drove from the San Fernando valley to get tattooed by the best in town, met charlot last year and saw her talent in social media posts and finally made it out there and she did not disappoint! I booked this piece months in advance, and it was absolutely worth the wait. The moment it was finished, I felt lighter--almost like a spiritual awakening. It's been so hard to find someone who can do true fine-line work while still being affordable, but Charlot delivered both with so much care and talent. She was incredibly patient, and we had such a great conversation while she worked on me. We talked through how the piece would sit on different parts of my skin and decided it would flow better on my back rather than my arm, since I already had some ink there. Her studio is inviting, peaceful, and full of creative energy. I even noticed a stack of books that inspired me to start reading more on my own. I'll definitely be coming back for more floral or mandala pieces. Her artwork is truly one of a kind!

When it comes to finding the right artist, mutual trust and vibes is a MUST to have the best experience and outcome for life. I have had so many various great experiences with different artists as ive grown over the last 15 years, each one fitting to where I am in my life. I had arrived to Charlot at the exactly perfect time. I've been dreaming of the perfect chest piece and I waited until I found the perfect artist. Im so happy I waited! Where should I begin.. PRE Planning - everything was done remotely, so convenient! Super smooth communication, started off with my very vaguely described vision. She asked for inspiration photos, description, and photos of the area I wanted done, i sent her a few different angles so she had a good foundation to lay a design out. she later returned with a few mock ups that was in alignment with what I wanted, the amount of sessions it would take, her price range. All checked out well so we set a date to meet in her studio. DAY 1- THE SETUP looked over initial mockup together and we played around with all the options to really make it come to life on screen. I put my trust fully in her hands! Super fun process, she gave me a verbal play by play with each step of the process in real time so I never had to guess what was coming next or what she was doing. She laid the stencil on me and when we felt confident it was perfect, it was time for her to get to work! During our session we chatted, she made sure i wasnt in any discomfort at any moment. I was relaxed the entire time. I almost fell asleep. Her amazing apprentice was present to view and learn and it was so nice to witness Charlot teach as she was working on me. She put great energy into the fine details for our first session, so we ended the day to rest for day 2! DAY 2 - TRANSFORMATION I came in and Charlot had mapped out our finale, stencil on, breakfast eaten and back to work! she laid the rest of the design on me efficiently and meticulously until everything was perfect. Again, she made sure I had zero discomfort even though she had worked on me the day before. We shared laughs, she let me vent, cry, and even shared peacefully silent moments. She added the final touches at the end, some of which was challenging but she made it look SO easy and made sure I was comfortable all the way to the end. we were both so worked by the end of the day but you couldnt tell cause the excitement for the outcome was so real. We took pics, and marveled at the final outcome together. Then I went home to sleep so good! My session with Charlot wasnt just a tattoo appointment. It was seriously INK THERAPY. I feel so brand new, I rediscovered a love for myself I had almost forgotten and sprouted so much more love for Charlot. Tattoos hurt its normal! But through the process, She had poured love back into me as I released inner pain I held deep down. I learned to love myself even deeper now! Her passion, compassion and soul manifests through her art and im so excited to wear on me forever as a daily reminder that life is so beautiful knowing there are people still taking care of each other this way. She is amazing and if you ever get the opportunity to book with her please do, and come with an open heart, open mind and ready to trust the process. You may leave the studio slightly shifted in a wonderful way with a beautiful piece of art remind you of your true beauty. Will I come back? Yea always and every time!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Charlot of Ink Therapy! I came in for a crown tattoo and was absolutely blown away by her technique. The fine line detail is flawless -- truly a work of art. Charlot took her time, was so gentle and intentional, and made the entire experience feel so personal and safe. Her care and precision are unmatched. I had an amazing experience working with Charlot for my tattoo. She was able to take my initial concept and rough sketch and create something even better while keeping the meaning behind it. She has a light touch and is a true artist with her line work and shading! The studio is easy to find and a comfortable and inviting space. Getting a tattoo is always an experience, but when you have Charlotparis, it is a very intimate setting and you feel comfortable. During my first visit, it took all day and she was so nice to get dinner and provide some candy throughout the day. She does amazing line work and I uploaded the final photo. If needed, numbing cream is available. I did come by for a touch up and Charlotparis was just as nice as the first time I met with her. I definitely recommend stopping here to get a tattoo. The shop is clean and there is ample parking.

