Had one of the worst escape room experiences of my entire life playing the Christmas room. The room looked disgustingly cheap. It looked like it was built on a $50 budget over a weekend. Anytime I touched anything it looked like it was going to break. The walls are held up with rubber bands and a dream because if you even barely touched them they moved. Like, literally, the walls sway when you touch them. There must be a building code being violated there... Electrical wires just dangled between props and the outlets with no attempt to cover them up. Kids would definitely pull on them. I'm surprised no one has ever been electrocuted. The place looks like a lawsuit waiting to happen. As far as the game is concerned, most of the puzzles were only fine but this room was way too easy for 90 minutes of gameplay and the higher price tag. My group of three finished the entire room in about 30 minutes, only needing a third of the time given. That just screams poor puzzle design. It honestly felt like a greedy ploy to get more money out of people. I don't understand how that room could take a regular group more than an hour unless they just sat there not doing anything and not asking for any kind of help from their cluemaster. I will say, the only redeeming factor of the visit was our cluemaster Audrey. She was lovely and quite literally the only reason I would ever consider going back here. My main criticism are directed towards the owners of this establishment because they have seriously dropped the ball. The quality of that room is NOT worth the $35 price tag. I have done about 100 escape rooms in the valley and this is the worst room I have done, especially at that price point. Save your time and money for an escape room that is actually good, cuz honey, this ain't it. read more

If you are looking for an amazing escape room experience this is it. The staff is incredibly fun and will make sure you have a great time and the rooms are amazingly well done. I did their LIT room and it has to be one of the most unique themed rooms! I also did the waiting room escape and that was very well done too! My family has done many escape rooms across the Southeast so we decided to try one in Phoenix... and this was one of our favorites! We did LIT and loved it. The room was linear and the clues made sense. It definitely wasn't easy- but not undoable. Great design and fun to play. read more

This was a great escape room location. I've done over 30 escape rooms in different states and this was a great one. I had 3 total people in my party (including me). We started off with the date night escape room. We escaped with about 14 minutes left, but we needed a lot of hints (unlimited hint system - they have a TV with a timer and that's where hints pop up). It was a tough one since we had to be handcuffed. Since there were 3 of us, we were all handcuffed to each other, but you can also opt for 2 together and one with both hands cuffed. You also start blindfolded and get to keep the blindfold. First escape room where you get a souvenir. After playing one room to get a 20% discount. So we then did candy shoppe. We beat this one with over 30 minutes left, it was fun and had a great theme! You also get a souvenir here too. We were having a good time, so we did a third, which was the room lit. This was a challenging room, but we did escape. There are aspects I've never seen in another escape room. It was a lot of fun as well. Overall great rooms, John was amazing!! I'm not from the area, but I'd definitely come back to do Santa's workshop and hopefully they add more rooms! Price wasn't bad too. It was about $43 per person for the 3 of us. After the 20% discount it was about $34 per person. read more

Other escape room owners should go check out what they're doing bc they have some stuff no one is even using yet and it's really brilliant! Truly some of the best rooms we've done. The mini game is breaking new ground, where else can you try out what escape rooms are FOR FREE before you commit to signing up!! Inventor's Secret has a cool atmosphere and neat techie things; Lit is a super creative game with unique elements and puzzles I haven't seen anywhere else in 40+ rooms. We did the inventors secret, it was well laid out with lots of reeally neat surprises that makes you feel completely immersed in a Mad scientist's lab. Very cool room, very cool host! Two thumbs up, a high five and a fist bump from this enthusiast! We did both their LIT and Inventor's Secret Room this past weekend and both of them were excellent! The theme of LIT was really playful but don't mistake that for easy. The puzzles were innovative and there was a good level of difficulty to them. As for Inventor's Secret, we usually hold off on trying a room as soon as it opens so they have time to work out the bugs but, because LIT was so well done, we threw caution to the wind and tried it the second day it was open. And we were not disappointed. There was one hiccup (nothing major) and it was easily fixed. So it wasn't that big of a deal. The puzzles were a good mix of easy and more challenging so I like how it can cater to both beginners as well as those with more experience. Both rooms were very immersive and really embraced each theme. LIT really felt like you were at a hotel even before you walked into the room. Inventor's Secret was aesthetically very pleasing and cool and I was impressed with everything that went into it. In addition to their rooms being great, the folks running the show are equally as great. Dustin, Jackie & Chris truly have a passion (and a talent!) for what they do and it shows in their rooms as well as in their conversation. We enjoyed talking shop with them and getting to learn more about the ins and outs of running an escape room. They are very personable and friendly and welcome feedback. You can tell they always want to make sure they're giving 110% to their customers. And if you simply skimmed through my overly lengthy review and made it to the end, then just pay attention to this part - Go do their rooms, both of them. You won't be disappointed. read more

Just played their Lit room and had an absolute blast. It was a last minute appointment and they were very accommodating and welcoming. As an added bonus they have a waiting room game which was genius and a great intro to escape rooms if you've never played before. If you love escape rooms or want to get into them you should definitely make your way here. read more

Would not go again, the staff was nice and the room was ok, but one of the locks was already unlocked when we entered the room so when we got to that clue we were told to skip it because we already did it, it was frustrating because that clue was one of th easier ones and since we were a small group and had kids, we struggled in the harder clues. It would have been nice to have had that win on that clue since it was a good one for the kids. Also the very last clue was not set up correctly so it created the wrong code so we couldn't win the game. The person giving hints was very slow, we waited 8 minutes after asking for the first hint before we got it and in the end when we were verbally saying the final code and it was WRONG, they should have been listening and noticed the clue was set up wrong. We literally stood there for the last few minutes saying how it didn't make any sense and our whole group just gave up. read more

We played LIT for a company outing and it was incredible! The puzzles were a lot of fun, and their room design was spot-on! I really loved their pre-game game "the waiting room", it is so clever and really gets you primed and in the right mindset for what you're about to do. Inferno is a must for everyone.
