Latest experience with family dog with immediate heath concerns . Arrived 7 am , due to another family health issue , left pet for drop off visit when Dr Mohammed was available to treat our dog . Kim the manager was very helpful and understanding. Tech jasmine spent time thoroughly explaining issues , options , health history , and medical information . Dr Smith called to explain the situation ,outcome ,& pickup time . Ty tech staff helped me load the big dog in my truck for safety . This is the second family dog who visits this practice for over 10 years or more. First dog was boarded there also with comforting care . Words cannot express our/my thanks for the professional caring doctors, techs , & staff , Grateful ! The office is very clean , modern , and designed to have space and sitting room in lobby . Trust Ingleside animal hospital for your loved family pet . Please note this office is in Phoenix , Az not Tucson .

Had a wonderful experience with Dr. Brown for my puppy's spay procedure. She was kind, knowledgeable, and easy to communicate with throughout my past few visits at Ingleside. Thank you for your caring service and for taking care of Eevee.

My senior dog had a seizure, I called in asking if there was anyway they could get us in, after a maybe 30 second hold they said come in now. Get there and straight to an exam room, the vet tech and Dr.Molly (I think) we're absolutely some of the kindest and most caring people I've ever met in the almost 15 years I've had my girl. They not only took great care of her but calmed me down and educated me on everything to do in case she had another seizure! I cannot express enough how much this meant to me, and for them to take us in on an emergency basis speaks absolute volumes about the clinic they are! This will now be our vet, and I would recommend them to anyone I know!

Highly recommend. They were able to get me in same day, which is unheard of in so many vet offices these days. The clinic itself is very nice and clean. The front desk staff and the tech were super nice as well. My dog saw Dr. Serbin for an ear issue. He was great, informative, and not in a rush at all which I really appreciated. The whole visit took me about 40 minutes and there was no upsell whatsoever. I will probably be switching to this vet permanently. I especially like that they are open every day.

Ear examination information from new vet

My concern was not the deposit at all, I explained my frequent no shows and cancellations were due to me relocating to Florence. Also, she did not place the cone on him ...she handed it to me after jumping each time my dog moved and told me how to put it on him. My follow up was 48 hours later and I said he was adjusting to the cone well but it was too soon to see any updates to his eyes or ears, which were never examined, swabbed or anything. I visited another vet as mentioned where they actually put in the work and effort to find out exactly what was wrong with my dog and treat him for that specific issue instead of being so money hungry and just collecting a payment to say "give him Zyrtec and put this cone on him" Thank you for the well wishes though, we have found a REAL veterinary office that truly cares for animals and I couldn't be more grateful.

    Potato getting checked in

Took my Rabbit to get spayed by Dr. Serbin. He was very knowledgeable and caring about my pet. When she wouldn't eat for over 24hrs Dr. Serbin made time in his schedule that day to see her and give her fluids. She is now doing much better every day. I appreciate Dr. Serbin checking in on us and giving me peace of mind while I was worried. Would definitely recommend for spaying of rabbits.

I chose this place because my sister recommended it. I moved to phoenix a year ago and this place seemed okay at first. But I tried to order heartworm prevention for my dog and they denied it. I called to ask why and they said it was because her heartworm test was not done along with her yearly exam and shots. The receptionist also told me that this clinic doesn't recommend their patients (dogs) any preventative medication and that I would have to separately request a heartworm test. This was news to me because my appointment last year they did everything- the yearly exam, shots, and heartworm test in one go. I ordered my dogs heartworm and flea and tick in a bundle to save money. Because they denied it I now have to pay one hundred dollars more for the medicine out of the bundle price or try to return and rebuy it. I don't understand why they did the test last year (I did NOT request it vets just always do it) and also what kind of vet "doesn't recommend/require" preventatives?? Honestly this has all been such a hassle for no reason. Also the location appears to be in an unsafe area. All the more reason for me to find a vet 5 minutes away from my home instead of 30 minutes away. I only have to come back because of their puppy package that I prepaid ahead of time and now wish I didn't. Only one more vet visit until we don't have to come here ever again!! Please just save yourself the trouble of this places disorganization, and excuses trying to cover up their mistakes. "This vet doesn't recommend preventatives so we don't normally run heartworm/preventative tests??" COME ON. I also blame myself for trusting them. I did not think I would have to double check that they have done their job but that is my fault for being too lax- always double check!! Also as a vet that DOESNT RECCOMMEND/REQUIRE PREVENTION maybe don't list it on your website that you specialize in this area. I have added the photo from their website below

