Listen, this place is a whole vibe! If you like karaoke, good energy, and good bar snacks this place is nice. I have the truffle fries which were great and the hot pink Margarita. Service is kinda "get on where you fit in" but the servers are nice.

I have not lived in Nashville for very long, but have not found any great food options since I have been here. Across the board. I don't even consider myself a "foodie" but I do travel ALOT, mostly, in US these days. FINALLY, my tastebuds have awoken! The WILD thing, it's at a dive bar recommended. It's on the weekend brunch menu, the Steak frites. Absolutely delicious! The steak was cooked PERFECTLY medium rare. Tender and juicy. Eggs epically over easy garnished with chives and my frites were crisp and tasty! The staff is friendly and helpful. I did get there right at 2:30pm, my first time there and they were willing to feed me brunch, still, which I thought was a wonderful and appreciated.

This is your corner neighborhood bar that also serves some interesting food. It's small & cozy and the workers are friendly and helpful. We stopped in for some adult beverages, it was within walking distance of where we were staying. We didn't try the food but I've posted the menu to look at. I'm sure we will be back, it's close and comfortable.

Stumbled upon this place one evening by friends taking me here and I have to say this was a really cool chill spot. Great spot to bring a date or hang with some friends and chit chat. The inside is small, used to be a restaurant back in the day but they do sell some small bites. We had a basket of fries and they were double crispy they tasted so good after a few drinks. The server was really nice , a young lady can't remember her name but she made our drinks good and I'm really glad we stopped here and indulged in a local atmosphere than the typical downtown vibes.

This is the perfect place to catch up and get a good drink. I tried both their espresso martini and pink margarita, and both were delicious! I also got their burger and fries. I think the burger was pretty good, but the fries were definitely overpriced. The interior of the place is beautiful with lots of fun design details, and the atmosphere is quite relaxing. The service was great! We ordered our food and drinks and they came out quickly.

Came here with a friend on a Friday night, and enter the bar before the sun went down so we were able to get a nice sitting area. Loved the music this bar played as it was throwback tunes. The vibe reminds me of 1970s decor. There isn't a server that comes to your table to take your order, so you do have to walk up to the bartender to place an order, which didn't bother me. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and fries, and I got the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The fries are incredibly delicious, with perfect seasoning, and the right amount of crisp. The grilled cheese was so delicious, as it's made on sourdough bread with a hint of sea salt on top. The tomato soup to dip it in was icing on the cake. The eclectic crowd and ambience is really welcoming. There's free parking outside around the building, and they have an all-inclusive sign by their entrance.

Hot pink margarita has a kick to it. SO good

First time going. It's real cute and quaint. We ordered the little Smokey, hot pink margarita and the rye back atcha(not sure if that's what it was called), old fashioned and a cheeseburger. The drinks were SO good. The cheeseburger was soooo good. My favorite drink was the little smokey the mezcal in it just really makes the drink. The bartenders were super cool. We will definitely return.

A cute place for date night as they play music, have delicous drinks, some bar food, and even some board games. I came here on a Monday night and it wasn't too busy. I ordered the classified painkiller, and it was so delicious but strong.

What they may not realize is that tucked inside this incredible resort is one of the finest old-school steakhouses in Nashville. Old Hickory Steakhouse exceeded every expectation. A group of us settled in for what turned into a leisurely four-and-a-half-hour dinner, and honestly, it never felt rushed. It was the kind of evening where conversation flowed, wine glasses stayed full, and every course gave us another reason to linger a little longer. The dining room has timeless steakhouse elegance. Crisp white tablecloths, attentive but unobtrusive service, and gorgeous views overlooking the resort's indoor gardens make it feel like you're dining in a hidden oasis rather than inside a convention hotel. And then there's the food... We ordered enough to experience nearly every corner of the menu. The bone-in ribeye was beautifully marbled with a deeply caramelized crust and that rich, buttery flavor ribeye lovers chase. The tomahawk was every bit the showstopper. Perfectly aged, sliced for sharing, incredibly tender, and cooked to a gorgeous medium-rare. It was one of those centerpieces that makes everyone at neighboring tables stop and look. The double-cut pork chop deserves its own applause. Thick, juicy, perfectly grilled, with just enough char to add smoky depth while staying remarkably moist. The filet was everything a filet should be--fork tender with an elegant sear. The scallops were another standout. Beautifully caramelized with a golden crust while remaining silky and sweet inside. They disappeared almost immediately. We also shared the steak tartare, which was expertly prepared and beautifully balanced, followed by an artisan cheese selection that made a wonderful transition before dessert. The sides easily hold their own. The lobster mac and cheese was unapologetically rich and creamy. The loaded baked potato arrived overflowing with all the classic steakhouse indulgence. The French onion soup was deeply savory beneath its bubbling blanket of beautifully browned cheese. Even the Caesar salad impressed, served with crisp whole romaine leaves generously dressed and finished with plenty of Parmesan. Fresh warm rolls with whipped butter started the evening exactly the way every great steakhouse should. Dessert somehow found room despite all of that. The coconut cake was enormous, impossibly moist, layered with coconut, and paired with vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. It's absolutely meant for sharing, although you may not want to. Service throughout the evening was polished, knowledgeable, and perfectly paced. No one hurried us despite the length of our dinner, and every course arrived with impeccable timing. Yes, it's a splurge. But restaurants like this aren't simply about eating dinner. They're about slowing down, celebrating, sharing stories, and remembering why classic steakhouses have endured for generations. If you're staying at the Gaylord Opryland, don't make the mistake of leaving the resort for dinner. One of Nashville's best dining experiences may already be waiting just steps from your room. Life is simply too short not to eat well and travel well. Old Hickory Steakhouse lets you do both.

