The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with the open kitchen right at the bar, and the views through the wraparound glass are amazing. All of the food was great. I had the goat cheese salad, and it was perfectly fried with a light vinaigrette dressing. The duck was the best I've ever had. It wasn't greasy or gamey at all and had a really nice smoky flavor from the wood-fired grill. The desserts were amazing as well. The soufflé was one of the best I've ever had--not overcooked like so many others, but still soft and creamy inside. The chocolate mousse was great too. I loved the texture of the shell combined with the smoothness of the mousse. The service was top-notch. We never had to ask for anything; the staff was attentive throughout the entire meal without being overbearing. For the quality of the food, atmosphere, service, and overall experience, I thought the price was perfect. You could easily spend more at a high-end steakhouse and not get an experience this good. I would definitely come back and highly recommend it.

For those familiar with Kevin Binkley's former projects, there are hints of what we used to experience at his restaurants but this takes it over the top. The evening was full of surprises, culinary theater and the gorgeous view makes it unforgettable. We used to eat at Christopher's at the Biltmore and it was wonderful to see this playful and stylish iteration. The food was phenomenal, interesting, well-excuted and so very enjoyable. There were a few service hiccups. We were served the same course twice (which was promptly removed when we notified our server). There was a significant gap between two of the courses (maybe 20 minutes or so) and it felt odd. The kitchen knew that I am pescetarian and they beautifully accommodated me except when a plate of lamb appeared in front of me (it was quickly rectified). This is definitely a special occasion meal and if you're looking for something unique and delicious, this is it.

Was sad to hear beef wellington was out of season, but was pleasantly surprised by the Veal w/ Morels. Every bite was a warm hug (from chef vincent). Ended our meal with a large spread of desserts. First, love all the fruits they incorporated in different dishes, which were all delicious. You can tell their fruit came from local farms, which carried great aroma. Their duck was well cooked too! There were a lot of things going on on the plate but at least, the skin was crispy and the meat was juicy. The dessert was the highlight of the whole meal - it was creamy, not too heavy with a perfect balance of sweetness and fruitiness. However, the other dishes were just alright. The flavor of the salad was quite bland, and husband found the stem end of the tomato in the salad. The croissant was a bit doughy. Husband also ordered a beef Wellington, which was just ok (forgot to take a photo) - the beef was cooked well but the pastry outside was a bit saggy. We appreciated all the great ingredients used here. But given the price we paid for this meal (around $200) and the good things we heard about this place, we just don't think this worth the value.

I had bouillabaisse and it was the best thing I have eaten in a long time. It has a little kick to it, which I think may have been produced by ginger. Anyhow, I enjoyed every bite of it. I would order this again in a heartbeat. The service was great. It was lunchtime and they weren't awfully busy so we were served right away and our food came in a reasonable time The ambience was fine. There was a table of guys who were all coworkers, apparently, and they were quite loud, but that was toward the end of our lunch and it didn't really bother us too much.

She checked on us often and kept us smiling. In fact, the rest of the team found a way to always be clearing plates, refilling water etc. Kudos to the team. We were prepared to splurge a little and had the dinner for two. I ordered the Le Village Sparkling Blood Orange Soda. It comes in a large reclosable bottle. I kept refilling my glass and still had half a bottle to bring home. Oh, and the sparking soda was light and delicious! Your opening dish is a choice of soup or salad but neither my husband nor I can resist French Onion Soup. We chose the haricots verts with lemon, shiitakes and almonds and the frites with smoked paprika and herbs to go with our ribeye. Everything was prepared very well. The dinner was topped off with Valrhona chocolate soufflé with chocolate sauce. While the chocolate sauce was fine I think I'd try the mint or Grand Marnier sauce next time. Zinc Bistro doesn't offer you anything for your anniversary but they did present our dessert with a sparkler which was festive of them. We were happy we chose Zinc to celebrate our special occasion and would most likely return.

We started with a bread and herb-ghee platter, the breads made in house with heartwarming specialty grains. Amazing! My wife ordered the lamb shank with root vegetables. It was so tender, tasty and plentiful. She took the leftovers home and gave our dog a few bites. The dog loved this lamb so much that she refused to eat for two days until we replaced her daily fresh cooked beef with lamb! Haha! I ordered the Rabbit with root vegetables having never eaten rabbit before. I figured this would be the right place to try it and I was correct! It was extremely delicious and delicately prepared Cost was very reasonable especially for this level of cuisine. There's no alcohol served, but if you bring your own wine with you, they will happily provide corkage service.
