So awesome I think Sarah, the owner of this one person shop was as excited about doing my tattoo as I was to get it. I messaged her a drawing I liked and she responded immediately. She practices by appointment only and when you're in her shop, you have her complete attention. She did exactly what I was looking for, she did it expertly. During these times , people are extra concerned about safety. Everything was sanitized, clean and neat. It's a very attractive and comfortable setting. The work was done quickly and it's a pleasure to be in her company. Her pricing is fantastic and Sarah is a genuinely nice person who cares about her craft and the people she serves. It's been awhile since I got a new tattoo. My friend recommended this place for me and I wanted to give it a try since her anime tattooing was really nice! It's all the way in Waianae but it was worth the drive! Came here two times to get my tattoo done. I booked an appointment with Sarah she is the owner of Ink landing tattoo. I made a appointment to get my Totoro tattoo done by her. She was having a Totoro month special so the size of the tattoo I got was for only $80 and it was worth it! Came in and she wanted to make sure what size I wanted on my arm. So she told me to pick and waited for her to draw it out. He drew it out really quickly and it was nice! She offered us some snacks and drinks too! How nice:) Finally she was doing my tattoo and it's been awhile so it hurt a little but just a little tingling. She did my tattoo in 1 hour and 30mins! She did it fast and it came out perfect! I love the tattoo so much! It's one of the best tattoo she did for me and I love it! She always have a monthly anime special going on. If you follow her page on Instagram she tells about the special! If you want a anime tattoo I recommend coming to Sarah. I love you so much Sarah for the tattoo! Super pleased with Sarah's work! I took advantage of the Studio Ghibli monthly special. This month is My Neighbor Totoro! I actually had my Totoro outlined about 5 years ago and it has been incomplete since... After today, he has some color! The shop is small and cozy, with a homey feel. There is a sofa and a fridge filled with canned beverages. Before beginning the tattoo session, instruments and materials are set up. The area is cleaned. Sarah makes sure you are comfortable and communicates with clients. A sarong/cover-up is provided for privacy (verses stripping down to get tattooed). The chair you sit in while being worked on is actually one from a hospital... It reclines electronically and is super comfy! She encourages you to stop her when it gets too intense (she understands that everyone's skin is different and may react differently). She works extremely fast and does extraordinary work with high quality. Not only is Sarah kind, but her prices are very fair as well. Note that she is by appointment only. read more

This my first ever trip to Hawaii and I wanted some souvenir ink. Since I was staying with friends in Makaha, I searched for a local artist away from Honolulu high prices. Sarah is the sole artist and proprietor of Ink's Landing, born and raised in the Makaha/Waianae area. What a find! Not only is she a first rate artist, she is sweet, smart, and friendly. I got a 12 inch old school hula girl on my calf and during my 2 hour session, Sarah told me so much about Hawaii, it's people and culture. She is a proud Hawaiian and a true example of the "Aloha" spirit. I am an older man with several tattoos from California. This is the least painful ink I have ever received. Sarah says it's due to using the latest equipment. Perhaps. But I think her light touch and diverting personality also played a role. I told Sarah that she does not charge enough for her art, but she says that money is not her first concern. Her price was easily 50% less than California and Honolulu prices, and that is after a substantial tip, which she deserves! She works by appointment only. So make the call. Sarah is awesome! Parking for this place might be hard to come by but it is worth the effort. Definitely enjoyed the chilling AC while I got my tattoo done. I wanted a small simple design of my dog's pawprints that I got printed on paper beforehand with ink. Sarah made a drawing out of it and it looked basically just like the prints. When the tattoo was done I was really satisfied because it did look exactly like a copy of what I had brought in. My dog is getting up there in years and I thought this was a perfect way to keep her memory with me. I remember her saying something about like a dog she was really close to that suddenly passed & only thought of the idea afterwards. I was so sorry to hear about that. But it made me really feel secure about my choice of tattoo since everyone else was kinda just like... why? Rest In Peace sarah's pup! Anyways this is awesome place! Worth the drive.
