The ladies running the counter are nice and leave you to look on your own, but they're there if you need them. They claim to be a new and used bookstore. I didn't see any used books mixed into where I was looking, which meant all prices were normal for a new bookstore. Overall a wonderful visit and a great local bookstore!

When I passed by in the morning it wasn't open, but even then there were books outside just calling out to be perused. So upon my return, some 7 hours later, I stopped in. Easy parking out front. It's huge. Books for days. These are used books, and many are in great shape, and priced accordingly. This isn't the cheapest used bookstore I've come across, but I think it's the most extensive. I wasn't looking for anything specific so didn't ask for anything. But I spent time in the cookbook and travel book sections. Huge. So many to choose from. Many decades of choices, including recent, especially important in the travel book section. I found the pricing a little higher than I expected, but I picked up some books anyway. Used bookstores keep books relevant and out of landfills both. Gotta love that.

Inside is much larger and book displays are well designed and thought out, enticing and encouraging you to peruse for your next reading adventure. The owner works hard to curate books from every genre, staying on top of current best sellers, while also offering a great section of local Vermont authors (of both fiction and nonfiction) , games, cookbooks, stationary. There is something for everyone's tastes and preferences. The owner and employees are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They'll gladly order what you'd like if you can't find it in stock. She often hosts events, so follow their Facebook page to learn more. Prices are reasonable and it's always hard to walk out with "just one more book." The store is located next to a lovely coffee shop: perfect combination for a new book to take with you as you sip and dine. If you live local or just visiting, I encourage you to see all they have to offer. Supporting indie booksellers is so important and also rewarding. You won't be disappointed.

The store is very clean and tidy. There were plenty of staff in the store keeping things in place, helping customers with questions and also do the checkouts. We bought some greeting cards, stickers and a kid's story book from the store. Prices were decent for all the items. The checkout process was quick and easy.

As we (my husband and kids) were driving to our hotel - we passed this cute yellow storefront and couldn't believe it was a bookstore! So we quickly checked-in our hotel, unpacked and went straight to the store. Upon entering we were immediately greeted by a young lady who quickly directed us to where we needed to be. However, the frosting on the cake was the most welcoming, super knowledgeable and ecstatic owner! Elizabeth! What a treat! My daughter who is 14 and a total bookworm met her soul sister! They engaged in a conversation ... and 1.5hrs later, 5 books and a list of places we should visit while in town... we were ready for our VERMONT TRIP! BEST VISIT EVER! If this was an indication of how our trip was going to be, what a treat! You must visit Elizabeth and her store you won't regret it.
