Inicio Coffee review: Parking is small and limited, but due to most people coming and going, a spot opens up somewhat quickly. Wait times when things got a bit busy, grew longer. I came when it was not busy and got my drink in under two minutes. However, the person sitting next to me (with the cutest doggie! They're dog friendly, I think ) waited longer than 10 minutes for her drink. However, this was during a rush and when it was probably the busiest in the morning (?) AMBIANCE AND ENVIRONMENT: The music volume was pretty good. It was low level when the place got busy due to people chatting, machines, ice scooping etc., but when it wasn't so busy, the level was about medium due to the atmosphere being more quiet. The vibes were Mumford and sons, Oasis, Of Monsters and Men, the Head and the Heart, and some classical sprinkled here and there. It is smaller than a chain, but cozy with quite a few seats and table options. I think they did a great job at making the best of the space. The space also encourages community as half of the seating options are shared/shareable. All within an arms reach, which in my personal opinion, is plenty of space. Because of this, it encourages you to acknowledge your fellow human being sitting across, or beside you. The environment was clean, bright, and comfortable. The environment feedback I woukd give is perhaps a stronger sun shade in the windows that the bar and stools face. I first sat here but within minutes decide to move because the heat was a bit too much for me. Again! A personal preference. Coffee shops can also naturally get warm due to the energy being used for the machines and refrigerators, so something to consider. The air-conditioning kicked in a little later which helped make it more comfortable. Another thing I noticed is the outlet near the corner table and lounge chairs has a an outlet extender plugged into the wall outlet, but the wall outlet is extremely loose with no faceplate. This can cause electric shock, wiring damage and possible fires. I know from personal experience. It's a real easy and cheap fix that I highlyyy recommend they do ASAP. Just trying to be helpful because I really, really like this spot. FOOD AND DRINKS: I ordered a Hibiscus Berry Blend, as is, iced. It was $5.00 even. It is served in a14 Oz. cup. With ice, it's probably about 12-13 Oz. of drink you're getting. I think it was worth it. The flavor was equal and very nice. Not too fruity, not too watery. It wasn't sweet, due to me not asking for any additional sweetener. As I sat and worked, I heard a lot of other orders and some were very creative. So they do have all those fun drinks people love to indulge in occasionally. They also have classic drip coffee and loose leaf tea. THE REASON WHY I TRIED INICIO: The biggest thing I noticed, being an activist myself involved in many efforts for social justice through my work and personal life, was their mission to erase modern day slavery. Human trafficking is a horrible thing that unfortunately is haooening right before out very eyes. They donate a portion of all food, drink, and catering sales to Justice 180. That is honestly, the reason why I came. I would love to partner with them and invite them to come cater at my center. I plan to spread the word about this place and continue to support them. read more

Finally got the chance to try this local coffee, place and I really enjoyed it. The girls working the counter were so sweet and loved my puppy. I ended up getting the sugar cookie latte which comes with macadamia milk. Wow this was so good! Definitely for sweet coffee lovers. The only downside of this place would have to be the parking. The parking lot's shared with lots of other businesses on a big street. It's not the most convenient place to stop and get a coffee. There were tables to work a nice comfy chairs as well. read more

You can really taste the quality of the product and the care and attention to detail that they put into each and every drink. The sugar and spice latte (oat milk, half sweeten) and the sugar cookie latte (macadamia nut milk, and half sweeten) both showcase their smooth espresso with delicious house-made syrups! I'm picky about the balance of milk to espresso (hate super milky/ watered down coffee) and their drinks always hits the spot. The macadamia nut milk is slightly thinner than oat milk and it has a much nuttier taste. The baristas are always very kind and helpful. I love asking their current favorite drink, which led me to try the drinks mentioned. Incio's atmosphere is warm and inviting, with seating for about 16 people. The cafe gets natural lighting which is really nice to study in or to simply enjoy your drink. The parking lot is small and a little tight as they share it with other businesses, but I've always managed to find parking. read more

