Our A/C system went out, we called a company that we had used before. The guy came out the next day to look at it, he told me the fan motor was out and that he could replace it for $1800, or I could replace the whole Lennox system for $8,100. Regardless they were too booked up to do it for at least two days.. So I called a few family members and I was referred to Green Leaf Air. I gave them a call and I spoke with Ben, I told him what was going on, and he asked me to send pictures of my system. I sent them, and he explained that that particular system was not at all worth $8100. Ben explained that I was being completely ripped off. He said right over the phone that I could have a brand new Ameristar system installed for $3700, and they could come and install it that day. Two hours later the sweetest A/C guys were out at our house, installing the brand new Ameristar. I am still amazed at the honesty and integrity of this company and their employees.. We are SO grateful for this referral. I have never dealt with an A/C company like this, they didn't trick me into ANY hidden costs, or even try to sell me something.. Ben simply told me the price, my husband and I immediately agreed. The installation was quick, and the price was the LOWEST price I can find for a brand new complete Ameristar A/C system. I really like working with Green Leaf Air. They have done an absolutely wonderful job fixing the A/C System at my home in Plano TX! I've been using Green Leaf Air for several years now, and this time I needed the "whopper service"! I knew it was coming, but postponed it as much as possible. After calling them, they dispatched a technician to my home, very quickly inspected, temporarily fixed the A/C system in the middle of a heat wave in Dallas before the weekend started (of course...!), and scheduled the bigger repairs at a later date. All work is complete now, and the A/C system is up and running at full capacity. Their service exceeded my expectations. The entire team at Green Leaf Air TX is amazing: Ben, Rick, Isaac and everyone else behind-the-scenes that are making things happen. It couldn't have gone much better. It's the best contactor experience I've ever had. Description of work: My 20 year old system went out. I needed something quickly, but to my surprise found that it was almost like buying a car. I got four estimates, 3 were around the same price, but Green Leaf Air was much cheaper. This was a red flag at first because I was skeptical that I would get a good installation and get everything I was promised. The unit was installed in 6 hours the next day. The crew with Rick, Juan ,and Carlos were awesome. They were right on time, they worked quietly, neatly, and the job looks fantastic. Also, I got a 16 seer unit whereas the others were offering a 14 seer. The warranty equaled the other higher bids.. It has only been two days, but the unit runs quietly and runs half as much as my old unit. I wish I had done this a few years ago. I feel so lucky that I found Green Leaf Air. I feel like I robbed a bank or something. I have only written a couple of other reviews in my life, but I feel so strongly about this experience that I wanted to share it. Yelp, please post my review online. My wife and I wanted to replace our AC unit and made a decision to also change the furnace at the same time. The price seemed good at GLA, however this company has been nothing but a headache to deal with. This installation was done in Aug 2021.The installer had attitude problem and continued installation in the rain. I am not sure if the refrigerant full. Also the installer after we complained not installing the unit correctly would show up to the house and entered property without our knowledge. GLA was to provide a system check for us this March and I am not able to get a hold of them. The inspector did not pass the installation due to few issues. Somehow two months later the inspection was passed without the inspector checking the unit in my attic. I ca not have GLA answer my calls to correct the mess they performed during the initial installation. I am not sure if GLA is still in business as they do not answer my calls/emails. I have reached out to Trane to recommend a new inspector/installer to correct the errors of GLA installation. read more

I DEFINITELY recommend contacting Rick if you have any issues with your AC or Heating. Rick and his team have been very professional and responsive. We had to replace 2 x very old HVAC systems that stopped working within weeks of each other and couldn't be fixed according to 5 different companies. Rick offered the best value for 2 x Trane 16 SEER HVAC units which he was able to quickly find & install during 100 degree weather. Several of the other companies were on a 2 month wait due to shortages caused by this pandemic and were so much more expensive for the same value. Rick's team was organized, efficient, wore shoe covers/masks and lay down cloth so they did not ruin our carpet or wooden floors. The cost was itemized on our invoice before installation so they were no "hidden fees" after which was excellent because I truly value transparency. read more

I called them monday morning and they said they can come and check my heating unit as soon as possible. I thought it'll be next the next day. But they called around 3 in the afternoon and asked if I was home. They came to check my furnace the same day. Didn't charge me anything for the check up since it was a minor problem with the ignitor. However, they looked at my air ducts after I told them about the smell. Turns out my air ducts needed cleaning ASAP. I asked for them a night to think over and to get a second opinion. After i made some quick calls, I realized their estimate was fair and besides, they were closer to my home. So I asked them to send guys the next day to clean up my ducts. I contacted Green leaf air when my A/C stopped working. It was extremely hot, but they came to my house a few hours after I called and inspected the A/C system. The very next day they installed a new unit for a MUCH lower price, than what the other companies were offering me.
