Went in for manicure. Was told 15-20 min wait. Waited 1.5 hours. Couldn't leave because they had already "prepped" my nails to remove gel. And then to remove gel polish, they used blade to scrape it off. Totally damaged nails. Now nails are so thin where scraped, almost completely down to skin. They don't charge what is posted. Lotsa add ons. All I wanted was manicure. Got very rushed job, bad pain job, that chipped 4 days later, for $55..... for a very poor manicure that barely trimmed cuticles. I just wanted out of there. I requested a full set acrylic with gel polish, so a base of 56. I was fully aware it cost 5 for shape and 5 for length. I wanted a double french with a very simple design on my ring fingers. 3 colors total, and a design. She quoted me 94. On the website it says a french is 8, 2 simple designs is 8, and 2+ colors is 3 dollars. 66+19 is 85, but she said 94 so I asked to remove the design and was quoted 84, weird! She begins the french and shapes it out with the remover and it was almost a straight line still, so I asked her to round my french out a little and was told there was a 30 dollar fee because what I wanted was an "art french", even though all she had to do was use the same brush with remover to just make the line not straight? 30 dollars for what everyone else calls a regular french is outrageous. THEN, I'm told one of my colors would be 15 dollars not 3. In what world does the small line on a double french equal 15 dollars worth of polish. My nail shapes were all uneven and not matching, not touching my cuticle, there was acrylic all over my fingers. Hidden charges aren't cute and if I would've done what I had truly wanted for my PROM nails , it would've been 124 since I wanted my french to look like a french! Asked her to remove my straight black line of nail polish and that I would leave as is. Absolutely no way I will come back, prices listed should be the true prices. read more

Let me "clarify" a few things again, we made an appt, why do you take appts if you're not going to guarantee a tech is available? Secondly, we requested the hot stone package and said it 2 times the tech pressured us by saying to take the volcano pedicure because it was "better". I don't agree I would have preferred what I asked for. Third, my sister asked for French tips and told her tech to trim her nails, the tech made her nails too short and apologize to my sister and said she was going to have to paint her whole toenails all white because her toenails were too short for French tips. That was not something my sister asked for. Luckily I did not ask for a French tip, however, mine were also cut entirely too short. And when asked me what color I wanted I was given no samples to choose from there were no colors to look at to choose from any where. i've been coming here for several years and they keep getting worse. They kept telling customers to sit down when there was clearly a long wait. They told customers there was a 20 minute wait, to grab a color and sit anyway. I chose a pedicure with different scrubs and lotions, but the tech slapped them on and rinsed them off to get out quickly. They did the same with all customers today. Then an unfriendly rude woman with unwashed greasy hair gave one pedicure and another, more friendly gal gave the other. They moved my daughter to a nail chair and to be fair did a great job on her nails. However $150 for a full set and a lowest level basic pedicure that is supposed to be $35 is RIDICULOUS. I was moved to several different chairs for nails only to discover they were out of both dip powders I'd chosen. I asked for ROUNDED nails- repeating it three times to the nail tech who wouldn't even speak to me before I gave up and left with ugly squared nails for which I was also overcharged. We walked out having been charged well over $280. The salon was dirty, the bathroom was gross with stuff dripping down the wall. Service was hit in a couple ways but mostly miss. They had just been put on a couple weeks before. She didn't say anything beforehand just ripped them off roughly and charged me extra. I I can usually blow off one bad experience but it is becoming more frequent . I just want to go in have a nice experience and pretty nails. After going there for years I don't feel like a valued customer. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I can go to other salons in town, receive a smile and be greeted by name. Had a 9:30am appointment time and didn't get started until about 10:15. I asked for a full set of acrylics, short square with gel polish. Length was ok but noticed a couple uneven tips so I asked for those to be fixed and was met with questioning about it. Got those fixed and was rushed through the rest of the service. At the end I wasn't too happy but figured I could deal with it. Got to the car and they looked even worse in the sunlight. I called to see what could be done and was told I could come in and wait my turn as a walk in, to get them fixed, or come back at 6pm. So I walked in and waited. Again I was questioned two more times as to what was wrong with them, until I finally just said everything was wrong. Instead of removing the main 2 nails I was upset about, she filed the sides even more and made them now coffin shape while the rest were square. Not cool. Asked to just have them all taken off at this point. Sat and soaked them off, was given cuticle oil and was then waved towards the door and told "ok you can go now" to which I replied "I paid $60 for nails. I'm not leaving without nails. Then I was told it would be an additional $43 for a new set bc "we already waste so much time and we work on commission" so I said no and that if the nails would've been done correctly and not rushed the first time them we wouldn't be wasting time. She agreed to put on a new set and length for $20 but continued to file the nails into crooked shapes and then began slamming the polish bottles on the table I was sitting at. Made a appointment for my wife and I to get pedicures. Came in about 15minutes early and waited. At least one walk in came in and was promptly seated. Within a reasonable amount of time we got seated and waited while the walk in got a pedicure. Finally one lady came to do our pedicures. She started with mine?? Clearly my wife would need more time for her nails to dry. Mine was rushed tru with very little massage. Nobody even started on my wife. I was asked to get out of my chair when mine was done. I just left this salon and wanted a simple pink base with white french tip a classic nail look with gel. I had the owner doing my nails and thought they would turn out amazing. She didn't cut any of my cuticles, didn't file my natural nails just clipped them and stuck some tips on. At first I didn't think anything of it that she put white fake tips on but half way through I realized she wasn't going to paint them like I had asked and was using the fake nail (tip) as the French tip. It's half way down my finger and the French tip starts in the middle of the nail and it should start at the end that's why it's called French TIP not French middle. Looking at them now I'm finding red sparkles here and there throughout the nails and they just look so trashy. I cannot believe I spent $60 to be embarrassed of whats on my nails. Update : the managers retort blaming me for the techs horrible service makes me pretty happy with my decision. This really bums me out, but I won't be going here again. The service started out great, and the quality used to be top notch, but has gotten worse over the last few months. It started with making appointments, and still having to wait 2-3 hours at times. I get regular shellac, and drive from about 20 miles away, so they'd immediately have me begin soaking them off-- and then let me sit until my hands began to go numb or I tried to politely point out that i had an appointment . This happened a few times, but I was still willing to think it was just a couple busy days, and the quality and service was still good. Then they stopped taking appointments.... Which was ok but i never don't call ahead to make sure it's not crazy busy. Any time Queenie or Heidi did my nails, they were wonderful and professional, but the last three times I've been in, I've been subjected to the rudest, most careless technician I've ever met. She was visibly irritated to have to leave her phone to deal with a customer, rude and constantly rolled her eyes at me, and even more so when I told her I didn't want a manicure, just shellac. I had had a manicure the time before, and they didn't even last a full eight days, so I didn't want to pay for another manicure-- I just wanted to get the shellac. She got huffy at this point, forgot the number of my polish several times, then didn't bother to shape my nails at all, in fact, I had to ask her specifically to do each one. She wrenched my hand every time, to let me know she was pissed off at my request, and I had to again remind her to wipe the residue off at the end. I have never met a less professional nail tech, and she was doing this openly in front of Queenie. After all of this, my nails looked absolutely awful, and she very pointedly asked me how much I was tipping. I would never not tip someone, but her approach was the worst customer service I've ever experienced (I still tipped 15%). She then chased me out of the building, demanding she needed my name for my credit card slip (this has never been an issue before). I'm sad to say I'll be going elsewhere, and I'm sorry I wasted my gas money in the first place. I don't like leaving bad reviews, but this was the last straw. read more

Edit: the wait was too long and my nail bed/cuticles were blessing and very painful 30 minutes after I left. They were way too rough on my nails. Below is my original review so you can see my original positive feedback. I got a fill for my acrylics done here today. I arrived at about 12:45 and left two hours later. Here are the pros and cons: Cons: 1. I waited for almost and hour before being helped 2. They're weren't many people working but there were quite a few waiting 3. They only have four chairs in there waiting area so some people waiting had to stand or sit on the floor. 4. It took her about an hour to do my nails. Pros: 1. My nail technician was friendly and personable 2. She asked me what I wanted and checked to make sure I liked the shape, length, etc. ever step of the way. 3. She was meticulous with my nails and they look wonderful now. 4. It's great for small children. There were two small children getting there nails done when I got there and the staff treated them great and made sure they were having fun. 5. They have a punch card so if you come back 5 times, you save $5 dollars the sixth time. So, if you get your nails done regularly, it's a great deal. In conclusion, the wait sucks but the nails don't. The staff is friendly and honestly wants to make sure every customer gets what they want. Great customer service. I will definitely be back. It's pedicure season, so I'm pretty sure you would have to wait at any nail salon. So, is your short on time and it's a weekend, probably don't come.
