I shop there often with my son, and I still use the stroller since we're in a pandemic and I don't want him to get the germs from the grocery cart. So I carry all of my groceries in the stroller and in 2 recyclable bags. That particular day that I was there Darla did not allow me to take the grocery cart that she had sitting next to her to push over to the side and pack my groceries (most of the other employees always allow me to do that). She made me stand there in front of a line full of people and pack all my groceries right there at the cash register using paper brown bags (which is very hard to do since there is no way to carry brown bags with your hands). So I was trying to hold bags in my arms, pack groceries, as well as push the stroller, and make the purchase. She was very rude and had no mercy and just sat there and stared at me. The lady behind me had no mercy either and was upset that I was taking so long. I guess nobody cares about mothers and babies anymore. It was very embarrassing. Not sure if it was because I am black and look poor or what, but I am not. I am just a SAHM. I am educated and can make VERY GOOD money when I need to. I'm a licensed white collar professional that works in healthcare. I will be telling everybody that I know to not shop there. Including the Facebook groups that I'm apart of with thousands of people in them. I would rather go to Kroger or Publix where the customer service is better or I scan my own groceries. There is also another rude young blonde up front (she's a little new) that got upset that I asked her to allow me to watch my groceries being scanned so I could see the prices. Sometimes they ring up wrong so I like to make sure I am not overpaying. But she had an attitude as well. Goodbye Aldi and good riddance until you get self scan checkouts.

Somehow, I remembered that I would need to bring my medications with me but at the last minute when it was time to put them into the bag, I forgot. So now I'm off on a two week road trip and I'm going to be without my prescription. Publix to the rescue! I stopped in here, told the nice young lady my story, and she punched a few keys on the computer. Lo and behold, my prescription is available to be renewed here and transferred from my regular Publix back in Charlotte. Bada bing, bada boom, I got a text message a few minutes later that it was ready to be picked up. I hadn't even finished my shop at this point. That's service! Pleasant, efficient, friendly. The cashier had bumped her phone or something and I think it might have broke her case. So for a few minutes, she talked about that while I said they're waiting to be rung up and acknowledged. Finally the lady at the register next to her said hey, you have a customer waiting on you, which was me standing there just waiting to be acknowledged. And she kept talking, the guy that was bagging the groceries seem to be a manager and they were just both talking about her, breaking her phone case or whatever. I spoke to her because it did not seem like she was going to speak to me which she still didn't. So she rang me up And didn't tell me what my total was just stood there, so I looked at the screen to see what my total was and checked out. No one said thank you. No one was nice. Customer service was awful. This is not a grocery store that I frequent often but it is on my way home and not far from my house so I will stop in to get things periodically. but the customer service is never really that great.

I say...it depends on what you need, and it depends on when you do your shopping. Since I work from home, going to my local Kroger at 10:30am midweek is not a problem. I get first dibs on all the fresh produce, and if I want a rotisserie chicken, I know they're coming out fresh at 11:00am. I haven't had any issues with cleanliness here. Only once or twice were some of the produce mislabeled or put in the wrong area (it's understandable...a lot of peppers look alike), but I've never had any major issues with freshness. Their meats are fairly priced and of decent quality. Compared to Publix, this Kroger is a bit cheaper, so unless there is something specific my wife wants from the Publix down the road, I'm coming here. The employees have all been very courteous and helpful. Be careful in the parking lot...it can get busy and people aren't always alert. Have a great day!

The deli is decently staffed which helps the lines to move more efficiently. The produce and meats are always fresh, which is why Publix is known for being on the pricier side of things. It's always good to check for weekly specials because it is possible to shop here on a budget. I've always had good interactions with the employees at this location. I like using the self checkout, and whenever I have an issue, someone helps me get it resolved in under 30 seconds.