Came here once before for a Yelp Event years ago! I believe they were TK Coffee before, seems like they name changed since they have the same drinks on the menu along with some seasonal ones. I ordered the Iced Sugar Cookie Latte but got an extra shot in it since it was much needed. Plenty of seating inside although feels a bit cramped? The bar seating is nice since it faces the window and street outside. The parking is a bit weird since it's on a hill and just very slanted. It is a small lot so it can fill up quickly. My drink came out pretty quick but it was lacking flavor and the honey was overpowering. The strongness was there though but I had to add a bit more simple syrup when I got home. They have modern minimalist decorations. Cashier was friendly and made good recommendations for us. We ordered sweet cinnamon cold brew and Ohana latte. Both coffee tasted very good. It would be amazing if they are a bit stronger. Sweetness is perfect as they are not overly sweet. I will come by again if I am in the area. Stopped by by happenstance and had a great experience. The young lady behind the counter was delightful and gave great service. Additionally, the store itself was clean and they were playing good music that wasn't too loud. I think that a telltale mark that this place is good is that the owner was there chatting with customers and they seemed to have many regulars. This is where I get my Ethiopian pourover on those days I don't feel like brewing it myself at home. Incio does it perfectly, though it is a little expensive at $7. The Guatemalan is ok, you can pretty much find Guatemalan coffee anywhere in the Valley though. I haven't tried the sugary coffee drinks yet or the pastries, but I will have to at some point. The inside is cozy, good for grab -n-go. I'm sure once they get to expand to a bigger space, they will make it suitable for work or study. Service is great, smiles all around. The person working the counter was so sweet and I appreciated their small convo starter about what I was up to today for my visit. Although I'm generally shy, it was a simple convo to get into and added to how friendly and warm the general ambiance was. The place itself is cozy and has some good options for seating. I'm not from the area and decided to stop by after seeing them on yelp. The barista was working on other orders but acknowledged us from the beginning, letting us know he'd be with us shortly. Well I've been coming here for a bit but finally got around to making my heartfelt review and it's just a nice little coffee shop! Just basically across the street from Hansen Dam, perfect to grab a coffee after your walk, run or bike ride! Location, location, location it's what's great with this coffee shop! The drinks are always on point! Although I wish they had a little more variety of options but it's still worth it. I wished they had other size cup sizes to choose from. I usually get a large coffee which barely satisfies my caffeine cravings! Service here is always quick. Staff very friendly. read more

I came to the valley and needed a good coffee after a long drive. These place had good reviews and it wasn't Starbucks. The shop looked out of place being in the neighborhood that it was in. The parking lot was trashed. The inside was nice but cramped. The cashier was nice but the barista was a bit rude and didn't call out my order so drink just sat there till she brought the next order. I got a vanilla latte with almond milk. The coffee was great. But it would be nice if they would let know that your order is ready. Someone needs to clean up outside. I stopped by after my morning walk, my sister brought it to my attention. I'm a big coffee lover at that just anything from a coffee shop is a go for me the smell of fresh coffee and pastries is a plus for me. I walked in and got greeted by a nice young lady, felt very welcomed by her. I had the cappuccino with almond milk and it was delicious they also have pastries and they looked delicious as well, I gave up bread for lent so im dying for taste of sweets especially pastries im a sucker for bread . I've always seen this coffee shop on my recommended places to visit. I finally got the chance to visit! I would say overall the drink, food, and service wasn't spectacular. I wasn't amazed. I'm not sure if I would pay a visit again, maybe if they had different special lattes. I would.. My latte was ok and the food was not my favorite. I overheard that they do not have a kitchen. Which made sense. The food was not fresh. My bagel was probably a 3/10. I mean overall just from the exterior and photos I kinda had higher expectations but i definitely would say go try it and see for yourselves just wasn't my favorite. INICIO COFFEE is located in a strip mall with limited parking spaces. Though the space is limited, we didn't have any trouble finding an available spot. There was no line to get in, only one group in line in front of us to order, and the wait to get our drinks didn't take long. They have tables for you to work with your laptop. In fact, there was a lady who was conducting an online meeting on one of the tables when we were there and another guy was a having a business meeting on another. There is wifi here.
