After my home was damaged by a tornado, I hired them expecting guidance and support through the insurance process. Instead, the public adjuster, who hadn't even read my policy, submitted an estimate that had no legitimate basis. The insurance company rejected it outright. They even attempted to backdate a contract to take a cut of my initial settlement -- something I caught and stopped in time. That alone should tell you what kind of operation this is. All he did was plug generic numbers into a software tool and send it off. I was the one who tracked down contractors, collected real estimates, built the case for a higher payout, and ultimately got the job done -- not him. When I confronted him, I offered to pay for the time spent generating the estimate, even though it wasn't helpful. But he refused and insisted on taking a percentage of my full payout -- money I fought for myself. I felt completely taken advantage of and held hostage by a contract that served his interests, not mine. Disaster recovery is already traumatic. The last thing you need is someone trying to profit off your loss while doing the bare minimum. I regret hiring this company and hope this review helps others avoid the same mistake.

For example, since our floorboards needed replaced, that meant the walls needed repainted, and since floors needed replaced, that meant we needed to hire a moving company, and that stuff (our stuff) needed storage somewhere while the floors were replaced... I cannot remember all of the details, but there was lots of stuff like that which I NEVER would have thought of or even known, so I'm extremely happy I had Peter handling everything for me. I trusted him with everything and I'm very glad I did as we got a lot more from the insurance claim which ultimately let us fix everything in our house that needed to be fixed. However other things that he said that he could help with he never follows through on. Recommending a handyman business that ended up not having a license or insurance was not acceptable at all. Furthermore the insurance would not pay for a business that did not have a contract was license nor business insurance. The office personnel were not helpful when any circumstance becomes complicated. They do not give messages to the appropriate parties as they should or if they did that appropriate representative did not respond to the customer after several complaints over 2 months. What was being asked was not difficult however the adjuster seem to think that his time was apparently more valuable than mine and was too busy to read communications. At least that's what I was told on the phone. In the end I'm sorry things had to end the way that they did because this adjuster told me that I could handle things the best way I could and good luck with that. Not acceptable at all. Unprofessional. Started as a good business relationship soon end it due to the fact that the adjuster simply did not follow up or follow through with what he said he would do.
