My buddy just got his tat done today by Devin Walter at Sundance, I messaged Bud on here late last night and he replied instantly and was able to get him as a walk in around 2p, great job Devin! Bud has been very communicative and patient with me because I've changed the plan a few times, thank you Bud! My friend said that the atmosphere was great and chill, Devin even offered him some pizza! Real cool guys! Getting a first tattoo can be intimidating especially when you finally decide to go through with it while on vacation in Hawaii. But after doing some research online and asking around while in Oahu I decided to try Sundance because of the positive reviews people left and the artwork that caught my eye from those reviews and other posts. I messaged Bud here on Yelp and he made it easy to get a walk in appointment. Bud runs a clean and rather killer shop and his selection of flash is literally quite endless (frames over frames of it). But after 20 minutes of looking I selected a piece I really liked and he gave a good price for it, and furthermore he seemed really stoked do it. Right before we started my last minute my nerves started to kick in but Bud put on the heavy rock jams (the good ones) and I felt right at home and away we went. After about a hour and half we were done and now I have some killer ink on my arm. Furthermore, Bud gave me some good recs for artists on the mainland to expand on my ink collection in the future along with aftercare instructions to keep my tattoo looking good and clean. To conclude, this was a great first tattoo experience and Bud and Sundance Tattoo are a great shop that makes even better art! You guys rock! read more