Took him to another emergency clinic close by and everything seemed fine. A few days later, he was acting off and took him back to that clinic and he was out on some pain meds for some spinal tenderness. Neither the emergency clinic or I noticed (even after examining him pretty thoroughly) that he had a puncture wound on the side of his jaw. Long story short, went back to that clinic today because I found him soaked in a weird bloody liquid oozing from his face and it was going to be a 4 hour wait. Figured I'd call VEG and see what their wait was and they told me to come right in and they would take care of him. Before I even got to the door, there was a VEG employee standing there to take us immediately back. I didn't even have time to look at the lobby... just straight back and immediately being looked at. Not going to lie, I didn't research VEG much since I was in immediate action mode... walking into the open concept emergency room was a little shocking. However, the care that the staff and doctors took was... beyond what I could have imagined. For what would be an agonizing amount of time where any other clinic would have taken him to the back, I was able to stay with him the entire time... even when they were working on him and cleaning up the wound I was holding him. While I don't want to say I loved the experience... I will say I loved the care and attention that every VEG employee showed. It was honestly worth every penny to bring him to VEG to be treated today. I felt like they really had his best interest at heart. I would highly recommend VEG to anyone who is in need of emergency care. The open concept can take a moment to get used to, but I think you'll find it to be far more comforting than if you were just left waiting somewhere while your pet was taken away from you. Thank you VEG. -Jonathan and Tannin

We had a virtual urgent care call and they were concerned enough that we brought him into The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic to check in on him. After an ultrasound, they found that he had a mass on his spleen and was internally bleeding, and had to go into immediate overnight emergency surgery. The surgery was successful, and after a 36 hour hospital stay, Barkley is back home and on the mend. While this was such a scary experience and few days, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about The Scottsdale Veterinary Clinic and their team. Unfortunately, my late, sweet angel of a Bichon Frise has recently passed, however it was extremely helpful to have brought her here to this facility to understand more in depth the severity of her medical issue. My dog sitter ended up taking my dog here one night while we were out of town to deal with her chronic vomiting. The vet caring for her that evening spoke with me directly over the phone to go over treatment options. I thoroughly appreciated her honesty. I ended up having to take my dog back here one night a few weeks later due to the vomiting starting up again and her primary vet also suggested what she's going through needs to be handled at an actual animal hospital. This second visit was just as efficient and also they were kind enough to waive certain fees due to us returning back to them in such a short amount of time. I also like the fact that we're able to use payment plan options via Affirm. That was extremely helpful for me during this previous emotionally tumultuous season. We initially called them when we were headed their way, to get their thoughts, and did appreciate them giving us some insight on the phone. We opted to stop in to be on the safe side. It was a bit quieter this time around, so we were able to get in a room right away and seen relatively quickly. It was a very much a "Got to rule out the options" type situation that required a bit more guesswork. Based on the initial intake, they recommended a blood panel, a SNAP panel (bloodwork specifically for ticks), X-rays and possible CT. We decided to start with the bloodwork, to minimize putting our dog through more procedures than necessary. They also have a relatively quick turn around time of 20-30 minutes for the results, making it easy to proceed if necessary. The tech we spoke with was nice, but a little brisk and not super helpful which inquiring on the next steps/options. She did mention a CT may be required and was helpful in getting prices and options for same day if needed. We did get the blood work results back, about an hour later, and Dr. Robinson came to speak with us, with a good news, bad news sitch. He had gotten an infection from a tick and his body was having trouble clotting and fighting it off, hence the nosebleed. She did a great job explaining and laying out all the details. Luckily, it was in the treatable phase and she ran through the prescriptions and care that would be required and let us know they would bring back the medication and Roni shortly. About an hour plus later...they bring him back, His nose had not stopped bleeding the entire time! Not their fault, it was uncontrollable, and they attempted, but was just not really treatable. We ended up spending about 4 1/2 hours there, most of that time which was not with our dog. All the initial exams and what not I understand, but getting the results and talking to the doctor, and still waiting another hour after the fact, seemed longer than necessary and we just felt bad for our pup, because we would have rather been with our dog waiting, then him in the back while waiting alone. A few other key details: It's $190 regardless for your pet to be examined, which you need to pay up front. Any other services, you pay for if you decide to proceed. They have two entrances, one for cats and one for dogs. it leads to the same space, but has separate sides to the same counter which is nice. The Dr recommended Nexgard (Tick treatment), which they do not have onsite, we had inquired if we could order from Chewy digitally, they said yes, but turns out they cannot. They do send home a paper prescription, but something to keep in mind or double check on. Overall, very grateful they figured out what was wrong and took care of him. The space was clean and staff was overall friendly. Their prices seem reasonable as well. A bit more communication would have been appreciated, especially regarding time, or at least updates so we knew he was okay and maybe a bit more guidance on what treatments make the most sense. They do a great job and though I hope you never need to go to the emergency vet, they are a great 24 hour accessible options.