Charlot is amazing. Not only is her work immaculate, she makes sure you're comfortable and happy with every step of the process. She is a true professional who takes pride in making sure you're leaving with what she deems, a great piece. I was impressed seeing her work online, and even more impressed with how she executes it. Our session was around 5 hours and the entire time, I felt like I was catching up with an old friend - the time went by so fast; I felt bad we were there so late, but she assured me that she wanted me to be happy with what I was leaving with. She made some changes to the original concept I provided her and it made me love it so much more!

Yesterday I got my first tattoo with Charlot and man, 10/10! I was a bit nervous going in since it was my first tattoo but as soon as I met Charlot, she instantly made me comfortable with the energy she puts out. A few things that stood out to me was that she acknowledged it was my first tattoo so she took the time to explain how the tattoo gun works and how the skin absorbs the ink. Everything was cleaned and sanitized and she made sure she kept that up throughout the whole session. Before we got started, she took the time to make sure the design I wanted and size was up to my standard. No gun touched my skin until she knew I was happy with what was created. Once we were done, she provided me with an after care baggie with everything I needed for post care and even some sweet treats! She explained what I needed to do for the next week to make sure my tattoo healed efficiently! If you're thinking of getting your first tattoo or even adding another piece, go to Charlot! My first tattoos, right and left hand/fingers: Charlot was the absolute best!! From the moment I walked in, she was super welcoming, made me feel comfortable! She's patient and wants to make sure her client is happy with the placement/design of the tattoo before beginning. Apparently getting your hands tatted can be painful lol. Besides the incredible quality of her art--which is obvious by how much detail, thought, consideration, client input, passion, etc. go into each individually crafted piece--Charlot crafts an incredibly pleasant experience throughout the whole process. I also knew immediately from her portfolio that she was exactly the artist to make my vision come true. During the individual consultation, a video call helped her get an idea of what I was looking for. My recommendation is that unless you know exactly what you want, I would allow Charlot again and again the creative freedom to craft a beautiful piece for you. Even though I may not have been able to articulate exactly what I wanted during our consult, Charlot was able to create exactly what I had envisioned. Before my first session, Charlot ensured that all my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Arrival at the studio was of no issue; the suite gives a trendy vibe and is cleaned regularly. During our sessions, Charlot would take the time to plan and make sure that what you are getting A) looks good and B) is what you want. Charlot will also let you know if something doesn't look "right" or if something needs an adjustment; again, I would recommend trusting the process and just letting Charlot work her magic. Charlot takes pride in her work and once you are wearing her design(s), you will too. Throughout both sessions, Charlot ensured that I was comfortable and always made sure to check in with how I was doing. Charlot took many steps to ensure that my body didn't have any adverse reactions to the tattooing. Charlot will also tailor your experience to you (e.g., she will let you do your thing if you want to just read a book or watch a movie or chat with you if you'd prefer). Charlot ensures that you also get sufficient information and recommendations for proper aftercare. Her little goodie bags are so cute and the aftercare samples were incredibly helpful. When I tell you that Charlot is my person for tattoos, please believe me. I got my first tattoo from her at the beginning of 2021 and have been following her even before then. Her ability to do fine line floral tattoos is absolutely astonishing and so artistically done. Not only that, but she makes sure that I was comfortable and provided snacks, good conversations, and good vibes. Getting tattooed by Charlot is legitimately like getting tattoo therapy. I cannot express enough how much I adore Charlot and her tattooing ability. I'll get one tattoo from her and immediately want another one. Tattoos: I have three tattoos from her and counting. Her process is very comforting in the way she will continually ask if you're doing okay, if you need anything, and will provide any relief possibly if, for some reason, your tattoo is hard to sit through. Her linework is amazing and so detailed! She will make sure you are happy with your placement and the final product. There is nothing she won't do to make you happy. Customer service: As stated above, she is amazing at making anyone and everyone feel comfortable. I feel as if I'm sitting with family whenever I get tatted by her because she always offers to feed me, gives me the best seat she can find for consultation, and be very compliant with any requests I have on the design to fit my body and needs. Charlot is an amazing artist. My grandma just passed and I really wanted to remember her with her signature tattooed on me. She was so patient and empathetic. She took her time to make it perfect. If you're in the Newport Beach area this is the place to get all your tattoos done and if you're not from Orange County, this is still the place to go bc I would literally travel just to see her. The best fine line artist out there and it's great being able to go to a women owned place and feeling safe to be vulnerable. Can't wait to get more fun tattoos in the future!! read more

