NO the ventilation from the 1 bathroom fan was actually going out the vent in the soffit not directly into the attic. JR suggested venting it thru the roof. I'm 100% sure if for 33 years the exhaust were vented into the attic that and plywood would've never lasted that long. We put that first roof on approximately 29 years ago and the baffles were installed correctly! Not smashed in and broken like the subcontracted crew attempted to do on the second installation, but was stopped by the homeowner. I have never heard your name Ethan. I don't know who you are and once again, why would the shop need to be replaced with brand new shingles within six months if it were purely a ventilation issue on the home. what I would like is some honesty about actually what happened and you were initially asked to give my husband $500 for his time and JR said that wasn't happening. and the continued reviews are because you are shifting, and that is purely dishonest business practice, and consumers should be made aware. as a business owner ourselves, we are aware of how a business should be run. And you also continue to use the word that the supervisor wasn't here at the START of the project-Hunter was NOT here until he brought sign off sheet and said if we didn't sign it, we would not get the warranty paperwork. That was also the same day that he went up on the roof with Mike for the first time so Mike could point out the incorrect flashing installation. Perhaps following thru on your Promised Post Inspection (which didn't happen until the homeowner requested it). again, I will point out that the areas of buckled shingles were nowhere near our bathroom!! The buckling was located in 3 areas on the south side of home-the biggest area was down from the chimney flashing. The mention of Infinity receiving 50% off the shingles is due to the fact that you got a discount and what did we get a damn headache. It was also mentioned on our meeting on the patio. If we were a veteran then the company could claim a veterans discount. Funny how we were never asked that when we got our first quote. More Ethical Business Practice???? As far as the SUPERVISOR NOT being here AT ALL-it was also agreed the job should have been canceled if he could not be here as the company promised ! like I said it's soooo nice you warranty your workmanship (or your subcontracted crew's workmanship) but the Consumer expects it to be done correctly the first time!! So obviously this Company will not admit the shingles were NOT installed via Certainteed guidelines-Even though Jake and Steve know it's true. I will continue to post reviews and I will continue to spread the word and believe me-I know a lot of people and they know a lot of people. Especially since the blameshifting and excuses come with your answer. Keep it simple-admit the job did NOT get done right and your SUPERVISOR DID NOT SHOW the ENTIRE project leaving my husband to supervise and try to communicate with non-English speaking subcontractors. As far as the baffles being incorrect prior to the first job....who did that come from? someone had the time to look at the baffles from the subcontracted crew, but none of the plywood was inspected prior to installing the shingles. hmmmmmm interesting isn't it. again, I don't even know who you are but continue with the and making up lies. Whoo hoo!! Our unexpected roofing project is complete and the checks are in the mail. Overall it was a very positive experience, and we'll definitely consider Infinity Exteriors when we're ready to replace our windows. We had multiple estimates and we felt like Infinity had the best product, warranty, reputation, customer service and will have longevity as a company should we need to use the warranty. One small negative, lots of meets expectations, and one BIG positive! When shingle samples were dropped off, they were the wrong level shingle for what we had contracted for. We didn't realize this, so after much debate we made our decision on the samples we were provided. It was a bummer to find out we had to go back into debating the best color choice. Overall, the rep communicated well with us during this process and made sure we got the right shingle samples soon after the mistake was realized. As our big day approached, the shingles were delivered, and I was worried that the dumpster wasn't delivered. No need for me to worry!! The dumpster was delivered the day of our roofing project and removed the very next day. It was nice not to have to maneuver around it. We were told that the roofers would arrive as early as 7am. At 7:04, there were footsteps on our roof! I left to take our dog to a friend's house where it would be quiet and came home minutes later to count 7 people working on the roof. Honestly, the noise level when I was inside our ranch house was never unbearable. Prior to Infinity ever coming onto our property, one length of our fascia had come off. It was in good shape, tucked along the foundation of the house for safekeeping and it was on the "honey do" list to be put back. After the roof was completed, we noticed that the piece of fascia was gone, likely mistakenly taken during clean up. I let our project manager know. He apologized and had someone come out and replace that section. It was probably a small thing for them, but their willingness to replace it without charging us extra was a really big thing for us. I appreciate that our rep and project manager both communicated via text. I spoke to them both on the phone and they were pleasant that way, too, but text really works best for me. I've called the office twice. Once to confirm that everything was submitted to insurance and once to confirm that payment was sent. The receptionist had a very pleasant manner. read more

From start to finish, getting our new roof was a SMOOTH PROCESS. The whole process took a little over a month; however, that was due to the fact that we were getting multiple inspections and quotes, including that of our insurance adjuster. Our initial consultation had to be rescheduled; however, they did so in a timely manner. The consultant was VERY THOROUGH in explaining the process and setting our minds at ease regarding insurance claims, materials, warrantee, etc. He was very RESPONSIVE and HELPFUL in PROMPTly replying to my emails regarding questions we had. The day of the install, eight gentlemen arrived bright and early and got to work. They did a great job setting up plywood and tarps for the purpose of PROTECTING the windows, siding, and inhabitants (preventing us from going out certain doors to avoid getting injured by falling debris). They were also obliged to cut some branches that were hanging too close to the house for them to work, which was very HELPFUL. (We had contacted a few arboreal companies to trim the tree before Infinity arrived; however, those companies did not follow through.) They worked 11 hours in extremely hot (80+ degree, full sun) weather, getting the job finished and cleaned up by 6:30 p.m. (Clean up was pretty thorough; however, we continue to find a few