Made an appointment and HAD to put a credit card on file because they trust no one. I have 2 insurances and my doctors always get paid unless they are ignorant. Went to appointment and the staff at the window was so stupid and unwilling to help I canceled my new patient appointment over this very visible ignorant staff. I'm not going to waste my time with the doctor if the staff is 110% incompetent to do their job correctly and timely. I will not go back EVER!!! After reading reviews about how bad the staff is I can now understand why the waiting room was empty. read more

This has nothing to do with the Dr.s care Himself. But his office staff is a lot to be desired. From the check in desk to billing to office manager. They are very disorganized in there billing system and bills linger for months before what you know you owe. This has personally happened to me and others as I have read in other reviews . I would never go back to him nor would I recommend him due to his staffing issues. read more

I've been coming to Dr Schramm Robert , for almost two years for my husband's monthly allergy shots. The doctor is great, unfortunately the office management is inflexible and disappointing. After his shot, he has to wait two hours to ensure everything is fine. During our last visit, there was an issue with our credit card, and although I was on my way to resolve it, they refused to start the process or let my husband in, despite having a generated code for such exceptions. This lack of trust and understanding was very disappointing, especially since we've been loyal patients. I hope they can become more flexible and considerate in the future. read more

Really unimpressed to say the very least. I had a 915 appointment and was quickly ushered into a room. After an Hour of sitting there alone, I finally went out to ask what was taking so long, noting that I was the ONLY PATIENT IN THE ENTIRE OFFICE. No one had bothered to tell the Dr. I was even there. Once Dr. Schramm finally appeared he spent most of the time trying to sell me on some line of lotions...Take some samples....blah blah blah. They ran every blood test they could to determine the cause of my sudden intense itching. I got the results from the Lab on Thursday night. I heard from them on WEDNESDAY the following week to schedule a follow up visit. When I asked if the visit would entail anything other than the Dr. telling me that I'd have to go get shots weekly for 5 years, the nurse said she have to find out. If it was going to be different she'd call me back. Can you hear the birds chirping??? Thank good ness for a great Primary and Dermatologist, as they were able to help. Dr. Schramm is hands down the best allergist in Boca. How do I know? Because I've literally seen them all. He diagnosed me quickly and his treatment was aggressive and effective, my previous doctor was not able to accomplish this level of comfort after 6 months of monthly visits. The other reviews slandering the office staff are unfair, I've always paid my bills on time and thus have never had to deal with their collection agency (makes sense, no?). The staff are kind and understanding about scheduling appointments around school, they've squeezed me in on more than one occasion. 10/10 would recommend, there are few doctors I trust like Dr. Schramm. read more

I've been a patient of Dr. Robert Schramm for seven years; and with the highest regard, I would recommend him to anyone suffering from allergies. For most of my life, I suffered from chronic allergies; and constantly, I had to buy boxes and boxes of Kleenex. (I never left home without them). Always, I had to walk around with a bunch of tissues in my pocket, and by the end of the day, I needed more.) The inflammation of my nasal passages caused one sinus infection after another; I was forced to live on cortisone, nasal sprays, antibiotics, anti-histamines, and eye drops for itchy eyes. There was very little I could do to eliminate my symptoms, other than avoiding contact with grass, pollen, trees, weeds, cats, dust, and just about anything else under the sun....). I was a mess! Thankfully, my primary physician, Dr. C. Robert Johnson (another great Medical Doctor) referred me to Dr. Schramm for immunization therapy. Immediately, he created a step-by-step plan to eliminate my misery and suffering. Initially, I received five shots per week; but thankfully, Dr. Schramm was able to get my allergies under control. (I'm now down to two shots a month.) His new office is spacious and immaculate; his staff and assistants are pleasant and helpful (a special shout out to Modina for being such a delight)! When I missed a shot or two, Modina cared enough to call and remind me to make the time to get my shots. I can't imagine another experience, somewhere else, could be any better. If you're debating between Dr. Schramm or someone else, don't think twice; stop searching -- call Dr. Schramm's office for an appointment (561- 368-7006)! I am a snowbird and first saw Dr. Schramm because I was having an asthma attack. He is wonderful. It was easy to make an appointment and he prescribed pills that fixed me up. However, he didn't stop there. He ordered an extensive blood tests (that had never been ordered in my home state) that revealed l, among other things, the exact type of asthma I had. I had been taking monthly Xolair shots that didn't seem to be working and he explained why they weren't working. Dr. Schramm then prescribed another monthly shot (Nucala) and, much to my surprise, the cough that I've had for years is totally gone. Regarding his office: he's a sole practitioner; it's not a clinic. Easy to make an appointment. Very friendly office staff. And PAs. One time I came on the wrong day (had written it wrong into my calendar) and they fit me in anyway. Highly recommend him if you have allergies and/or asthma. read more