I could not recommend Charlot enough and this review is lonnnng over due. Me and my 2 girlfriends were in a weekend bday trip and exuded last minute to get matching tattoos. I reached out to Charlot and she immediately told us to come and she would squeeze us in. I am so grateful that she did because not only did we all receive amazing matching butterfly tattoos but we had the most amazing experience and time because Charlot is just an amazing person herself. Charlot took me in last minute and was the sweetest soul I've met right straight away during my first phone call with her. The best way to describe my experience was "visiting your tattoo artist friend and catching up with her." I have horrible social anxiety but she made me feel welcome right away, giving me candy and water and asking constantly if I was comfortable. We conversed a bit and she definitely makes you feel like she's not a stranger, she is so sweet and kind-hearted and diverts your attention away from the needles piercing your skin. Everytime I thought the tattoo was done, she went back in and somehow added details that would make it so much better. My reference photo was quite bland so she re-drew it to be spectacular, and shaded it beautifully on my arm. If you want someone who takes their time and puts heart into every detail to make sure you're happy, Charlot is the artist you want. Tattoos are forever, and I don't think anyone could regret a tattoo done by Charlot. No one giving 5 stars here is exaggerating, she truly is an amazing artist I will recommend to anyone. read more

Really don't want to knock down her rating and I'm jealous of everyone that's gotten her work done! But I had a consult on May 15th where she took the time to listen to my vision and see inspiration photos--she even took a photo of my arm where I wanted the tattoo. She told me we could work on it/she could do it and even encouraged me to take my time deciding where I wanted to get this particular piece done. I texted her June 5th that I would love to move forward with her, no reply :(. I didn't want to be needy, but maybe it was a technical error?! Messaged again two days later, and again two days after that to try and confirm the phone number (it was the same number we had been texting before the consult- our previous messages still there). And nothing. I decided as a last ditch effort to reach out on her business Instagram where she was actively posting stories, on June 13th, and still never got a reply. I'm just bummed because I was excited and ready to get this tattoo and I thought we were on the same page. Just a little take aback by the lack of responsiveness from a professional standpoint after feeling like it was going to happen. Maybe I'm missing something about solo tattoo artist businesses? Is this typical? Maybe I'm naive! I tried searching for any announcements or signs that mentioned no DMs or delayed responses or something alone those lines for clients but couldn't find anything. Would totally understand if it wasn't something she was able/interested in doing anymore for whatever reason, but was left hanging and searching for a new artist. :( read more

Established in 2021.

Ink Therapy Studio was built from years of passion, dedication, and a deep love for art, combined with hands-on experience in tattooing. In 2017, I began my apprenticeship, where I developed my skills and understanding of the craft. By 2018, I was working in professional tattoo studios, gaining valuable experience and refining my technique while working with a wide range of clients and styles. By 2021, after working in multiple tattoo shops and developing my own signature style, I felt ready to create something of my own and Ink Therapy Studio was born. Over the years, I have continued to grow both artistically and professionally, shaping the studio into a space designed to feel safe, welcoming, and deeply personal for every client. With a strong focus on fine line artistry, I now also offer fine line tattoo training, where I teach and share my knowledge and techniques with aspiring artists in a supportive and intentional environment for all of my clients and students.

He did my friend's tragus piercing and my dual lobe piercings. I haven't been pierced since I was a baby, but Lucas made the whole experience real easy. Their website is also a fantastic resource in case you don't ask all of your questions about healing in-person. My friend and I truly felt like we were in great hands so kudos to everyone for setting such an easygoing vibe. I've been back a few times since January for a quick monthly check and to get my piercings downsized recently. As expected, I was met with top-tier customer service, true to the shop's personal brand. I feel confident coming back for future piercings. I had a very specific tattoo that I wanted done in which my son held my hand and transferred hearts from his little fingertips onto my hand, where I'd get them inked permanently. Charlot made it happen and made it such a beautiful, incredibly special experience for both of us. We came in Mother's Day weekend. Charlot's husband and daughter came in as well (my son and her daughter are the same age and got to pick music to listen to, and Charlot's husband recorded a beautiful Instagram reel for us and gave my son a drink and snacks / made sure he was taken care of). Ive been following Charlot for a few months now and was hoping to get a tattoo from her on Friday the 13th but I'm glad we got to scheduled it when we both had time. she's very sweet and honest and made this experience memorable! Charlot was amazing! She took her time to ensure she came up with a design I was satisfied with and made me feel very comfortable and safe. Her studio is clean and cozy and she did not make me feel rushed at all - although she did make an effort to finish on time because I had to leave at a certain time.
