I wouldn't go anywhere else for my ink &/or piercings. Electric Ink is full of extremely hardworking, talented and caring artists. Reading all the other reviews is what prompted me to write this one because I believe they deserve a fair shake. Yeah...the place may look slightly lackluster but in my mind this contributes to the appeal of the place. No "spa day tattoo experiences" required...for me, at least! Could the couches be fancier and did you see some dust on the shelving....mmmmm, maybe??!! But they are regularly inspected by health organizations that score them well within the realm of more than acceptable practice. I'm there VERY frequently (Ashley) & I've personally witnessed every single safety & aseptic technique adhered to in every instance. As a consumer, my main concern is my health and safety, and of course, quality workmanship, following extremely close behind. I know all of these artist personally, and I know that they have bad days like everyone else does. They see walk-ins every single day that they're open, which is every single day...and they are typically staffed according to clients needs. Rarely, will you see a client waiting for any extended period of time. You have to keep in mind when getting a tattoo or piercing, that the artist is a person, just the same as you are. I find the artists at Electric Ink seem to manage stress exceptionally well and rarely have I seen someone there in a bad mood. They are non-judgmental, flexible, patient, and most importantly want you to have the outcome that you want...above & beyond. I wish more people got on here and left good reviews because I know there are thousands. These artists care about their clients, safe technique and having an epic outcome! If you've had a less than favorable experience here in the past, I encourage you to come back and give them another chance! And for all of you who have had a good experience with them or a great experience with them...don't forget after your next one to pop on here, and say a word or two about that! Rude af, claim they take walk in's but they beg you to schedule when you get there, Keith I think was his name reeked if alcohol and the lady was rude off the bat. They act like they don't want your business. The inside is run down couches with holes in them and it just looks dirty and unsanitary. Will not be back thank god I didn't let anyone in there ink my body. read more

It was pretty busy for a Sunday. Heath not only gave me some ideas for fonts but found one I fell in love with. I'm not sure of the other two peoples names, but they were taking walk ins, doing piercings, really made sure people were getting a good tattoo instead of just on a whim tat. I had walked in to get a small tattoo on my wrist, I was tattooed by Dusty. He did a great job, he gave good advice on how the tattoo should be colored in. I was wanting to get a simple tattoo with no shading , just an outline. When it came to drawing up my idea , the artist Heath drew it(free handed) and using a reference photo, Heath then gave the sketch to review and the lines were so shaky and didn't match up to what shown in the photo given and when I asked for him to fix up the line work , he responded with a snarky "there's no way you're telling me that my lines aren't straight", when instead he should have tried to work it out and see what else we could do to make up something that I was satisfied with since this that was going on my body PERMANENTLY. He caught an attitude with me and took the drawing back, then switched me out ( probably best since I was then not comfortable having being someone tattoo me that was already annoyed by my simple request)to another artist name Ashley , very sweet and easy to work with and drew exactly what I wanted with no problems compared to her coworker. Absolutely amazing!!!!! Dusty did all of my fiancé's tattoos so I went this weekend for him to do one of mine. I sent him 3 pictures that I wanted combined into one and he did a perfect job!!! I was in the shop the other day. The artist were not wearing face masks which should have been required. I was with my friend and she was getting tattooed I was planning on getting something but as soon as we walked in my stomach dropped . Their was dust everywhere and floors had carpet which is a no no in the tattoo industry. The artist put on his gloves and asked my friend which arm she wanted. She replies with the left as her right arm was displayed next to the artist so WITH GLOVES ON!!! Spins the chair around which had dust caked up on it and pulled her back a bit. Keep in mind he didn't change gloves before tattooing her! Infection waiting to happen!!!! read more
