I decided that she was worth the wait, and lo and behold, I got an appointment 1.5 weeks later! I LOVED HER! I REALLY like Dr. Roseborough. I've seen her several times and convinced my husband to switch dermatologists to also see Dr. Roseborough. She has great bedside manner and I feel that I could speak openly with her. I know she is very skilled and the treatment she has provided to both my husband and I has been excellent. My only problem is that it takes MONTHS to get in to see her. Even as an established patient. I don't know if the practice is pushing her to accept too many patients or what exactly the problem is but it's so frustrating. My husband had a severe poison oak reaction last week and I had to call multiple times and BEG for him to be seen the following day. This is not normal. What is the point of having an established doctor if you cannot get in to see them when you need them? I called today to make an appointment for myself and was quoted end of December, a full 8 weeks from today. That's unacceptable. Unfortunately we will be changing dermatologists. I wish Dr. Roseborough nothing but the best and hope that she can find a better way to navigate appointmenting. read more

Since my teenage years, I have seen 6 dermatologists for my acne / eczema combo. After seeing Dr. Roseborough first in February and for a follow-up appointment today, I can confidently say she is the BEST I have seen. Her advice is practical, tailored to what works best for my skin, and includes no selling of unnecessary products. I have struggled with acne for years, and after following Dr. Roseborough's advice to the letter, the stubborn acne has cleared up completely. When I came back for my follow-up, Dr. Roseborough did not just ask about how I was doing with the advice from my first appointment; she thoroughly looked over my face and asked if anything else was bothering me (there was some dry / flaky skin, and she gave me even more advice on how to deal with that). I am so impressed by Dr. Roseborough's issue-spotting ability - telling me about an issue that I had but did not know that I had and then telling me how easy it would be to take care of it! I feel so confident in her ability in diagnosing and treating me. On top of that, Dr. Roseborough has the kindest, warmest bedside manner of any doctor I have seen. She just makes you feel like you have her entire attention, she cares about you, listens and takes what you have to say into account in informing her diagnosis. Also, her assistant and front-office staff are great. It's a practice shared by a few dermatologists, I think. I had a bit of a timing mix-up for my follow-up, and even though the doctor was already running a bit behind on her afternoon appointments, they were able to squeeze me in. read more

I was startled to find that my struggles with acne started at age 36. I'm a nerd. I seriously used to not even wash my face at night (no makeup). I started with the basics of twice daily washing + moisturizer. Then I went through every possible combo of drugstore regimen. Then I moved to sephora-level products. And still, I suffered. After about a year and a half of feeling like I tried everything, I made an appointment. She prescribed me two topical treatments that have changed my life. I wasted so much time and energy on drugstore products that did not work. I feel silly for not consulting a derm earlier! Great bedside manner, knows her stuff. Love her! I know it's 9 because we gave up and I dropped him off. You made him sit there longer than that (did I mention he's an established patient?) and then said he had to reschedule because he was late. I have had only 1 limited exam/emergency visit. I am in my 30s and have severe eczema, so this review is for someone like me who was seeking help from a practice whose focus was not to make me look younger or do cosmetic treatments. they might focus on that, but for me the focus was strictly health. I am a local dentist and I've been suffering immensely for 10 years from eczema, and a year ago I stumbled upon the concept of topical steroid addiction and withdrawal. So I have been in withdrawal for 13 months. my first 8 months were hell. skin went bizerko, fever. sometimes I was okay. but I was in a bathtub the moment I came home from work practically every day until month 6. I was under the care of a "famous" derm in Beverly Hills who is big in the withdrawal world, and he took great care of me. I feel that it was mainly psychological as I was very fragile. and then after 7 months we had a falling out due to what I think was simply financial greediness. breaks my heart. I would have never sent a nasty email like that to my own patients. the next 3 months were fairly decent. I was on the healing phase of withdrawal. I didn't really need a derm anymore. but from the ITSAN forum, found out that flares are still entirely possible (can take 3 years to withdrawal). so sure enough, on the eve of my 1 year anniversary, I started a flare. a mega flare. although it wasn't entirely out of the blue. for the previous 3 months I've been dealing with sores on my hand. but I'm resilient and tough and thought I could deal on my own. but with stern coaxing from my brother, I agreed to see a doctor. Finally to my review: the staff: I called and the woman that answered was nice, I explained that I wanted to see another dr at their office that was highly recommended, but there was no opening until November. then I said that I think I might be having a skin emergency. then she asked if I could do the next day. Then I explained that I had a patient cancel in my afternoon, and other than that I'm booked solid. and I'm not about to cancel my own patients so that I can be a patient. So she said she'll see what she can do and if she can call back. I said yes. I gave her the number to my office. Then she asked if it was okay to leave a detailed message with my staff. I said yes. First of all, for those of you that don't know, that was very correct of her for HIPPA reasons. I am glad they are HIPPA compliant. She and my front office receptionist were able to set up an appointment during my opening in the afternoon. at the appointment: I quickly filled out my forms, waited maybe 10-15 minutes, and then was seen by either a medical assistant or nurse. perfectly sweet and nice. she asked me for a rundown and then she said Dr. Roseborough would be in shortly. I could hear her give Dr. R the rundown outside and then they both came in. Dr. Roseborough was as sweet as can be, at the same time intelligent sounding. She was patient, concerned with what I was experiencing. I could tell she did not like me refusing steroids, but she did not say so. She had the same look on her face that I likely have when my patients say something like they don't believe in fluoride. Dr. R spent about 35 minutes with me, and she said her main objective was to make me less miserable and I could tell she truly meant it. I appreciated that she was respectful of my wishes to not be on steroids, and I appreciated that she didn't bother telling me all the things I know from seeing 4 derms in the last 10 years. checking out was easy. And the front office staff said something interesting, if I could leave from the side door as the front door is now locked. I said of course. I then noticed the reception lights were out. And I thanked them all for being so sweet and I specifically thanked the receptionist for making this appointment happen. I thanked them for staying late. Their office was obviously closed. they obviously stayed late to see me. That makes me cry just typing about it. I would certainly do that for my own patients. but that's me and I love my job and my patients. but it touched me so deeply that they wanted to help me, a complete stranger. I can't comment on future visits or the outcomes of those or if I've found my permanent dermatologic home, or if Dr. Roseborough is the perfect match for me. But I can say she was lovely and her team was lovely. read more

