I've been to Creative Culture twice now, and loved it both times!…read more The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and answer questions clearly so there's no confusion about what to do or where to go. They also keep the space clean and organized, which is no easy feat given the nature of the business! The selection of crafts, while a bit pricey, is excellent. I've found that if it's in budget (you can find info on pricing on their website), you can find something fun for just about anyone. And regarding the price points, to me it does make sense given the cost of materials and labor involved. Whenever I go, I always leave room in my budget to add the suggested tip for the employees since they do such a great job and deserve to be paid well for it. Their specialty shakes are also AMAZING! Seriously, the price point they're at makes sense considering all of the extra goodies that are piled on top of the shake itself, and they're delicious! Just be sure to grab a napkin or two if you order one since it can get a bit messy. My one complaint, if I can even call it that, is that when it's especially busy it can be a bit cramped trying to walk around between the tables. That said, it's not bad enough for me to dock them a star since they use and manage their space well, and when I've been there people were generally conscientious of their surroundings which in turn reduced potential problems. All in all, Creative Culture is a bit pricey but very fun and well run! I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a unique place to go for a celebration, special occasion, or even just because. I can't wait to go again someday!

When you first come in, you can look around and decide which craft you want to do, and then check out at the desk to pay and order your shakes. Then you seat yourself and can get started on your craft. we were there for like 3 hours, and no one tried to rush us. There was a 2-3 week wait for our clay painting pieces to get finished to pick up, but that's reasonable. Highly recommend this as a cute date or activity spot! It does get a little busy, and you may be sitting right next to people you don't know. But it didn't feel too cramped or crowded still, and it's perfect for chatting if you're up for it! And to add since this is something I often look up as well. LGBT friendly, we felt safe and comfortable.

I can't state anything better than what's on their website! Unique way to serve coffee and contribute to reducing waste (to-go cups with a sustainable glass jar program). So my drink was in a mason jar ($1.75) , with lid & a coozie which I believe I can return for refund, refill or swap. My hot Bourbon Vanilla Latte (Macadamia Milk) was a warm jar of goodness! Outside of taking in the art on the walls, the poetic excerpts, there's clothing merch which looks to be made onsite, this place is such a vibe! house Coffee, breakfast foods with a slap of good ole character!

Absolutely beautiful and oddly creepy art everywhere. The ceiling with the hanged leprechaun and head of a rabbit and girl really take the creepy odd vibes home haha. I tried the tumeric ginger tea - I really enjoyed the punch of tumeric and ginger to my mouth. The balance was just right and flavorful to me. I'd soooo get this again! The lemonade coffee was odd to me - not my cup of a drink. The latte drink was a bit heavy on the bitterness for me but coffee lovers will enjoy it. The staff was friendly and odd as well - very fitting for the theme! I give it 5 stars because the vibes blew me out the water.

The Caesar salad was simple but perfectly done, and the tiramisu was the ideal way to end the meal. Every bite was genuinely delicious. The service was excellent from start to finish, and the whole experience felt worth the wait. This has officially become one of my favorite restaurants in KC. The restaurant is about as small as I expected, if not smaller. It is a tiny place but it almost adds to the experience. It's very intimate and perfect for couples. I would absolutely not bring little ones here. We started with the Caesar salad which was great. I highly recommend getting it. I'm sure any appetizer they offer is just as tasty though. For the main, my boyfriend had the lumache alla norcina which was very good but we both agreed my dish (the agnolotti) was the star of the show. The sauce was absolutely incredible. I usually don't reorder the same dish when I go back but I will absolutely be ordering it again when I come back. We finished with the tiramisu which was about as phenomenal as you'd expect. It was truly the perfect birthday dinner from the service to the food to the vibe of the whole place. I'm really looking forward to coming back to zero zero.
