Jason and his team are courteous,professional,and experienced. We have relied upon them for many years. When you have a HVAC outage and the temperature inside your home is unbearable, call Jason's Air-Tex Services! They treat your situation with understanding and a desire to restore your comfort. They never gouge or try to pressure you to spend money beyond what is necessary. If you want a tech in your home to resolve the issue and Not act as a salesman, then look no further. I am sharing this recommendation because I have been burned by gimmicky A/C companies in the past. Jason's is the go to company especially in an emergency. I suggest you hire them for semi annual system checks to prevent problems. You'll be glad you did. read more

Jason's Air-Tex is absolutely the best!!! You won't find better customer service along with techs that know what they're doing. They've always been able to quickly access issues with my units. Received great service today from Jason's Air Tex Services. They were hired by my home warranty company as a second opinion because the first company was very hands off and were more interested in selling me their own services than correcting the issue. James from Jason's company showed up and had my issue resolved within an hour. He was very knowledgeable and got my air conditioning up and running quickly. I would highly recommend them and told my Home Warranty company that Jason's should be their go to company vs. the first company they sent me. Great job! I would advise looking for a HVAC company where the techs don't work on commission trying to sell you products and Jason's appears to not have that business model. Their techs take care of you and work with your home warranty company to get your issue taken care of. read more

We have been using their services for a few years now to repair our ac unit and furnace. The work is always thorough, they never try to push a service on you, and repairs are always made in a very efficient manner. The phone staff is friendly and responsive as well. read more

The man that came was polite and seemed like a good guy, buuut... -It took 3 days from when I made the initial call (very early Wednesday) for him to actually come assess the problem. He came on a Friday afternoon (it was a 4 hour window, so frustrating if you have plans), but didn't really have the intention of trying to get the problem solved before the weekend. -The man promised to schedule me in for Monday and told me to expect a phone call early Monday. I got no call, so I called them. I was, in fact, not on the schedule at all, and the lady said they could get me in by Wednesday. In the meantime, our house is at 99 degrees and they expect us to be happy to just keep waiting. Then after the initial visit to clean the system on Wednesday, they were going to need 5 more days to get the supplies to change the compressor and then 2 more days to do "research." What? -Here's the real zinger! The man assessed that our system needed to be cleaned, for $1,100 and then that a completely new compressor needed to be installed (who knows how much that would have cost). We were skeptical, so we called another comapny, Segura AC- He showed up the same day, and fixed the problem in 30 minutes for $157... the system did not need to be cleaned and the compressor as a whole was fine- only the capacitor (small part) needed to be replaced. So, even though the man was nice, we were about to get totally ripped off, and go for 2 weeks without AC in Texas summer... read more

The only reason why I am giving them one star is because I have to. This is the most unprofessional business I have ever done business with. Not only are the receptionist rude (except for Ashley) the owner is rude and unprofessional, he and his technicians gave incorrect information to me the homeowner and then tried to argue with me about it....unacceptable! Oh BTW they were supposed to get a quote from my homeowners warranty company and never did but tried to quote me $2500 for work to be completed, needless to say I requested to use another company and will tell anyone who will listen about this company.....DO NOT USE THEM! read more

We use Jason's Air Tex Services because our home warranty called them when we moved into a 30 year old home, with 2 a/c's that were pretty worn out. The first only needed a compressor but the 2nd needed a lot of TLC. They have been here a few times now for the a/c and found some of our air intakes were not connected; took care of that too. We hoped we didn't need a new a/c but this year it was time to get a more efficient unit. I trust them. That is about as good as it gets there is no getting around a/c in this state. You have to find someone you can rely on when things go wrong. They are very good at coming over within 48 hours of a call especially in the summer time. The girls in the office are always friendly and its like talking to a friend rather than office staff. So yes, we are fans. read more

Very satisfied with these guys. They were referred by my home warranty company. James came out within the promised time to figure out what was wrong with my AC. He was very friendly & polite. He determined my compressor was locked up & needed to be replaced. He offered to check with warranty co. To determine cost of upgrade versus just replacement since unit is 24 yrs old. Ashley & Lindsey made friendly calls from the office to give me updates & appt. times. Anthony & his crew came out to do the upgrade on time, were very polite & did a great job of cleaning up after. My only concern is they really only offer Goodman products. Not that familiar with brand but it's made in Texas & has a 10 yr warranty, so we'll see. If you don't mind the lack of choice on product I would definitely recommend them. They pay attention to the required min airflow values & work diligently to exceed them. read more

My home warranty company referred me to Jason. His company isn't the most expensive but it's also not the cheapest. (Note: Be careful going with a cheap A/C company.) The first specialist, Michael, quickly diagnosed the problem with my furnace. Michael was very professional and took the time to explain my options. I had to discuss the pricing with Jason but we were able to come to agreement fairly easily. Jason sent out two technicians the next morning (on a Saturday!). They were both very professional and went the extra step to put the new furnace in right, and I could tell it was a difficult installation. I will definitely be referring Jason and his company to others. read more

