I cannot even begin to tell you the amount of compliments I received on my wedding dress and I felt absolutely beautiful in it the whole day. When I first contacted The Sewing Shop, I had already been in contact with several other shops that were too busy to take on my requested services. My phone call was excellent with such friendly demeanor, and all three of my visits were fun and enjoyable. I had no idea my dress needed as much work as it did and they still took on the project even after I misled them saying I only needed a slight alteration. The cost of the alterations were a bit too expensive but you are paying for the quality of work and years worth of experience from this husband and wife couple! The only thing that happened with my dress was that the bustle kept breaking buttons off the back of my dress but I believe this was entirely tied to how heavy my train was and how much jumping around dancing I was doing. I frantically emailed Sarah 4 days before my wedding because I had finally given up when the last tailor STILL after 4 fittings didn't get my train correct. Sarah calmly took my dress and made it beautiful. She fixed everything and redid much of the work that was sloppily done from before. I swear that it looked like a different more beautiful dress once Sarah had it for 48 hours.
