Our infant is on his second cranial helmet (a custom orthotic device), and it can be very tough to find places that will apply vinyl wraps to them, to make them look cute and less like a medical device! Infinity Conversions has applied a decal (purchased by us elsewhere) to our baby's helmet not once, but twice, done an excellent job, and refused to accept any payment for it. Specifically, I've worked with Patrick both times, who has been accommodating, caring, and an all-around pleasure to interact with. We have yet to go to them for auto needs, but we will be their customers for that in the future! Man, I REALLY wanted to like this business because I was referred to them by a good friend of mine. However, their communication is horrible! I originally submitted an inquiry online and heard back from JJ and cc'd was Patrick. After telling them more about what I wanted for my truck, they never got back to me. I eventually called them the following week to talk to JJ over the phone. He told me I would need to take my truck in so they could look at it and see if anything else needed replacing. I took my truck in that same day which is over an hour drive for me. The mechanics took at look at my truck and said everything looked great. After this JJ told me he would get back to me with a quote soon. Fast forward a week later and I still haven't heard or received a quote. I called them again and spoke to JJ on the phone. He's words were "There is a few other quotes in front of you, so I still haven't sent it yet. I'll try and get it out today." Fast forward another 3 days and I have still not heard from them. I'm sorry guys but if it takes you guys over a week to get me a quote....y'all need a better system. Super disappointed about this lack of communication from JJ and Patrick. read more

I was unhappy with the appearance of the factory installed/painted grille on my 2023 Bronco. I bought the preferred grille, but was unable to locate a shop to paint it for me. JJ from Infinity Conversions responded within a day of my Yelp inquiry, offered what I considered a fair price for the service, and had my new grille painted and ready for pickup within 2 business days. I originally thought of going to the Badlands grille color (carbonized gray), but a friend suggested I match the grille to my body color. Once that seed was planted, it grew. So I decided on going with body color (Eruption Green). This was an excellent decision. Do your homework and don't expect to be informed. I went to Infinity on a referral. I had a tow bar installed on the front of my Nissan Frontier so I could tow it all wheels down behind my RV. Luckily, someone told me that towing my Frontier all wheels down would ruin my truck's transmission before I got too far down the road. And I have since found out that in most states in the USA, I think Missouri is the one exception, you must have an additional braking system installed. I assumed with their knowledge they would alert me to any issues but they didn't. Never assume. I know they are in the business of making money but putting something on a vehicle that could potentially be a safety issue without one utterance of a warning is alarming. read more

These guys are rude!! Don't recommend them whatsoever! I had Infinity Conversions install a bed liner on my truck. Spent over $400. Within a month one of the side bed caps blew off. I returned to the store and got nothing but rudeness and run-around. They wouldn't commit to fixing it on a warranty basis. I thought I got them to order the part and after the holiday weekend I called on its where-abouts. The owner said the truck was delayed and would call me when it got in. Of course, nothing has happened. I would avoid these guys like the plague. I will gladly eat the cost just to avoid dealing with them. read more

I also ask friends about their experiences. What I can tell you is Infinity Conversions could've sold me a product for twice as much but thy didn't. What they did do is find out what I was trying to accomplish and offer other solutions. The solutions offered I never even thought of. Th y saved me a bunch of money and the end result was exactly what I was wanting. They aren't going to give you a sales pitch. They aren't going to run your shoulders just to make you feel good. I recently took my "Infiniti" to Infiniti Conversions to have some custom sound system fabrication and installation done. I worked with Scott primarily but also with others through the process. First and foremost as many of you who have looked for a good shop for installations will attest... there aren't many in Austin, if any, that 1) actually know what they are doing or 2) give you a feeling that they aren't just there to suck money out of you (yeah you Custom Sounds). I can say that both my feelings working with them and the result after the job convinced me there's at least one shop in Austin that cares about the customer as well as their revenue. The price was very fair and even though the job took twice as long as quoted they honored the quoted rate regardless and the quality of the work (I had a custom side panel for an Alpine processor made and wired into the existing system) is top notch. I'll be returning for a custom false floor setup for my amps and sub in the rear ending up with a stock look for a high end system. While I can't comment on the facts behind the negative reviews it sure looks to me like there was more to it than the reviews might indicate. I like to think I'm a pretty good judge of character and from my experiences over at IC I never had any of the experiences others have expressed... which from the reviews appear to be over some kind of problem with a Groupon promotion. So make your own decision and at least give them a try I think your experiences will be as good as mine was. read more