Score another perfect 10 for Jason's Air-Tex. We called New Year's night, 9pm, and left the message with our warranty service. Jason's called us promptly at 7:30 the next morning to say we were scheduled in the 11-1 slot if that would be convenient. We agreed and at 10:45, Michael from Air-Tex called to say he was en route. Since we were already out of town, on the road, we instructed him to go next door to our neighbor who had agreed to receive the call. He arrived at 11:15, called us at 12:30, and reported he had fixed and tested our finicky furnace, all sight unseen, and all for the fixed price of our service co-pay. Jason's has been outstanding now on the four service occasions and the one installation/replacement event we've had since moving into our house in 2018. This time, they impressed our neighbor enough to become their choice for service as well. If there was a higher rating available, we'd give it to them. Thanks again, Jason's and Michael! read more

History

Established in 2014.

In September 2014 I was living what I thought to be the "dream". I loved my job at another A/C company and had plans to take over the company I was working at when the owner retired. I had been in the industry 15+ years and knew it's what I wanted to do the rest of my life. The day after Labor day 2014 I got a call, my boss/the owner of my company suddenly and unexpectedly passed away. He was not only the owner and the best boss I ever had but a great friend of mine. I was crushed over losing him. It crushed me even more when I found out the business would be closed and I would not be given the option to purchase. After trying my hardest to acquire the business I came to the realization I would have to start from the ground up and build. We opened our doors in October 2014 and haven't looked back, hope Stan is proud. I am very passionate about the HVAC industry and take pride in my work.

I've got over 20 years experience in the air conditioning and heating industry. On top of the hands on experience I've acquired over the last 20 years I attended and graduated trade school for the HVAC industry, I've also attended numerous training courses and am EPA certified. I love what I do and consider myself an expert at it. I've yet to run across a problem I could not fix. I often work long hard hours and don't mind because I'm here for my customers. When I'm not working I'm spending time with my family. I'm happily married and have been for 14 years. My wife, Krystie, and I have 2 young children. I work hard to make sure they are well taken care of.

Sadly, the owner of Nick's passed away and this company is now owned by Dunrite. I called that company based on the reviews of Nick's Air Services, but their services has definitely NOT been the same as mentioned on this profile. In summary, this company is expensive, can make improper recommendations, and the office is very difficult to get anyone to call you back. I absolutely would not use them again in the future and - had I read their Yelp profile for Dunrite Heating & Cooling - would never have called them in the first place. My experience: My air conditioning due to leaked refrigerant due to another HVAC technician not correct. Nick's/Dunrite came out during the same day and quickly identified the problem. There was a leak on the schrader valve. They got us back to running - for nearly $200/per pound of refrigerant. 5 lbs = about $1,000. Wow, but we had no choice as my original installer was not available. Our unit has not been keeping up with the 90s for the past two months and the technician recommended 3 different options. I chose 2 of the 3 options: a larger return air duct AND repairing the plenum. I was anxious to get the work scheduled and it took me hounding them to get them to schedule the work. Communicating with this office was very painful. I would never get calls back and would just get a text message indicating when they had scheduled the appointment. Their front desk support was exceedingly helpful but not empowered to do anything besides schedule appointments and pass along info. I finally had the appointment and the technician went to the wrong address. I got a call from them saying they had been at my house and then they proceeded to the next job. I spoke to them and learned they were at the wrong house, but could not turn around to go back to my house. I had to wait until the following week to get the appointment rescheduled. What a disaster. It got worse. The work was finally done - the return air duct and the plenum. I waited a couple of days, but there was NO change in the air conditioning. I called them back again and they scheduled another technician to come out. The second technician came out, a more senior technician, who confirmed that the unit was undersized and "working as it was designed" to cool at 75-76. I don't know a single person who is comfortable with 75-76 in the house when the outside is in the 90s. I called customer service again. When I finally got someone, I got a call from William, who is their most senior technician (an older guys in his late-50s probably). He came out with the original technical and instructed him how to properly do a heat load calculation. They determined indeed the unit is undersized and I needed a 3 ton. I called back the customer service asking for a refund to the work. I've called at least 3-4 times, each time speaking with a very nice person. However, I've still not been called back. What a disaster. I've finally had to resort to filing a complaint with my credit card and disputing it through them. It's unfortunate and I didn't want to have to do this, but - when no one will call you back - it's very very hard to trust this company to make things right.