We chose to go to The Library, which is located within The Old Hickory Steakhouse, simply because we liked the name -- we figured a bar called The Library would be quiet and chill, and it was. All the cocktails had literary names and puns, such as Life of Chai, Gift of a Magi, and Treasure Island. I ordered Fahrenheit 451 (Old Hickory bourbon, raw sugar, Regan's orange bitters, and cherrywood smoke -- they actually set the drink on fire so it would smoke), and my sister had Great Expectations (Zephyr gin, Italicus, lemon, pomegranete, simple syrup, and Zardetto Prosecco). We really enjoyed our drinks, and despite being pricy (drinks ranged from $15 to $18, which, while not cheap, is not higher than most places), we would liked to have stayed for another one, but unfortunately we only had time for one round. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable, the menu was fun, and the ambience was so cool and unique! It's sort of a circus theme, which we found very cool. Most of all, we came in with a pretty large group. This bar is definitely more of a small, intimate vibe, so I'm sure bringing in as many people as we did stressed the staff out a bit. But still, our server did so amazingly. I wish I got our servers name so we could commend her! We will definitely be returning- thank you Tiger Bar for an amazing experience!

Sadly, since the change in ownership, it seems to have gone downhill quickly. On our recent visits, they no longer had the ingredients needed to make many of the cocktails, the food has essentially disappeared from the menu--with only popcorn available--and the music was so painfully loud that we felt like we needed earplugs. What was once a unique destination now feels like just another bar on the Gallatin strip, which is really disappointing because the original Tiger Bar had so much character and potential. At this point, I would even suggest considering a name change. Many of the older, glowing reviews reflect the Tiger Bar that existed under the previous ownership and, unfortunately, don't represent the experience today. If it had not been for the kind staff (I counted only 3 which may explain why tables were sticky) I would give zero stars. Giving 2 stars because the staff was friendly and kind and seemed to be trying , the bar tender did attempt to offer drink suggestions. They are not the blame for downfall of a once cool bar and vibe.

Canvas is a mix of lounge, bar, club and patio...and I am here for it all. The vibe here is a bit different than the other "family" bars in town, and in a much better way in my opinion. The crowd is diverse, more respectful and less pretentious than you may get downtown. This goes for the bartenders and staff too. Drinks are fairly priced and always poured well. They have a good variety of bottled and canned cocktails/beverages as well, but the cocktails, especially their seasonal selections, are where it is at. While we have been known to belly up to the bar or grab a high top inside, the patio, which has evolved in the last year, is our favorite spot. It is open air but able to be temperature controlled, covered to keep you out of the rain or sun, and has enough seating for small or large groups. Inside the layout is standard with the bar, a few booths, lounge seating a dance floor and a stage...because why wouldn't there be a stage?! My only gripe with the full layout is there is no room for the bar to get backed up, it is basically two deep and then you have to move over. Not sure if there is a solve for that, but worth pointing out. However, even with this, the bartenders are always efficient and keep things moving so it doesn't get backed up for long. Canvas is becoming the anchor of the "gayborhood" in this area and since they moved in an LGBTQ+ center and clinic have taken up residence in the same plaza. The parking lot is also home to the cities only Gay Farmers Market, which is a fun place to wander around before or after popping into Canvas for a cocktail or three. Overall, cool to have Canvas in the neighborhood and really cool to see them thriving in such a good space!

A cozy place tucked and hidden in the heart of east Nashville. It is somewhat hidden with a small parking area but I was fortunate enough to get parking right in front. I walked in and the decor is pops of red and black mixed with gold. The light is dim so it's a perfect date night spot or place to meet and have an intimate small group gathering. It wasn't busy and I enjoyed that there wasn't too many people. The vibes are relaxed and I was greeted right away. Checking out the menu I decided on a spicy margarita concoction with tajin. The bartender brought it out and it was the perfect blend of flavor, spice and alcohol. It was refreshing and sweet/spicy. Perfect.
