My migraines have been out of control lately so two weeks ago I made a couple urgent mobile health appointments. 1: I just got a call today, the day before my appointment, that they don't do migraine infusions at home. Even though it clearly states they do it on their website. I made the appointment two weeks ago. I even called them last week to let them know I have two insurances and gave them that information. So the fact that they waited until the day before to cancel my appointments is so frustrating on multiple levels. 2: They need to stop calling themselves 'urgent' medicine. They are not urgent. Their appointments are at least a week out if not 1.5-2 weeks out. I'm really upset by this experience. Especially when I was counting on those migraine infusions which I need in between my infusions I get at the hospital. Horrible business ethics.

You go into this stand up pod and it fills up with cold air. This cryogenic bath helps with inflammation and helps your skin to produce more collagen. My session was a PBM (aka Red Light Therapy). You stand in between two slabs of red lights. Completely safe to look at. Warms up a light. Helps with insomnia, sex drive, mental clarity. I was in there for 12 minutes...you get a bit warm, not sweaty like if you say in a dry sauna. My daughter, husband and I did the Stretch!! OMG...it was amazing. Before doing the stretch with Jeff, I was having lower back pain. After 15 minutes with Jeff - my lower back pain gone. Felt absolutely terrific. It took me a long time to decide to receive help because I thought I could struggle through all the changes I was noticing physically and mentally as naturally occurring life cycles, but after some research and some prayers I decided I wanted to fight for my health. I talked to my PCP and listened to some friends on HRT and started my search. My first inquiry was just a phone call with a breakdown of what becoming a patient looks like and it contained pricing and visit expectations. It is not cheap, but it is the best money I have spent on myself, maybe ever. The first actual exam contained a lab draw, body scan, VS, and a lengthy screening exam to cover alllll of the things I had been noticing. Second visit was a review of labs and another lengthy discussion about treatment recommendations and options. Megan treated me as a unique female with specific goals, and gave me recommendations to help me get back to my normal baseline before perimenopause started really affecting my mood and energy levels. I have never felt like she is treating my symptoms generically with a "one size fits all approach." She adjust meds to my symptoms, repeats labs for efficacy of treatment in conjunction with how I'm feeling, and he's been supportive and encouraging throughout. I had a lot of fear about starting HRT and she talked with me about all of it, providing knowledge and evidence based practice techniques. It's been several months and two dose adjustments and I feel like I am back to myself with my mood, my energy, my strength in workouts, my sleep, and just my overall enjoyment of daily life. I didn't realize how badly I was feeling until it got a little too dark. I didn't realize how long it was declining until I started on HRT and felt it all come back. I don't have the words to express how happy I am feeling like myself again. Indeed, it does appear that the facility main focus is on medical spa, aesthetics, weight loss and women's health. "Family medicine" is not really the main practice. I agree in that the staff and provider are nice but you don't go to a provider's office because they are nice, but mainly to get your medical needs addressed. I do not believe this practice are professional or competent enough in the healthcare field. 1) the practice engages in questionable medical practices such as IV infusions for whatever reason: https://208medsolutions.com/iv-infusions/ There has to be a medical diagnosis/condition for infusions. You just don't advertise infusing whatever to keep people energized, hydrated, feeling well, or an alternative to ingesting those needed vitamins/supplements via oral route because it's faster. 2) it appears that the practice caters to the vulnerability of women wanting to look more attractive and feeling better about themselves. 3) the receptionist is providing medical advice. I was only seen once for a wellness which normally requires fasting labs. She told me I didn't need to be fasting. The NP did the standard labs and not being fasting affects the lab values and not getting accurate results. The NP knew I wasn't fasting but didn't care. cholesterol number were high as a result. Later the receptionist told me over the phone that some numbers were high and needed treatment despite never actually receiving the result interpretation from the provider herself. 4) an entire month passed and I never got the results interpreted from labs so I don't know what if any follow up is needed. Even worse is the fact I wrote several messages regarding labs posted on the portal but the provider never responded. The day of the wellness she found an ear infection and prescribed antibiotics but there wasn't any follow up to make sure the infection cleared. I had COVID but apparently that also did not warrant any follow up. There is no communication from provider but I believe that this is mostly down to a nurse practitioner who isn't very competent and whose questionable medical practices is catered to women's beauty. In short, I will not recommend this facility. The IV infusion I got consist of vitamins A,B & C which help with healing and hydration. It was the boost I needed! I felt so much better before I even left her office.
