Ordered from Early Bird Menu- Meatball Parm Dinner, figured it had to be their signature dish. Food served barely warm, slab of cheese over meatballs wasn't melted, side of bead was some cold pizza dough I couldn't cut through. Atmosphere was depressing. My grade is a C minus. So the food is decent I would def go back for pizza and the fried garlic knots are interesting. But they did not have enough staff to cover how busy they were the place is huge and they we running. We sat at the bar and the bartender did a decent job but she wad being pulled in like 10 different directions. The meatball trio also a good idea sauces were great but the balls needed worked cold and I don't think fresh. My cocktail was ok. Place has potential but needs to figure out the kinks. read more

My girlfriend and I have saw a few ads for the restaurant and wanted to give it a try. I have no complaints other than more people should be here. The service was great and fun. We started with a couple of drinks and ordered the fried ravioli with buffalo sauce. Probably frowned upon by food purists but it was amazing. Then we ordered their Margherita Mulberry. Everything about the experience of this Restaraunt can be summed up to weird and awkward. The food was pretty good. I do think some things are priced weird in a high way. Like the meatball appetizer was good! However, someone I came with got the meatball sandwich. Why is the meatball appetizer $1 more than the meatball sandwich which comes with more meatballs, cheese, and on a hoagie??? Like make it make sense. Like if you want to enjoy meatballs order the sandwich pick off the bread and save yourself a $1. No you don't get the 2 other sauces but again make it make sense. Also, the staff were way weird. Like not only did I feel the waitress has no experience waitressing (not a big deal everyone stays somewhere) but it was like she had no experience going to a Restaraunt at all. We had to ask for drinks we had to ask for straws. She did offer refills but it was super awkward she kept trying to explain herself to us that she didn't know what to do because 3 of us need refills at 1 time. Like we understand you have 2 hands it's ok.... She decided she was going to get something and come back because she couldn't carry the three drinks so we said ok. 5 minutes later she comes out and tells us she is just going to have to refill 2 at a time if that's ok with us... what? It was like she felt bad she only has 2 hands and was apologizing to us over and over again that she could only refill 2 drinks at one time. So weird. Then, one of the members of our party ordered the chicken parm. It seemed like it is supposed to come to the table and the hot sauce and melted cheese is poured over the chicken in front of you. Cool concept. Except, the lady who brought it was rushing and decided she couldn't wait for the other waitress to finish setting our other plates down. So she poured it on to the chicken 6-10 feet away from our table behind the waitress and the member of our party who ordered the meal missed it. If you are too busy just put it on the chicken in the back just like every other restaurant. Another thing that was weird is there's a bar when you walk in but we were not given a drink menu. Maybe you have to ask for that too. Again weird. The Restaraunt is very beautiful I am seeing in the reviews that this might be a new Restaraunt so maybe they will work out the kinks and it'll be better with time. read more

Here's the good, bad and ugly for this new business. I've eaten here twice now with the same people and we all grew up within an hour of NYC. GOOD: Get the pizza. The white pizza is paticularly good with arugula, proscuitto and balsamic glaze, with a golden crust. The regular red pizzas need a bit more sauce, but still good. House salad was veey good. Service was very good both times we were there. I kept questioning whether the vodka sauce was really vodka sauce in my sandwich and they sent me home with a free one which was much better. Refurbished decor looks great. BAD: The chicken parm and chicken vodka sandwiches both needed more sauce. Chicken was overdone but a generous filling for the sandwich. The base red sauce was a chunky meat sauce for the calzones and sandwiches, and vodka sauce shouldn't use meat sauce. Meatballs are dense and dry. UGLY: Nothing ugly here. The net is go for the pizza and salad. Bartender is also very good and engaging. read more

We came in today on a whim for lunch after visiting the outlets and had a so so experience. We ordered the kids chicken tenders which were fresh and homemade, the hot honey pizza, the chicken parm & the white pizza. Everything was really good with the exception of the white pizza. It was a little dry for us and lacked flavor, would probably try the soho white instead next time. The part of our experience that wasn't great was the service. I don't know if someone called out or they were understaffed but they had one person waiting on tables and like 1-2 people in the kitchen. We ended up eating our entire meal without drinks and never got our salad or bread that came with our meal. If they were understaffed they probably should have stopped seating people so they could tend to the people they already had there. The lady working was nice and apologized for the wait but it was still disappointing. Lastly, they don't have a changing table. As a family with young kids going somewhere that doesn't have a changing table doesn't encourage us to come back. This restaurant is connected to a bar so maybe they don't want families with young kids coming but it seems odd that they don't have anywhere to change babies in the establishment. Disappointing because the food was pretty good and we don't have a lot of good places where we live. read more

