Two techs came out to my house to provide he estimate. They removed the door to look at the rollers. They reinstalled the door and DID NOT readjust the rollers. Now I am in worse shape that when I started. I can hardly open/close the door and it's difficult to lock. Now I'm forced to rush to find someone to undo what they did. I'm really surprised that a company with so many good reviews would resort to such a crappy tactic to force a customer to accept their bid. Based on my results, I would recommend avoiding this company, even if the alternatives cost more. I received a reply stating that they have been calling me to "make it right" but that I am hanging up. That's just not true! Secondly, they said the door was reinstalled in the "same shape" as when they removed it. 1. They adjusted the rollers to make it easier to remove. Okay 2. They reinstalled it and left. Not okay. 3. I was an idiot and shattered our sliding glass patio door. DJ (little) and Soto did an outstanding job replacing with new glass! Here is a pic of the shattered glass. I've not taken a pic after the replacement, nothing to see really, just a great looking sliding glass door. You'd never know it had been replaced by looking at it. The tech that came out to spec the job did a great job measuring and ensuring they ordered the right glass to match original. I give them 5 out of 5, 10 out of 10, or 100 out of 100 on their workmanship. Looks as good as new, perhaps better. I'll use Vegas Custom Glass in the future if I ever need their services. It took longer for them to get the project done. But they do deserve a 5-star rating on this project. It is to make a custom cut shower enclosure to fit on an opening with 2 significantly crooked walls and a tilted bottom that was way out of the adjustable range of a regular shower enclosure. They did a precision measurement work for the custom cut glass doors and installed them with every step in detail for a reasonable price. Just go with Vegas Custom Glass, I'm glad I did! At the initial consultation, DJ explained all the details of each option. I believe I made the best choice by going with the 1/2" thick Starphire. It was more expensive but I think it's worth it. I have 3/8" thick frameless glass in another shower that's much smaller and it wobbles quite a bit in the top corner. The 1/2" thick glass has very little wobble and the Starphire doesn't have any green tint in it. The glass was installed within a week and the installation went well. Best experience ever! Let me start by saying that I never write reviews, but this was such an amazing experience that I had to let the public know how good Vegas Custom Glass is. I emailed 3 different glass companies to ask for a ballpark estimate about custom shower glass, and Amy emailed me back in a couple of hours asking me for some dimensions so she could get a better quote. As far as the other companies, neither one ever got in contact with me, which unfortunately, is normal these days. Amy got back to me with a quote in 7 minutes, and I knew at that moment that I had found the perfect company, and I was going to give them my business. Not only were their prices amazing, but their customer service matched. I made an appointment for someone to come out and measure on a Wednesday, but my tile guys just finished. Darryl, who happens to be one on the owners, reached out and told me that he would rather wait for things to settle to measure so none of the measurements would change. He offered to come out on Sunday to take the measurements, and we gladly accepted. When Darryl came out to measure, he was not pushy at all. He asked what we wanted and gave us some ideas that we didn't even know was a possibility. He gave us a quote right there and then with normal clear glass and Starphire glass. Prices were so awesome that we went with the Starphire glass which came with a free protective coating (Enduro Shield) baked into the glass. In a few hours, he was back in the office, gave me a call about a door hinge that he found that we were looking for, and sent me a rendering of what the glass would look like with all the hardware on it. Our shower glass was set to be installed on Monday. The crew came out (amazing as well) and got everything set up, but noticed something was off with one of the hinges and the holes in the glass. They asked me to come take a look, which most trades that I have experienced, would have tried to hide it and continue with the install, but these guys wanted to make sure that I knew what was going on. I'm glad they did because I did not like what the glass was going to look like. They packed everything up and told me that they were going to reorder the glass and put a rush on it. Tuesday Darryl called me and told me that they found out the hardware company sent them the wrong hinges. They found the correct ones and set up the install for Wednesday.
