Office manager ( nasty and rude) refused to let me see the doctor if I did not pay a "co pay" I have excellent insurance and covered with ZERO co pay/ cost. This lovely person refused to verify coverage and had the nerve to tell me that I cant see the doctor unless I paid a co pay.. I have had this insurance for over 2 years and no other doctor ever collected a co pay.. Not only did this doctor's office collect my co pay, they also were paid at 100% by my insurance carrier.. Can this be fraud?? Fortunately my insurance is good at any doctor of choice.. I hope this " nasty and rude person" feels good.,. She lost a patient.,. I will NEVER return...I was advised by my insurance carrier to file a formal complaint as they are NOT ALLOWED TO DO THIS.............Perhaps, I should contact Help Me Howard?? I just read the response from owner and she lied.. i never had a copay. what Ella is forgetting to mention is that she refused to call for verification. no other doctors' office collect copays on anything as i have 100%coverage with my primary and secondary insurance..im filing a formal complaint with medicare on this company and have copied her response. liar liar pants on fire. they should be ashamed of themselves for outright lying....they have already been paid in full by insurance and have not refunded .. is this fraud?????????? I am disappointed with this "treatment". I came there with a diagnosis of Lymphedema, and first I had to fill out several pages of history (even from my grandparents). The doctor entered it into the computer and said that I needed to do a test, I said that it had already been done so he probably went to look for it, after about 15 minutes the receptionist came and gave me a new apointment in two weeks. The next time a lady saw me and said, that there were no blockages in the veins and she advised me to go to a specialist in the lymphatic system, when I showed her that varicose veins were forming on my leg, she looked at it and said O-YES. and the end of the visit. Couldn't the doctor have said this the first time and just had to wait two weeks for the second unnecessary appointment, and now I'm still waiting to see a new specialist, and the disease doesn't wait. One star more for the receptionist. read more

CONFUSED: I brought my friend to the office maybe a total of four times and there was no social spacing in the waiting room, why? Are you are an infectious disease doctor? Do you still use scientific data to make diagnosis for your patients? The first time I came to your office for a consultation last year and you walked into the room without a mask on, I scratched my head in disbelief and thought maybe it was just a brain cramp on your part. Also that time in the waiting room it looks like there was two representatives either from a pharmaceutical company or something sitting in the waiting room no mask on you come out great them and walk into your office with no mask on. I came back three times after that and I was pushed over to the PA each time, and on the last time you came in after with your mask off, what the hell is up? A few things came to mind....... I decided the next time I came to the office I was going to inquire about the situation, and this is what happened. I asked the PA about you not wearing a mask, She literally dropped her head, well that wasn't a very good poker face so my mind started wandering, and guess what I looked at her and said he voted for him, meaning Trump? I started laughing in disbelief, an infectious disease Doctor Who is not following basic criteria to stop the spread of COVID-19. Do you know how ludicrous this is, unequivocally the stupidest thing that has ever happened to me in my life and the most alarming. The bottom line is, you're arrogant, self-centered and surely Out of touch. I have to ask you this question, do you think it's really a hoax? After 15 years visiting numerous doctors and institutions I can identify a good Doctor and their staff (equally important). Dr. Renae is knowledgeable (very), thorough and explains what he thinks is happening, what he will do about it and why. I trust the treatment he chose and tests, which were suggested by a great cardiologist and Dr. Renae's line of thought was in the same page (without me mentioning a thing). Dr. Renae is a fantastic Doctor. His staff is absolutely amazing as well, it's relatively easy to make an appointment, they are easy to talk with, and respectful and kind. I came to see Dr. Renae based on the reviews I saw on Google. I want to thank him for seeing me on such short notice. Unfortunately that and his assistant were the only things I liked about his practice. There was no communication what so ever between the doctor and myself except for your usual symptom Q & A. He made no suggestions or comments what so ever during the entire interview other than corrections on pronunciations of medications. I went to see Dr Renae for what I believe to be a case of parasites. I showed him pictures of the affected area of my body. I went through detailed explanations of my symptoms and yet what does he prescribe? Your standard Ova & Parasite test that any general physician can prescribe. I explained that I had already done it nine times at two different labs with two prior doctors I had seen. He gets up from the chair and walks out of the room. I am not going to prescribed what I haven't diagnosed he said. On my second visit I didn't even get to see him or speak with him. I went over the lab results with his assistant. I felt cheated that I traveled many miles to get some kind of prognosis in treatment. A specialized blood test or exam perhaps? I brought a list of tests to the office but was turned down on all them and was instead reffered for a $1500 procedure. On a positive note, I liked the way the nurse commented. She is knowledgeable, intelligent and kind. Thumbs up for her (the reason for the second star). I just wish I could've had a more productive conversation with Dr. Renae. They ended up referring me to another doctor after waiting for a while. The receptionist picked the doctor. That tells you everything. Today I called requesting my medical records and one of the receptionists tells me that according to Hippa I couldn't get a copy which is completely ignorant. The second receptionist ended up correcting that. I am saddened that we live in a society where doctors risk hyperinfection which is fatal rather than prescribing a medicine like Ivermectin that has very little side effects.