I called them and the soonest they could see me was Monday. I wound up on Yelp. I contacted a different HVAC company on Yelp but Yelp sent my information out, and Alan with HM Tech responded. Meanwhile I was reading a lot of reviews and getting a lot of answering machines and "see you Monday" appointment calls. As my inside temperature kept rising, I finally called Alan back, told him my problem, and asked how much a service call was and when he could be at my house. He told me the service call was $85 and said he could be here in a couple of hours (again, on a Saturday). He was here just about exactly when he said he would be, and he went right to work outside. By then my temperature inside was at 86 degrees. After maybe 20-30 minutes, Alan said that the fan capacitor and the compressor capacitor were both out and would need to be replaced. I asked him what that meant, if he had them, etc. He said yes and gave me a quote. I gladly approved the work. By about 3 o'clock, maybe a minute or two after, the work was complete. The invoice including his service call fee was under $400. (Again - on a Saturday.) While I don't wish for more HVAC problems, it's good to know I'll be able to rely on someone who is , honest, responsive, and very professional. I enthusiastically recommend Al's work!

I came home Friday Afternoon (10APR26) to find a puddle forming in my garage. My water heater of…read moreover 16 years had finally given out. To Rescue Air's credit, they had been warning us each time they came out for HVAC Filter rotations. Thankfully, Rescue Air's ace plumbing expert Mr. Phillip Blystone was dispatched to my home to assess the situation. Within minutes he identified the issue and immediately started to work out a plan and arrangement my family could manage to cover the expense of the Water Heater replacement: the source of the leaking problem. Rescue Air has a very long history of working with my family since we've been in this home (2016), so that level of service is a given these days. But that's not the complete reason for the 5-Star rating. The next day, now with a working heater, my wife and I discovered that a leak was still present in the Garage. Upon calling Rescue Air to let them know what was going on, Mr. Blystone responded swiftly to our location to triage the leak. Using both his advanced equipment and intuition, he found that in spite of the solid repair and replace he and his team performed of the water heater, a leak was sadly missed during the initial assessment. Most other business would likely have tacked on a "not-our-problem" sort of response to this. However, Mr. Blystone and by extension Rescue Air are not your normal type of company. With careful consideration of the economic circumstance of the recent repair & purchase, balancing years of customer loyalty and being a genuinely saint, Mr. Blystone proceeded to isolate and resolve the leak (a small puncture hole in the T-pipe hot-water line leading from the heater) pro-gratis. Completely unexpected, but definitely much appreciated! It goes without saying it would be extremely foolish for my family to consider doing business with anyone else in the Dallas Metro given Rescue Air's track record with our family. The value lost would be far too great. While I hope to not need their services as often as recently, I definitely look forward to working with them and Mr. Blystone should the need arise again.

I hired Rescue Air & Plumbing in 2023 for routine maintenance on the original AC in our home. What…read moreshould have been a simple visit turned into high pressure sales tactics. They claimed safety issues, pushed contracts in front of me, and scheduled installation for the next day. I tried to cancel but was told I was locked in. I ended up spending around $30,000. After the installation, every maintenance visit came with aggressive attempts to sell me more services I did not need. Then the new system failed in 106 degree heat. The compressor failed at only 16 months old. Communication was poor, and I was left without AC for about seven days. I had to repeatedly chase them for updates. They did not have the part, did not follow up, and someone finally arrived at 10:30 PM after days of waiting. They gave me a two year complimentary membership as compensation. I assumed the membership would end after the two free years. My card on file had expired, yet in May and June 2026 the company suddenly began charging me again. This suggests someone manually updated my card information without my permission. I never authorized a renewal, never received a renewal notice, and never received invoices for any charges. They refunded the charges I caught, but then claimed I owed $95.80 for four months of fees that were never billed and never agreed to. I asked for written confirmation of a zero balance and never received a direct response. They only responded to the BBB and stated the account was at zero. Based on my experience with both service and billing, I strongly recommend being cautious before using this company.

First of all, I wish that Scott Reynolds with Jason's Air-Tex Services came out to my house when I first realized that I was having issues with a leaking air handler over Memorial Day weekend!! This was an issue that had me stressed for a month straight. The first company that came out only wanted to put in freon and leave and said I had no issue. When I called my warranty company again, they sent out another company who said my air handler was out on June 2nd. The second company finally replaced my air handler on June 27th, but they were not able to get my AC to work at all. They had a guy that was trying to re-wire all of my wires, but all he did was mess things up more. We had to get a hotel room for 5 total nights due to no AC. I called the warranty company to cancel the second company and to send someone else. They sent us a life saver by having us serviced by Jason's Air-Tex Services. Ashley promised that she would call between 8 am and 9 am to let me know my service window and she kept her word! She also called me when the technician was in route to me. She's very pleasant and sweet! Now, Scott Reynolds is our guardian angel! I was afraid with all the crap the other company did, no one will be able to restore our AC, but Scott was barely at my house for 15 minutes and he knew EXACTLY what needed to be redone. He corrected the crappy wiring that the other company did and he was able to get our AC back up and running. He got our zoning board back on line (and to think, the other company was going to charge me for a zoning board!!). Scott was so detailed when he was fixing and restoring our AC to ensure that everything was working as it should. He was very, very confident about what needed to be fixed to our unit and he fixed it! He's a hard worker, very knowledgeable and you can tell that he loves his work. No wonder he's been doing this for 25 years! He even called the warranty company to let them know what he had to fix from the other company to have it on record for himself and for us. I would definitely recommend Scott and Jason's Air-Tex Services. In fact, my aunt's AC unit went out and I will be calling her to refer this company. ******Update. The very next morning I received a call from Scott checking on our AC and if It cooled down for us last night. I was very impressed to get that call. I've never had a technician call me the next day to check on things with me. That was the coolest gesture!!! Thank you so much, Scott! You really care about your customers!!!! read more

