Awesome cages!!! Love the fact that it is on dirt!!! The owner is a pitching and batting instructor and knows what she is doing. She also cares for her students and how they are doing in life as well as in softball. My girls have been going there for 14 years!!! I love the fact that it is small so only one team is allowed at a time so you don't have the chaos of several teams at once and the players can focus on their coach's instruction!!! I am a long-time Manager and Coach for both baseball and softball. Finding a reliable and economical place to get your team to practice their hitting in the Riverside area. Also in the Fall when the weather can be unreliable, it helps to have something indoors. Well, Inland Indoor Batting Cages is my 100% go to for all my batting practices. There are two cages that you can reserve for one hour, all you need to do is text the owner Denise and she will get you scheduled. This is perfect for a full team, and the kids can alternate based on varied speeds of the machines (if you choose to vary the speeds). It is self-paced, meaning me as a coach (along with my other coaches) can take time between pitches to provide instruction or just give the kid a breather. And unlike some other typical outdoor automated machines, I haven't run into a jammed machine, a wild machine or any other machine issue. Another important point is that although this is indoor, the kids are swinging on dirt just like in real conditions. The space is relatively small so there's not a lot of "hang out" space, however the environment is conducive to a focus on the hitting and actually allows for kids to see how the other kids are doing. In my opinion, these batting cages are a hidden jewel within a business park. I am grateful for what Denise is able to provide, and this has helped my players achieve wonderful things on the field. STAY AWAY‼ THE WORST BATTING CAGE EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA‼ I love the fact that the cages are dirt. However it becomes unpractical when it's unkept. The batter boxes have deep wide ruts (for right handed batters) which makes for a bad BP session. Waste of an hour. Maybe not all, but this was the case for the tunnel we were in. Customer service is VERY BAD. Upon arrival I was treated rude for something so insignificant that a simple "could you please ...." would have sufficed. I was short on balls so one of my coaches was trying to help me by giving me some of the balls from his tunnel. Apparently some of the dimpled balls are specifically used with certain machines. It was an honest mistake, but the person in charge was again rude and condescending when advising me of the mistake I had made. As if I intentionally was trying to sabotage the balls. read more

Horrible horrible!! From the moment I tried to park.l to the time the team started their cages. The owner or whoever the women carrying around her dog, came at my husband and I rudely telling us to either move out from where we parked or that we needed to move all the way back! I don't mind when people have manners and ask customers politely. But she did not, she was rude and out of line. No customer service whatsoever. There's is a horrible stench when walking in, there's no room for parents to sit and wait for their player. Players are jammed waiting their turn as you can see in the pics there's dust all in the air, which you can't really see in the pictures but the room is filled with dust. Love this place. Indoor, true clay floors, easy scheduling, helpful staff...what more could a coach & mom need? Over the past four years we have brought a team here to use the dirt batting cages on a weekly basis. The cages are maintained well, the pitching machines are accurate, the balls are in excellent condition, and the price is more than fair. They also offer private catching lessons that multiple girls from our team used over the years. We have seen beginning catchers completely change their capabilities over the coarse of weeks. You can take private pitching lessons with Denise. She has been teaching young girls and women how to pitch for over thirty years. She has dozens of students that have received partial and full ride scholarships for their pitching & hitting abilities. If you are a coach - get in on this excellent spot for hitting practice. If you are a parent - you have got to experience the knowledge that these women can teach your daughter. Softball is a sport played on dirt, so we should have the girls practice on dirt. If you don't like dirt, maybe volleyball is a better option since there is no dirt inside a gymnasium. And just so everyone is aware, you only get to pet the puppies if you're special!! Pro's: Close to home, affordable, friendly, professional, clean restroom on site, parking on site, cash or venmo payments, weekly scheduling, clay floors in the cages, bats if you forget yours at home, accurate machines, loving puppies. great cages! i grew up going here, i did batting and pitching lessons for 10+ years. still visit occasionally with my nieces and i always recommend their teams to go here for batting practice (and their pitchers for pitching lessons) which they do and end up loving it! dirt cages which are awesome and great for practice. very well kept up and very clean. easy to find, easy parking and great customer service. indoors which is a huge plus, especially in the heat. i loved spending as many years here as i did, and cant wait for my daughter to do the same. highly recommended! read more

These cages are the only ones my husband will take his softball teams to for batting practice. The machines are well maintained, the dirt floors are groomed regularly, and the balls are always in good condition. Also the pitching, hitting and catching instructors here are the best. My girls have been taking private lessons there for over a year and we couldn't be more pleased by the results. read more