nails, bags, and odds and ends here and there in the yard and bushes.) My only negative comment would be that because of the heat and sun and how they spread out their tools and supplies all over the yard, we now have scorched grass spots all over the yard on every side of our house. It's been about three weeks since they came, and there are still evidences of damage that I don't know is repairable short of reseeding. We were told that after the job was completed the dumpster and extra supplies would be picked up within 3-5 days. To our surprise, both were picked up the NEXT DAY. All in all, we are VERY PLEASED with the THOROUGHNESS and TIMELINESS that Infinity has exhibited from start to finish on our roofing project. Of all the firms we interviewed, Infinity Exteriors was the best at being the most thorough during the quoting process, going over all details without requiring that they first be awarded the job or be given any sign that they are a finalist. After they quoted the job, they were responsive to every follow up question. During the quoting process, Jake did an excellent job identifying, on his own, special roof and gutter design issues with our home, the kind of detail that the other firms did not notice. He also came up with a creative solution to a known roof issue. At the first meeting at our home, Jake brought roof and gutter materials for my wife and I to review and select, something else that none of the other firms did. As the job date approach this Spring, Scott was accommodating regarding the COVID 19 crisis, respecting our concerns about their crew and our family keeping safe and healthy. As the job progressed, the roofing crew, led by Enrique, was respectful about our concerns about keeping the landscaping undamaged. The gutter crew was also professional. Our gutter system has three issues related to the design of our home. The crew identified two of those issues on their own, brought them to our attention, and developed practical solutions. My wife and I were quite worried that our home would not look the same with asphalt shingles, as our home was built with cedar shake. Jake helped us select an affordable asphalt shingle that he felt could offer a look as special as what we had with cedar shake. To our surprise, once the roof was done, we realized that the choice of asphalt shingle has resulted in a curb appeal that is actually better than what the cedar shake created. Bottom line. June 7, 2019 To Whom It May Concern, I want to thank sales representative, Jason Strekow, and everyone involved in my roofing, windows, attic venting and attic air-sealing project! I was impressed with the dedication of every person involved, and every aspect of their work! I got 3 quotes for the roofing, including Infinity's. The other two companies quoted my project without sending anyone to physically look at my home. When Jason came, he wan't just looking at my roof, but instead, every improvement that Infinity could provide to my home. He calculated what would be needed for proper venting and of my attic and included that, as well. I chose Infinity because of their package of services and the value they offered. Though it was $3k more than I anticipated spending, the value was well worth the added cost. The roofing crew was excellent! They took down my old, non-functioning, chimney and roofed over the opening. They also roofed my shed at no additional charge. My attic is now appropriately vented and sealed, which will save energy all year-round. They also corrected an issue with my bathroom vent. The installation of glass block windows in my basement was completed within 2.5 hours and was done to my complete satisfaction. The air-sealing and insulation work in my attic was done with great efficiency and expertise. Everything that Jason promised to take care of, was seemingly executed properly. I can honestly say that this is the best home improvement project that I have ever paid for. DO NOT call them for your spring projects!! Please email me and I'll share in detail our personal experience with this company. It started a year ago for us. They sent a subcontracted crew to our home who damaged our roof, windows and two garages. A year later we are still dealing with this mess. The project is not finished and they refuse to take responsibility for the damages. We had another company come out and they estimated $78,000 in damages from Infinity. Infinity is trying to bully us into paying for the entire project which isn't finished and is less than the damages they owe us. Mike Saglin brand manager stepped in when the project went south with two subcontracted crews and no project manager. He admitted to all that went wrong and made numerous promises to make things right. He is now gaslighting us and threatening us. He continues to email me asking to come to an agreement but then when I tell him he needs to deduct the damages from the project total he refuses and threatens court and putting a lien on our home. DO NOT let this company fool you. I have personally spoken to many others who had this experience with them as well and I wish I had known before we signed a contract with them. This is my third experience with Infinity and all have been great. First time was a roof replacement on my first home a few years back. Roof is top of the line with a transferable warranty. When I sold the house two years ago I'm sure one of the finer selling points was the transferable roof warranty. Moved into this older house and decided to replace the roof, gutters and siding. Since Infinity had done a great job the first time, we went with them again. I can say we are not disappointed! The roof, gutters and siding look great. The people that work at Infinity are professional and personable which means they take care of any issues you may have with the job. I've worked with several project managers and all have been great. We had all of our windows replaced, the exterior doors replaced and the complete exterior of our house done- siding, facia and gutters. It took 2 days to replace the windows (21 of them!). The following day the 2 exterior doors were replaced- and a storm door. The fourth day the exterior work began. What a crew! They tore off all of the old wood siding and replaced it with new. Two days and the siding was complete! The final days were spent adding trim and replacing the gutters and facia. We were pleased from beginning to end. Infinity, their project managers and their crews were always friendly and professional. The crews were fast and efficient - and they did a fantastic clean-up job. There were never any pushy sales. All of our questions and calls were answered promptly. Infinity kept us updated from the time we signed until the job was complete. They were very attentive to our concerns. We have been in the process of getting estimates to remove and replace the vinyl siding on my home. I contacted four businesses, one came out and did the hard sell. Another believe it or not gave me and estimate by just looking at a satellite photo of my house.