Ate here twice. First time we had the meatball appetizer since if you put meatball in your name it has to be great. Nope. The 4 of us all agreed it wasn't that great. We ordered two pizzas one was the soho white which was good. I enjoyed it even though I'm not a fan of greens on my pizza. The other pizza was half sausage which was good. The crust was good on both, the sausage pie could have used a bit more pizza sauce but was still good. The second time we went back for calzone because we had seen them the first time and we were disappointed. Nothing memorable about the meatlovers or the meatball and mushroom canzone. The other two people in our group ordered chicken sandwiches. Overdone/burnt, the vodka sauce was so far off we told the waitress that she brought the wrong thing. The chef confirmed it was vodka sauce, he needs a new recipe because it was not. So I would go there for pizza, but nothing else. Just don't expect real NYC pizza. read more

We stopped in for dinner at NYC Meatballs and Pizzeria on August 4. Great atmosphere with soft music and very clean. Excellent service from Theresa. We tried the cheese calzone which was generous and served with a side of marinara. We also had the spaghetti with marinara and three meatballs. Everything was delicious and well presented. Good selection of craft beers. We arrived after 8:00pm and still had terrific service and really nice Italian meal. read more

My wife and I had the pleasure of dining there last evening. It was pretty busy but we were seated right away. Selena the manager served us initially. Tara picked us up after. Both of them were very attentive and pleasant. My wife ordered the Chicken Parmesan and I ordered the Lasagna. The brought out the chicken parmesan on two plates. Table side they slid the cheese and sauce from one plate over the chicken on the second plate, bullseye. The lasagna was the best I have ever had. I kept kicking my left arm out like a dog kicks it's leg out when someone scratches the right spot. The owner a Mr. Vinny Ra was working the floor helping the servers. He was a pleasure to speak with. His staff had very nice things to say about him. Kudos to the kitchen staff including Mario and Gunner for a wonderful meal. It was great the first night they open after we went back 2 more times after it was awful. Everything on the menu is processed and the pizza is one of the worst in town. The owner is a lunatic the way he treats the restaurant staff is ridiculous. Oh and when we were there we saw a young couple eating and doing videos turns out he pays influencers to leave reviews and videos to make the business look more appealing. Not to mention the place is put together like a temu version of a high class restaurant. The entire place is just black paint on glue. The lighting around is definitely diy handyman status. And a glass shower enclosure for a wine room is just the highlight of this joke of a place. Don't go here if you are hungry. I have given them 3 chances and never again. Once for pick up, once for delivery and once for dine in. First time I ever went was for pick up - entered restaurant and 5 employees saw me - a few even walked past me - but no one acknowledged me. I waited 5-10 mins then I finally said I was there for pickup. Food takes too long - and always longer than their estimated time - by double (they say 25-30 mins - it will be an hour or more). Don't order online - their tech is not working. Wait staff was clearly inexperienced - and one said she was confused why the place was busy on a Friday night (really???). Multiple owners walking around like busybodies. The flavor of everything I ate was off. Pizza is oily and below average with strange after taste. For some god awful reason their garlic knots are deep fried, hard and dripping in oil. Actually sitting in a pool of oil when served. Messy and nasty. Chicken parm vodka sandwich was over fried and not good either. Too oily and too hot because over fried - it took too long to be edible without burning my mouth multiple times. And not even a true pink vodka sauce - more of an arrabbiata sauce or something. I took a few bites and left it there. Same with the knots - only ate a few because I was starving. Never never again. We went with friends to the new NYC Meatballs and Pizzeria Saint Augustine (2730 Florida 16). We were sad when the previous restaurant closed, but we had an excellent dinner under the new ownership. The renovations are very well done! They have homemade gnocchi, which is one of my favorites, and I paired it with their Bolognese sauce. (on the menu it has pesto, but they were very accommodating.) My husband had pizza and our friends had the calzone and eggplant Parm. The eggplant Parm was served plated, and then the bubbly melted cheese arrived on a heated skillet, and laid on top table side. Five stars on everything. They even offer an early bird menu, which includes lower prices a free glass of wine! They have a family area if you are having a private gathering or dining with a larger group. As with any new restaurant, they are still working some kinks out, but overall was an excellent experience with friendly staff and great food. read more
