I wouldn't have her put on all that oil afterwards though if I went back because my lashes didn't stay lifted for that long. I've also had my brows waxed and they were good as well. But unfortunately I will not be back because of the fact I was charged $40 for a last minute cancellation fee which under normal circumstances would be fine. Except the fact it was basically her fault because I was pretty sure I had made the appointment but it was two months earlier so I wasn't 100% sure. Sooo, I logged into her website and it didn't show that I had any appointments. It showed the three I had before. Two I completed and one I had to reschedule. I also couldn't find the email at all. Not in my spam, trash, important emails or in the inbox. So, when my work asked me to do my training this week I said yes that works. So when I get a reminder text the day before my appointment you can bet your a_ _ I was surprised. And by that point I can not just stop my training. So I reached out to her and she said she had other clients say the same thing but you gotta pay anyway. Well you go ahead and take that $40 instead of a reoccurring client that would tip well and continue to be loyal.

I've been coming to Erika for almost three years now and her work is always fantastic. I get sugared once a month and it's been a game changer. Lash Lift and Tint w/Erika:…read more I have had lift and tint services over the years at various places, and this was by far the best experience I have ever had with this service. It is normal to have a little bit of stinging in one or both eyes once the treatment is over and you open and blink your eyes a few times. The solutions used cause this if they touch your eye. I did not even in the slightest have any stinging sensations during or following the treatment. I was extremely impressed by that alone, before even seeing the results of the lift. The results were impressive on top of the gentle care of the treatment. I chose an "L" shape roller vs. a "C" shape roller, giving my lashes a more stick straight up look. I feel it made my lashes look longer than previous "C" roller lifts I have had in the past. Erika described the difference of the two types and allowed me to choose before the treatment. I have also in the past had the tips of my lashes coil tightly in on themselves from lifts at other salons. This lift came out perfectly and very natural looking. And they still look exactly the same and as amazing the next day. In the past I have noticed the amount of curl and lift being less the next day. My only constructive feedback would be to encourage the client to take a break... even if they say they're fine... Had a poor experience when trying to get my navel re-pierced after it had closed in recent months…read more(had an established piercing for years, done elsewhere). Had booked an appointment several weeks prior. At the time of re-piercing, it did not align with where the marked "dots" had been drawn prior to the needle stick. If it wasn't going to be pierced in the same exact spot as discussed prior to the piercing, then I'd rather just be told so and not get it. Also the length of the ring used for the attempted piercing was short (like a regular replacement ring you'd use after it's all healed); it wasn't long enough for a new piercing. It seemed she was trying to make the new piercing length on my navel fit the available ring she had (also the ring had a jagged-edged jewel on it, not a nice round, plain ball top. It would have gotten caught on everything and been a nightmare during healing). I didn't want an entirely different scar. That's exactly what I was trying to avoid, and had communicated this prior to piercing. The new piercing was so unsightly, it was upsetting to me. Bottom line, I asked for it to be removed and I left. Then I had to let my navel heal up for awhile. It's like going through healing but no piercing to show for it. I'll be extremely cautious about letting anyone touch my navel again.

I stumbled across Jenn on Yelp and also checked out her Instagram, and decided to book with her. My first appointment with her was fun, because we discovered that we were super close in our pregnancies - her daughter was born a month or so before my son, so we always had that to connect with each other during appointments! Fast forward to now, and I love my appointments with Jenn! It's so fun to chat with her and be able to connect with someone who understands mom life and all the things that come with it. Beyond that, she's damn good at what she does! My lashes always look SO GOOD when I leave my appointments and I've had some insane retention in the past (not so much currently, as I'm going through postpartum hair loss... IYKYK). At my last appointment we did something really fun - added some pops of COLOR! So, some of my lashes are expertly placed and are blue and purple. I absolutely loooove them and I don't think I'll be going back. Lastly - Jenn is AMAZING about schedule flexibility.
