love this local shop! I have had my fair share of tattoo experiences with different shops around the island & this shop right here is probably by far my favorite one. We stumbled upon them during a fundraiser event and decided to go back to them on a whim one day. Let me just say that every artist there is pretty cool and willing to help everyone out. My go to artist there is Nolan who pretty much has done all of my recent tattoos. SUPER helpful, detail oriented, and always puts out his best work for his clients. What really caught my attention (besides the fact that majority of his style is something I'm interested in) was his hospitality towards me and my friend. always made sure we were completely comfortable with all our tattoos. From the placement, his thought process and even the price points. Solid local braddah. Romeo came to the shop early to accommodate my tattoos since I had to go pick up kids. His work was stellar! He is so kind and professional! His son also works at the shop. I was able to get 3 tattoos. One behind ear (flower with two initials), on left wrist of "be still" script, and sternum (between chest) of a lotus and design. read more

Yesterday we were invited to watch my friend get her tattoo done of a wolf at ink of dreams in Nanakuli the place was really clean and nice friendly environment 2 of the artists were really friendly my friend got her tattoo done by Chico and the other guy there was really friendly as well I believe his name was bula he was doing a cover up on someone feet. After spending a few hours there my daughter talk with Chico and planned her tattoo with him we made an appointment for today 03212020 when we got there was greeted again some 2 guys Chico and Bula we talked for a few minutes I filled out paper work for my daughter tattoo then it was game time my daughter went in the back I had to make sure she was relaxed and then Chico made her comfortable all I can say is thank you very much my daughter and I will be back again this time I will get one done read more

I came in to the shop late april to schedule a tattoo appointment. the guy i was suppose to be going to had done 2 of my friends' tattoos before so i thought he would be cool to talk to, which he was in person when i first met him. everything was set to go a month later on the first weekend of june. keep in mind i had already placed down a $100 deposit for a tattoo that was considered a "deal" for $1k. the week before that weekend for when i was scheduled, i asked if it was too late to change what i had in mind and the artist asked what i wanted. i gave him my new idea and he said okay. guy seemed real mad that i wanted MY tattoo made differently. instead of a full arm tattoo for $1k, he was now charging me a total of $650 for JUST MY FOREARM. i asked my friends how much they paid for their tattoo on their forearm (which was almost similar to what i wanted) and it was half of that - around $300-$350. funny thing is, i wasnt even shown what the design looked like and it was almost as if he insisted on me coming in anyway even before i changed my mind on the design (i didnt even see the first design made and he said he'd show me a week before my appointment). i asked him to show me the new design before i came in and he told me a day in which he would send his artwork and he never did. i decided to cut my loss on my non-refundable $100 deposit on the day of my tattoo appointment. why? because i am not going to get a $650 tattoo worth twice as much as my friends' tattoos just because i changed my mind on what, *I* the customer, wanted to get done. about 3 days has passed since my appointment and still no contact from the artist asking why i hadn't come in. the artist has my name, number, email, and social media. no effort whatsoever to get in touch with me and follow up. at this point its evident that this shop is out for just your money and not working out of passion. i understand that i shouldve mentioned the changes sooner, but the friendly customer service and hospitality i was given a month before went straight out the door. anyways, thanks for ruining my first tattoo experience. would i recommend this place to anyone? hell no, but i will tell them i donated $100 to a charity, and not even a good one either - and ill tell them the name of this shop and who to give their money to - for a good cause too because it seems like the uncle that took my deposit needed the money more than i do. read more