I went to three dermatologists over the course of 6 years before this doctor fixed my problem in ONE visit. I had severe eczema on just one hand and was told by other dermatologists a variety of instructions: do not wash hands (I have children in diapers; how do I manage this?), put a variety of lotions on hands (none of which worked), and that last was that it was caused by stress and to do meditation (which I already do, but I think this was beyond the help of meditation). My eczema was so bad it would keep me up at night because it was burning and itching and made life miserable because on no sleep, I had kids to take care of the next day. Dr. Roseborough was really familiar with my case - other dermatologists looked at me like this was so odd. Dr. R gave me a prescription of a cream, and after applying it daily for a week, my hand completely healed. I apply the cream only when the symptoms start up again, and then it disappears again for several weeks. She says eczema is a life-long thing but at least it is manageable. I found Dr. Roseborough through yelp adds for dr. Fung, but he is not longer taking new patients and the staff person suggested Dr. Roseborough who works in the same office. I hope someone else doesn't have to suffer like I did - for six years - before getting proper treatment. I actually had gone on message boards trying to find an answer to my skin problem and found diet advice, along with advice not to use paper towels. I did everything possible. And all I needed was a medicated skin creme. read more

I was referred to Dr.Roseborough by Dr. Clarke upon her retirement. I had a cystic acne pimple which became inflamed between my eyebrow and bridge of my nose. Although Dr.Clarke initially started the treatment she could not have recommended a better doctor to continuously treat it. Dr. Roseborough is knowlegable, patient, with great bedside manners as this was a very serious issue for me. I have been a patient of Dr.Roseborough for over a year now. Went to this doctor expecting some good results and outcome. The doctor visit was very quick and unsettling. She looked at me from a distance prescribed me some medication. I've always had really bad eczema however she never took a close enough look for me to believe she was even trying the slightest to help. So I went to the pharmacy to pick up my medication... $500 dollars for skin cream and $200 for another. Waste of my time, she didn't even offer me other solutions or at home remedies. Here I am months later and my eczema is worse than before. Do not waste your time with this doctor her intentions are not pure. read more

I saw Dr. Roseborough after seeing a previous derm who didn't address my reason for coming in at all but rather tried to make me feel self-conscious about my skin in order to sell me expensive skin treatments and book follow-up appointments. I had a 1pm appointment. I arrived at 12:45 and was immediately handed a paper to sign that confirmed that if I canceled shorter than 24 hours I would be charged and that if I was more than 10 minutes late I would be rescheduled and possibly charged. The office smelled like a BAD Mexican restaurant! I asked and they said that they had a catered lunch and had no control over the food that was delivered. The smell was nauseating!
