eat because they gave you a pair of scissors to cut the slices. It had a nice thin crust and was cooked in a wood-fired oven. There were lots of delicious toppings. I will seek them out again if I am ever in the area. read more

Saumon Tartar was solid and generously portioned for $12, pizzas were tasty however again there seems to be a general trend in restaurans with pizzas being prepared with barely any cheese and 2 inch crusts. Although crust is important in a pizza, it shouldn't be 25% of the pie. We will return to try other dishes and update my rating. read more

I have been at this location on more than one occasion. The decor is fantastic with a good vibe ( maybe a little loud) tried pizza, calamari, rice balls all delicious. Pizza dough real good & the tomato sauce real tasty. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is that service is slow. The servers are real kind but overwhelmed. Both times Friday night and Saturday the restaurant was jammed & service was real slow but the food was always good. Definitely will be going back soon. read more

ZERO STARS! GARBAGE SERVICE! Stay away unless you're EXTREMELY patient and willing to wait an hour or more...for a pizza...cooked in a wood burning oven (literally takes less than 5-10 mins). Can't comment on the food as we never actually got to taste it! Walked out after an hour of BS from our waiter, having only been served a glass of water (which we had to ask for after... 20 mins having been seated!) See the enclosed picture of our incredibly savoury water! Made reservations in advance, and when we arrived there were no tables ready. We were offered to eat at a table lining the lineup of people waiting to be seated (no thanks - don't want people hovering over my head staring at me while I eat) or to sit at the bar (right - we made reservations so we could sit at the freakin' bar that nobody wants to sit at). After waiting at least 15-20 mins for a table (staff looked confused AF), we were eventually seated in a booth that was meant for a group of 6. They simply separated the tables to turn the booth into a booth with 2 tables for 2. We were sat down at the same time as another couple that had reservations and was also waiting for a table. 15 mins later, waiter came by to take the order from the couple beside us, however, didn't bother to take our order at the same time given that we arrived/were seated at the same time. Waiter kept passing by totally ingnoring us. After 20 mins, waived down the waiter to ask for water. When he came back with the glasses of water, he finally took our order. Literally 1 minute later, the couple beside us alreay got their drinks and entrées. A few mins pass and the couple also received their pizza. After about 30 mins had passed, we asked the waiter where our food was and he simply replied that "It's coming...it won't be long". Another 15 mins pass and we ask the waiter about our food again. He replies saying "I know it's long but it's because we're really busy and a lot of orders came in at once". At this point, couple beside us is done eating and waiting to pay the bill. Even THEY noticed the ridiculous service we received and passed comments to us. We stopped the waiter again to say that the wait was ridiculous and if it would be much longer. He left to speak to some guy standing by the pizza oven (looked like some "order coordinator" or something like that cuz he never moved from that spot) and came back to us to say that "I spoke to the guy. He's taking care of it right now. It'll be ready in 5 mins". At this point the waiter could clearely tell that we're peeved about the situation. I'm pretty sure he could even see my blood pumping through my jugular for how annoyed I was. Yet another 10 mins pass by - still no pizza. This was when I looked at the waiter and told him that the wait was ridiculous and clearly explained that the couple beside us were literally seated at the EXACT same time as us and that they were already done eating and had left the restaurant and we still didn't have anything!! All he had to say was "Ya but it's cuz we're busy...bla bla bla". As soon as he walked away, I decided enough was enough and that I shouldn't have to get this aggravated about getting served food in a restaurant. I got up to walk out. I could see who I assume was the manager on duty at the time (short skinny dude with a shaved head) turn to the waiter to say "he's leaving". I made a hand gesture to let him know that we were leaving and the manager didn't even flinch. Didn't bother to apologize or anything! All in all, we were in the restaurant for a total of about an hour and 15 mins and received ZERO service! This has to be the worse service I've ever received in any restaurant. No apology or justification to explain the ridiculously long wait time for 2 freakin' pizzas. They didn't even have the decency to offer an entrées to give us something to munch on while waiting - or at least offer to reduce the bill at the end or something - NOPE! NOTHING! Where to start. Waitress asked if my wife preferred water or bubbled water.. wife answered bubbled please. Food..... pizza was good, then supper came along now this is where the fun began. Wife ordered a veal and i had the pasta. Food arrived well wife's food did... veal was cold like it sat on the counter for 20 minutes. Mash potatoes looked like it was 2 scoops like in high school also obviously cold with a cold piece of what looked like a brocoli with seagrass... wife waited 10 min my plate still hasnt arrived. I told her to start eating +shes pregnant so she ate.... she was 2 bites from finishing.. my plate arrived super excited to see 8 freaken 8 pieces of raviolis... mine was room temperature. We finished good night.. Bill came along.... 38$ for 8 pieces of raviolis -- 48$ for frozen f@ck#n veal obviously got charged for the bottled water and an 11$ rum coke.. this is why some restaurants dont survive for long.. experience waa GARBAGE im still hungry after my meal and it cost me 125$ + tip read more

The restaurants first impression was a gorgeous modern resto. As soon as we entered we were impressed to see a dj. We were seated. Our waiter took sometime to come to the table for his initial visit. We spoke to him in english and he only responded in french which I find impolite. After a few interactions we switched to french because it felt awkward to keep speaking dif language to each other. We got 3 entrees and shared a pizza. The arancini was good. The calamari was average. The sliders were not good. The meat was hard dry and crusty. There was no sauce. And the coleslaw in it was also dry. We told the waiter. In the end he did not charge it. The pizza was great. The cook had a baseball cap on. He had long hair and no hairnet. He also had his pants with belt around the under of his bum. I did not like seeing my cooks underwear. The waiter never asked us how we liked our meal. So we volunteered about the sliders. I asked someone to bring me lemon for my calamari. I saw them walk to the bar open the sliced lemons box used for drinks, he took a slice of what might have been orange and ate it(twice). After taking the slices out with his fingers from his mouth he picked up my lemon slices. It is very difficult and awkward to squeeze lemon on food with sliced not wedged lemon. Basically they need to train the staff better and possibly train them on service. read more
