As expected, I was met with top-tier customer service, true to the shop's personal brand. I feel confident coming back for future piercings. She's incredibly detail-oriented and took the time to make sure every little part of the tattoo looked right. She also made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire process, which made such a huge difference--especially during such a long session. What I appreciated most was how willing she was to make changes on the spot. If there was something about the design that I wanted to tweak, she was completely open to it and helped fine-tune everything until I genuinely loved the piece. She also told me her opinion as well as to what she thinks looks good, which also helped so much! She wasn't just focused on finishing the tattoo; she cared about how it would actually look and age, and wanted to make sure I was 100% happy with the final result. And honestly, she went above and beyond in ways I didn't expect. She even got me banh mi and sat with me through an 11-hour session while she wasn't feeling well herself. I had a very specific tattoo that I wanted done in which my son held my hand and transferred hearts from his little fingertips onto my hand, where I'd get them inked permanently. Charlot made it happen and made it such a beautiful, incredibly special experience for both of us. We came in Mother's Day weekend. What I went off of per screenshots below, was that You said you would send something over before our appointment, and you did not until I kept asking for it. If you had said you didn't feel comfortable sending a draft beforehand, I wouldn't have committed. Every tattoo artist I've spoken with after said you lacked professionalism and shouldn't have promised me a mock up if you weren't going to do it. Lastly, please stop bringing up my daughter's story to justify your actions. How dare you disrespect us and my ask a year ago and a year later now, for such an important piece and have the audacity to come at me like I was in the wrong for expecting professionalism and execution and was treated with lack of integrity and honesty. I let you refund the half of my deposit because my sister in law didn't make it and that was integrity on my part for your crappy service. We wouldn't have booked you altogether had we known you didn't keep your words! You can keep changing your comment to defend your story but I have the screenshots as proof of your lack of professionalism. I am not the one who keeps messaging - clearly a year later you're still bothered and wasting both our times. I pray this is the last time I need to hear from you for both our growth and peace.
