They had the best and most reviews compared to the other companies we looked at, and the best pricing. Johnny went out of his way to purchase the sink, faucet (both Kohler), and garbage disposal from Costco and passed the costs directly to us with no markup. The demo, new countertops, and all plumbing hookups were completed in about six hours. Our kitchen was only out of service for that single day, whereas other companies told us the installation could take several days. Not having a working kitchen for that long would have been a huge inconvenience. Inland Cabinets made the entire process smooth, quick, and stress-free. I highly recommend them.

When I sent pictures over to Johnny of our kitchen before he couldn't believe I wanted to change the counter tops and back splash. But even though it looked nice there were a ton of imperfections. So when Johnny came by he noticed a lot of "mickey mouse" things the flipper did to the house, dishwasher in the wrong place, sink not in the center, etc. So we ended up changing our lay out to be the correct way. In the matter of 2 weeks we had a whole new kitchen. The attention to detail his crew provides is unmatched and his prompt communication is very rare in this type of field. I don't enjoy…read moredragging somebody's business, but I also don't enjoy spending a large chunk of our hard saved money on garbage work and hopefully I can save somebody else from making the same mistake. I guess I will start by being open and up front and saying I put off doing this negative review for two years... we had such a terrible experience during installation of our LVP floors and the workmanship proved to not be great in the following year or two but my final straw that made me decide to finally write this review comes from being recently enlightened to yet ANOTHER issue with the quality of work. A couple of months ago we suffered severe water damage in our home and as a result, all of the LVP that Redstar installed in 2023 had to be ripped up and we found out they never even put a barrier under our flooring between it and the concrete. These guys cut SO many corners the entire job and this just has me livid again. SOME of the issues we had with Redstar- - What was supposed to be a 2wk job turned into 4wks - One of his workers stole a bottle of whiskey out of our cabinet. Had we noticed while the job was going on, we would have absolutely brought it up to Stan, however, we didn't notice it until we were moving furniture back into our house and at that point we were so sick of dealing with Redstar that we chose to let it go instead, however, there was absolutely nobody else in our house during this time (the house wasn't in living condition, so how could there have been?) so there's no way it was anybody else that took it. - Without our consent they modified our entry way steps almost permanently but we caught them. It was a rounded step down from the entry to our living room, Stan told us they could make the rounded edge work even with the LVP. We double checked with him because previous contractors told us no because it was round and the LVP is obviously not pliable but Stan said it was doable so we tr... well apparently his solution was to take the rounded edge and just make it a giant square! Which cut into our already small living room and looked horrendous! Thank God my husband works from home and came out of his office when he did, imagine his surprise that not only had they already framed the square out, but they were filling it with concrete without anybody even asking us if that was OK! It wasn't, they had to find another solution. - The house,was left FILTHY every day. Our kitchen was basically unusable the entire time. They made ZERO attempt to clean at all and make our home even remotely comfortable for us. I had to clean the kitchen daily to even be able to use a single countertop to make food. - Stan and his crew were supposed to level out some of the uneven flooring before installing the LVP and still, after already being installed, they had to rip up the floors, several places and level our area. They should have already done, but didn't because the floor would sink down or bend when you stepped on it. - Stan the owner was never on site unless we had an issue he had to come deal with. Idk where he got his workers but they were subpar, did subpar work. The only decent one who seemed to care at all was his supervisor Eric, who unfortunately also was rarely there until we were so fed up we demanded someone else finish the work. Very shortly after the work has been done , of talking within six months to a year max, there were already multiple planks that had cracked and we started noticing that the putty or whatever it is, they use in the joint of the flooring, was starting to fall out in multiple places. The only thing we clean our floors with warm water and vinegar so it's not like we were using harsh chemicals. I utilize Yelp a LOT for trusted recommendations on everything from food to construction services and everything in between and I felt guilty about not writing a negative review immediately after our experience with Stan and Redstar but to be completely honest, it was such a stressful experience (every day was something new, I dr dreaded coming home from work) on top of the fact that I was just done dealing with them on top of the fact that I didn't want to say anything negative that could possibly get in the way of our "1yr warranted on the work" if we need them to come back for anything so I just kept my mouth shut but honestly, I feel like this review needs to be put out there if it can save anyone from a fraction of the annoyance and headache we experienced with them! Finding out that the LVP was installed with zero barrier was my final straw. We paid over $13k for a shit job. I'll end it with this , our experience was so bad that we paid over $13,000 for the flooring, and when issues started to arise within the first year, we STILL didn't even want to bother contacting them to come fix the problems because we had SUCH a bad experience. We would rather eat it and deal with it than call them again.