When they brought him out, his foot was completely bloody and dripping with no bandage or covering. Blood was getting all over the lobby, our vehicle, and Gunner. We paid $2,000 for his care. I decided to reserve judgment and see if they would at least call the next day to check on him. They never did. In all my years of having dogs, I have never had a veterinary office fail to follow up after a procedure--even after routine vaccinations. After an emergency surgery and amputation, I expected at least a simple phone call. Thankfully, Gunner is doing well and recovering at home. But I am 150% disappointed with the lack of communication, compassion, and follow-up. If this hadn't been an emergency, I would have driven the extra five minutes to another clinic. **UPDATE -- Two Weeks Later** I wanted to update my original review because there have been some significant developments since I first shared our experience. The day after I posted my original negative review, I was only then contacted by the clinic to check on how Gunner was doing. Unfortunately, two weeks after Gunner's toe amputation, he developed postoperative complications that required another emergency veterinary visit at a different clinic. We ultimately spent more than $500 at that clinic for treatment, including additional medications, bandaging, and follow-up care. This brought our total expenses related to this ordeal to more than $2,400. After I requested reimbursement for the additional emergency care, I was contacted by management. During our conversation, she told me that she had reviewed the footage of Gunner being brought out to us after his surgery and agreed that the situation should have been handled differently. She acknowledged that we should have been taken into a room, that we should have been given better postoperative instructions, and that more time should have been spent with us rather than sending our still half-sedated dog out into the lobby with a bleeding surgical site. She also told me that, as a result, the clinic had changed its policy and would now begin calling emergency patients the following day rather than waiting two days to check on them\. I appreciate that the clinic recognized these issues and made changes. However, despite acknowledging that Gunner's discharge and postoperative care should have been handled differently, management offered to reimburse us only $200 of the additional veterinary expenses we incurred. I understand that complications can happen, and I have never claimed that the infection was definitively caused by the original surgery. My concern has always been the lack of appropriate postoperative care and followup after an amputation, and the fact that another veterinarian was concerned enough about Gunner's surgical site to provide additional treatment and followup that should have been addressed from the beginning. At this point, I am extremely disappointed with how this entire situation has been handled. We trusted this clinic with our dog's care during a terrifying emergency, spent more than $2,400 dealing with the injury and subsequent complications, and were ultimately left feeling that both Gunner and our family deserved better. I will not be returning to Gilbert Queen Creek Emergency Veterinary, and based on our experience, I cannot recommend this clinic to other pet owners.
