I check in, the machine states an hour and eight minute wait. Someone comes out and notifies me that the wait will actually be close to an hour and a half because there is a scheduled appointment (but i was the only one waiting)... I was desperate for some relief from a sore throat and aching ears that i decided to wait. The girl takes my insurance information and i'm pulled back 10-15 minutes later (yay!) I explain i'm in extreme pain at night and have gotten to the point of crying from the pain. The NP (i believe christine) tells me to simply take some benadryl or claritin to help sleep along with some pain medication and also prescribes 3 day steroids for the swelling. She suggests taking the pill right away to help the swelling only to be told by pharmacist that i wouldn't sleep if i did it that way. In good faith, i take some benadryl and pain medication to get through the night. Here i am, at 1 am crying in pain with absolutely no relief and still not sleeping. Well done christine, i guess i'll have to take more time off to visit a medical professional with a little more insight.

This office was easy to locate with plenty of parking. The receptionist is the most professional, helpful and friendliest person working a front desk. They need to carbon copy her for all service industries! The office decor makes you want to book a trip all over the world. I love the art from various countries and the wall map mural makes me want to pin everywhere that's my destination spot. Erin, the doctor on site, had the same demeanor. She's super helpful with her encyclopedia of countries and their suspects of diseases and ailments. It is a quick appointment and you can get in and out under 30 minutes easily. If you complete your paperwork online prior to the appointment, they discount the fee by $10. A visit runs $85 then depending the type of shots you get, your bill varies drastically from $85 - $2100. The typhoid shots run easily $515 per dose!!! Perhaps you are lucky and your insurance will cover it otherwise be prepared to fork over the wallet. Personally, worth the assurance that I will be covered in mosquito repellent and enjoying warm waves and lazy days ahead.