Re: We would like to respectfully clarify a few points in response to Greg's reply message…read more Per Greg's direction, we were told to reconnect near the end of our project--specifically after countertops, finished plumbing and appliances were installed--so finishing work could be completed. Our appliances were installed in early May 2025, and we reached out accordingly, again during the summer and subsequent attempts without response, and again in December prior to move-in. At that time, we were told the remaining work would take approximately 1-2 days to complete. We have made consistent efforts over the past year to schedule completion, with extensive documentation (emails, texts, and call logs) showing multiple follow-ups from our side. There have also been several periods where we did not receive responses for weeks at a time. The cabinetry was largely installed in April 2025, at which point approximately 95% of the contract amount was paid as requested. Despite this, the project itself is not 95% complete and remains unfinished. To clarify, there was not a "9 month disappearance" as stated. There was a brief 2-day delay in April due to unrelated home issues, after which communication resumed and has continued since. We have an email acknowledging this from Greg with an apology. We also provided Greg with our contractor's contact information to coordinate final plumbing connections related to appliance installation. We have messages confirming this. Any difficulty connecting was not due to lack of access or coordination on our end. In December, after multiple attempts to obtain a timeline, we were told the project could be completed at the end of February. That timeframe passed without completion, and we were not proactively informed of any change or date. We followed up again and were told Greg was significantly behind on other projects and unable to provide a timeline. We then sent a formal request via email and text for a confirmed completion date and did not receive a response. At this point, several months have passed without a confirmed completion date for a project that has been largely paid for, which has been difficult to manage from a homeowner perspective. We have documentation of all communication and are happy to provide it for transparency if needed. Additionally, Greg is currently still in possession of some of our shelving, cabinet panels, doors, and mesh drawer components that we purchased. As of today, the remaining items include, but are not limited to: * Missing cabinet doors * Appliance panel installation * Mesh vegetable drawers * Missing and incomplete shelving (kitchen and living room nook, as well as inside cabinets) * Crown molding installation * Correction of uneven cabinet reveals (including at the island as shown in picture below) * Shelf edge banding/finishing showing exposed plywood and mismatched color * Visible gaps between cabinets and walls * Missing knobs and handles * Cabinet paint and stain touch-ups These items were expected to be completed to achieve the custom cabinetry finish that was discussed. We have photo documentation of these outstanding items. Throughout this process, we have remained professional and patient in our communication. All correspondence has been respectful and documented. We have made multiple good-faith efforts to resolve this directly, but to date have not received a confirmed plan, response to our formal messages, email or date for completion. Our goal has always been to complete the project professionally and bring it to a close. We have waiting patiently for months and still remain open to resolving this, but we do need clear communication and a confirmed plan and date to finish the work.

Buyer Beware. We hired Cabinet Wholesalers for a bathroom…read moreremodel that resulted in serious defects, including plumbing leaks, water damage, mold, tile failure, and cracked shower walls. Independent licensed professionals determined the shower installation failed systemically and had to be fully demolished and rebuilt. While partial reimbursement was provided for initial mold remediation and limited tile repair, Cabinet Wholesalers ultimately refused to honor the warranty and pay the full cost of correction unless we agreed to use their crew to perform the repairs--a condition that was not stated anywhere in the contract, despite the extensive prior failures. As a result, we were forced to file a complaint with the CSLB and pursue a contractor bond claim. This was an extremely stressful and costly experience. Proceed with caution.