This is in reference to a truck that i bought in 2002 and had my nerf bars installed thru the dealership before delivery. Fast forward to 2017, the truck is still working, but some things are falling apart.. lol... I had one of the three bolts holding my nerf bar shear off while i was in Texas visiting. I had started with a regular mechanic, they blew me off, they sent me to a auto body shop, they blew me off, but did recommend an off-road sales/installer. That is were my adventure begins. Infinity checked out the remaining bolts. they tightened those and were able to get the bolt that sheared off out!!!! They directed me to the dealership for a replacement bolt. The dealership did not carry the bolt (since my truck is old and discontinued) and directed me to a bolt manufacturer for a replacement. The bolt manufacturer was able to get a comparable replacement. I brought it back to Infinity Conversions and they installed it, IT WORKED!!! I can't believe my luck... I offered to pay them the first time they checked it and got the broken bolt out and tightened the others, and i offered to pay again when he installed the new bolt. They would not take my money !! With most of my family living nearby I am spreading the word. I hope the generosity they showed me is returned tenfold. read more

I think Groupon is a scam so you won't find me using it. Infinity Conversions put in a bedliner on my Ford F150 6 years ago and it's still in great shape. A little fading but that's to be expected. I'm taking another truck in this week for another liner. The dealership wanted me to use another lesser known brand that uses a Texas animal for its name but I refused. I rarely give any business five stars but they'll earn another star if the second truck works out as expected. Update: good job on the second truck but they didn't spray the top of the bed around the edges. I'll keep it at four stars. read more

I came in to Infinity Conversions for new nerf bars, a new stereo, and new speakers for my 2011 Toyota Tundra, with me being a bit ignorant of the current offerings in those areas. JJ lined me up with some really nice Raptor nerf bars while Patrick got me lined out with a perfect sound system, and both JJ and Patrick were very knowledgeable and honest with their advice and recommendations. I made my selections based on their recommendations, and we scheduled the work. Infinity Conversions had my vehicle in the shop at the scheduled time and was out in the scheduled time with everything exceeding my expectations. The fit, finish, and setup was amazing. I had Scott at Infinity install a complete custom audio system in my 2013 Jeep Wrangler and he did an awesome job! This included new speakers/tweeters all the way around, new amp, sound processor, backup camera, and custom sub/amp box. His attention to detail was great and the install came out exceptionally clean. One of my biggest concerns was that everything look as stock as possible since it is a Jeep and I run without the doors & top a lot and it does. Unless you saw the sub/amp box (which is under a locked cover anyway) you'd never know my system wasn't bone-stock (until you heard it, that is). The box is perfect as it provides GREAT sound but has a very small footprint and doesn't compromise hardly any of my storage space. Also, the job he did flush-mounting the backup camera in my spare tire came out great and looks/works perfect. Lastly, he came in exactly at his estimate, down to the penny, regardless of changes Jeep had made to the dash which made the install a little trickier than he expected. I know Scott is a "hired gun" as he used to have his own Car Audio Shop in Georgetown, but I never knew him then. All I can say is if the rest of the guys at Infinity do as good of work as Scott and have as much attention to detail, then I've found a new shop for ALL my vehicle work. read more

If you want great service and the job done the first time GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! After three weeks of waiting on parts they take my car in have it all day then tell me at the end of the day they ordered the wrong set of mufflers. I take pains to bring it back the next week when all the parts are in. They have it all day and still don't install the mufflers! I wash my hands of them and got my money back. They removed the bed bolts and covered up the holes for my goose neck connectors. They did an amazing job and I'm not easy to please. There was no over-spray and the finish is flawless!
