Decided to take off my gutters as a major pain trying to get anyone to clean them and I'm too old for that stuff. Probably asked a thousand questions and was a real pest. They had done a friends house with no problems there. They were not the highest. They were not the lowest. They were open to me exploring options and what ifs. So signed a contract and San Antonio had almost constant rain so I had quite a wait. Which made me think of even more questions. But finally got a couple of rain free days during the week. They tore off and repaired one day and fashioned new heavier shingles the next. Had a lot of concealed damage on the roof deck. They had photos of the area needing replacement. I had decided to go with a higher rated shingle a 3 for hail and a 130 mile wind in hopes of an extra discount on my insurance. Also peace of mind. Roof repairs are not fun. Changed back to turbines since I've had racoons in my attic via vents before. They even put extra screening on my turbines for my peace of mind. Also got the shingles from the coast as that color and style aren't usually used here. I was like a chicken with its head cut off and they were both patient and helpful throughout. It looks great!