Horrendous service. Absolutely disgusting how rude and unprofessional the office manager is. They wouldn't fill out a simple physician verification form (so i could give it to my insurance company) which was promised to be filled out and sent back to me directly after my appointment. They forced me to pay 10$ to get the forms the following week, and after giving my CC info over the phone they still won't send it or give me confirmation that it is sent. The office staff does not care about their patients in the slightest bit. They have no Intention of doing their job or completing the easiest of tasks. I was yelled at and verbally assaulted by the office manager, while i was kindly just asking for confirmation of my form. Still have not recieved it and still mindblown at how inhumane this doctors office is. Would never even think about going back to this docor. Even after two appointments they provided zero help for my allergy problems. read more

I have never been treated so rudely by a medical office. They were uncooperative and the office staff had the audacity to call me back to yell at me. I was utterly shocked. Dr Schramm is great. His girls are wonderful. I have no complaints. Unfortunately like most specialties there may be a wait for a new patient appointments but once you become established as a patient they will see you when you have emergencies. Unfortunately they cannot please selfish people and I find this to be a great quality since these same people make other sick patients uncomfortable when they come to their appointments with there nasty snippy attitudes demanding a different treatment than everybody else. If you have this kind of attitude go find yourself a VIP physician. I love this office they are very caring and the doctor has excellent knowledge. read more

Dr. Schramm is not only an amazing allergy and immunology specialist but also genuinely cares about his patients. He really knows what he is doing and does whatever it takes to make sure his patients are taken care of. Not to mention, the staff that works there is more than accommodating and helpful when making appointments and letting you know about your copay ahead of time. The guy below needs to understand that the doctor deserves to get paid for the service he is providing, I work in healthcare and can understand how tricky insurance can get, but regardless you can't expect to go to a doctor and not pay for the service.I would highly recommend Dr. Schramm to all of my family and friends ! read more

My review is based on the experience I had several years, before I knew about Yelp. I was a long time patient of Dr, Schramm. The doctor himself is a lovely person, however, the staff has changed over the last decade, and thus, the quality of service has also diminished. When I decided to relocate, I made the office staff aware that I was relocating and I made sure to pay any outstanding balances. Thank goodness I kept receipts and print outs of the payments I had made. About a month after I relocated, I began to receive harassing calls, and letters informing me that I had not paid my outstanding balance. I had paid this amount already, therefore, I proceeded to call the office to find out what was happening. I was transferred to the billing department and spoke to their Supervisor. This lady proceeded to yell at me using profane language and had the audacity to tell me that I was being rude because I did not want to pay. At this point, I was livid and told them to check their records again because the check I used to pay the outstanding balance had been cashed. I even provided the date that the check had been cashed. After multiple attempts to be reasonable, I decided to come up with a plan. I went to my bank, and asked them to provide a print out of the amount paid and the cashed check. The bank was very helpful, and even went as far as stamping the documents for proof of authenticity. I made copies of the documents and sent this via certified mail to Dr. Schramm's billing department. I followed up when i received notice that the documents had been delivered. They apologized for the confusion, and I was relieved to have resolved this matter. A week later, I received a phone call from the billing department stating that i had not paid my outstanding balance. I informed them of the documents sent and proof of payment. I told them to stop harassing me with calls, otherwise, they would have a law suit on their hands, The calls stopped coming after that. I have reported them to the BBB. It is a shame that such a wonderful doctor has such terrible staff and billing practices. I wouldn't be surprised if they double bill their patients. Stay away from this place! read more