We've had Jason's come out on warranty a/c repairs on 2 occasions. First time we were very pleased. On the 2nd repair the warranty co sent out Oakpoint A/C heating. Tech was here 5 minutes , declared compressor needs replacement, wait 7-10 days for part. After much conversation and hassle and run around tech came out 15 days later and required $365 CASH OR MONEY ORDER to him in addition to initial $75 deductible we had paid. Warranty co okayed sending him on his way and calling out Jason's Air Tex. It was 2 wires corroded and was cooling before the tech Michael left. We are diehard Jason's Air Tex with tech Michael fans. We contracted Jason's to do seasonal maintenance on our unit from now on. They are highly recommended by me and mine. read more

Well to start the tech never called before arriving. When he did arrive he was almost 2 hours late. Then he proceeded to blow nitrogen down the drain line that pretty much did nothing because he missed an abandoned line that was never capped. All for the price of $190. After he was done he told us the a.c. was all fixed and we could turn the a.c. on again. Since the house was hot we left for a little over an hour only to find the leak from the drain line was worse. It took me going into the attic to find what the licensed tech missed. Now we wait for him to either fix what he was paid to or I fix it for him. This company is awesome. They just repaired two systems at my business. I obtained multiple quotes and theirs by far was very reasonable. They made all the repairs within two hours, Installer/repairman were incredible. They explained everything to me that was wrong and actually told me that I did not need more than the last quote that I received. Honesty is so important!!! They saved me thousands of dollars today!! Our system broke on Thanksgiving. We called our warranty company who set us up with these guys. We left a message on their voicemail yesterday evening. They called us back before we were awake & instead of them blowing us off they got our info from the warranty company & came out to fix the system. I've had repairs through the warranty before & usually repair companies take about a week to finish the job, with reports & the whole process. Jason Air-Tex came out one time & it was fixed before they left. These guys don't bs. I'd be calling them even if I didn't have a warranty. read more

I used their services per a recommendation and im happy i did. I have used their services twice. Their techs are always polite and knowledgeable. I had 2 techs working on my unit and they didnt stop until the job was done. Even though my "emergency" situation might have not seemed so urgent to others, i had a sick baby and needed services asap. They arrived before the time frame given. I was extremely thankful. Satisfied Customer !! This past Summer my Ac went out in our new home that we had just purchased . I came across Jason's air techs and gave them a call . I was certain no one would come out as it was late in the evening when it went out but to my surprise the staff was friendly and assured me that a tech would be sent out immediately. The tech showed up in no time and was very professional and knowledgeable. He had our ac up and running in a matter of about 30 mins and needless to say I was one happy camper . Thank you for a job well done. Lindsey was on top of things and very accommodating and personable. Jason (little) came out last Monday and diagnosed the problem. He then spent over an hour with the warranty company to make sure everything was covered and organized. Marcial and his partner came out today and installed the new unit. Excellent service and a very professional company. I had an emergency situation with my heat and the office squeezed me on schedule the same day. Office staff is very friendly on the phone and the Tech who came out, which I believe his name was Michael, explained everything in terms I could understand so that I knew everything going on. If we could rate them higher we would. James came to the rescue extremely fast. No waiting and waiting wondering when or if they would show up. It was well over 100 degrees and we had no air conditioning. He had it fixed in 30 minutes. No attempt to upsell. He explained what the problem was and how he fixed it. We can't make everyone happy I realize that. But we try our best. Some people have a warranty company. It can takes 3-5 business days before equipment is paid for and ordered which is out of my hands also they won't order or allow repair of equipment has no t been maintained. Don't forget to service your equipment. Service equipment 2 times a year. And remember to change your filters. read more

I was recommend by a friend to call this company when I had absolutely no heat. With me being a little further out I was impressed that they got to me the same day. The tech was great. He explained to me what was going on and what needed to be replaced with the cost before moving on with the repair. Very reasonable prices and great customer service.
