We had Delux come out and do an estimate for a new window. This part of the process was easy. We had them come out and install the new window. Once the work was complete (I was out of town but had family present), I received a phone call from the technician who proceeded to tell me our windows were under warranty from the manufacturer (unfortunately, the original company we used had gone out of business, so we had no idea and couldn't contact them). I find it extremely poor business practice to tell me AFTER I paid you $1200 for a new window, that I could have contacted the manufacturer. While I understand you're a business and technically isn't your job to notify us, your technician who provided the estimate could have told us..but the fact you told us after you took our money is just slimy. I would make sure to double-check your warranty before proceeding. Update: I received a phone call this morning from who I assume is the manager. He called to "rectify the situation", but instead of doing so he argued with me and never once offered any solution to "rectify" anything. I told him if they would have told me that on the front end I would have called the warranty company and if they wouldn't have covered it, we still would've gone with their company regardless.... But they didn't give us the opportunity because we were told on the back end. He proceeded to tell me that broken windows aren't covered. He knows this for a fact, and apparently now works for the warranty company as well. But again, if I would have been told this on the front end, I would have called the warranty company, if they denied it, we would have gotten the service and this whole situation goes away. The only thing that they did to "rectify" anything was apparently scolded the employee who lied to us. Literally the worst customer service I've ever received and I updated to a one star. I called this morning because I attempted to open my bedroom window for the first time since I moved in a year ago and it was blocked by the other side of the window! Even though it would probably be a small job, not an entire house window replacement, the dispatcher was courteous, and said she could get someone out to my home that same day, and there would be no charge to look at it. I received a call from Giovanni a short time later, which was much sooner than I expected, he asked if he could stop by. He took one look at the window and said the left window panel was installed backwards! He said it was an easy fix, showed me the screws to remove and the center holding stripping, and he said slide it out, turn it around and put it back together. No charge, no upsell attempt, just a courtesy! I did as he instucted and fixed the window myself. How nice it is in today's competitive world to know that there is a company out there willing to take care of a customer, even if it did not bring in a buck! I never understood why companies do not remove the aluminum rails for the aluminum single pane windows, especially since they tell you that aluminum expands and contracts in heat and that it's not good to have aluminum windows and that is one of the reasons why customers should switch to their vinyl windows When doing so I asked them to remove the aluminum pains, but several companies said they don't do that fortunately, I came across deluxe windows with a clean job. They did with very minimal damage to the stucco and no damage to the interior drywall they were fast, quick efficient with reasonably priced Dual pain windows that cut the heat out significantly more than the single pane windows ever did this company is definitely a company that I would suggest to get a quote from as I've been very pleased with their quality value and their customer service to ensure that the windows were done properly and efficiently read more
