I frantically emailed Sarah 4 days before my wedding because I had finally given up when the last tailor STILL after 4 fittings didn't get my train correct. Sarah calmly took my dress and made it beautiful. She fixed everything and redid much of the work that was sloppily done from before. I swear that it looked like a different more beautiful dress once Sarah had it for 48 hours. I recommend any bride getting married between Boston and Portland, ME to come to Sarah if you want your dress to be in the best hands.

When I first contacted The Sewing Shop, I had already been in contact with several other shops that were too busy to take on my requested services. The seamstress had added pea-sized buttons on my derrière, where buttons did not previously exist. Jacqueline was not only quick to respond, but was able to fix my problem in less than 15 minutes. This, I see, as a victory, because the seamstress who I went to in the first place had looked me dead in the eye when I told her I didn't like the outcome of my dress, and asked her to remove the buttons, and said "I can't do that. It's sewn on." Jacqueline was not only pleasant to chat with as she quickly brought me back from wedding nightmare dreamscape, but she walked me through exactly what she was doing.
