When the insurance didn't want to pay, why did I end up paying money out of my own pocket? I never signed any paper work... Looking back I'm ok with what I paid because I had pity for Juan and the cheap labor workers he uses for his job. I don't have ill feelings towards inland restoration and I wish Juan the best of luck...

Highly Recommend Inland Restoration!…read more I was referred to Inland Restoration by a friend after my washing machine leaked and caused water damage to my wood laminate floors. From start to finish, the experience was smooth, professional, and stress-free. Juan, the owner, came out the very next day to assess the damage. He took his time to thoroughly inspect everything, explained the situation in detail, and by that evening, he had a clear and fair quote ready for me. I really appreciated how transparent and responsive he was throughout the entire process. We scheduled the work in two parts--first the downstairs, then the stairs and upstairs. The job involved removing the damaged laminate and old carpet, and replacing everything with luxury premium vinyl. Juan's team showed up on time, carefully moved all my furniture and belongings, and got right to work. They kept me abreast of the work and schedule along the way. They cleaned up every night and meticulous with their work. Along the way, they discovered some issues from previous installations--an uneven kitchen floor and a bedroom floor that didn't meet the walls properly. Instead of just covering it up, they took the time to fix the problems before installing the new flooring. The result is absolutely beautiful and feels like a huge upgrade from what was there before. Juan and his crew were professional, detail-oriented, and truly went above and beyond. I couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend Inland Restoration to anyone in need of quality restoration or flooring work. Thank you again for a job well done!

They quoted us a number so high that we were suspicious that they were trying to take advantage of our insurance, and kept fear mongering additional services. We ended up contacting Elite Home Inspection to take a look at the damage, and they referred us to Joe at MPB for mold remediation. Upon meeting Joe, I felt so much more at ease compared to the other mold company we met. He was very responsive and reassured me that it was an easy and quick job. His pricing was also more in line with what we were expecting, and confirmed to us that the other company was trying to rip us off and scare us. Joe and his team worked quickly to get the job done thoroughly and efficiently. They were also very careful to keep any mess contained within the work area, and did an amazing job cleaning up afterwards. You wouldn't even know any mold happened after they finished! I highly recommend MPB for their customer service, pricing, and quality of work, and would definitely hire them again if we ever needed this service.

What really stood out is that his team may be small, but they are so efficient. They also left the space unbelievably clean, which I appreciated so much. You wouldn't even know there had been an issue to begin with. I'd 100% recommend going with MPB Restorations and Services. Reliable, hardworking, and genuinely care about doing a good job.

Chris quickly explained the process and filed the claim with the insurance company which then all the pieces started to fall into place. After dealing with a messy water damage in the bathroom and not knowing where to start; my bathroom got repaired in no time by Lartek Restoration. The team was professional and very knowledgeable, they were clean and used tarps and all the equipment to close off the area. On the hallways they used plastic to insure my floors were protected. Chris kept me informed every step of the way. I can honestly say, I would have been lost without his help. I have since used Chris for other needs as they DO IT ALL. If you need to file a claim, please don't do it alone. The insurance will try to get out of it. If you don't know, they will ask you questions to make it look like it was your fault. Don't do it alone and call Chris. Lartek is a family owned business and they will be there to help you with all your construction needs with or without insurance. Unfortunately, SERVPRO was on State Farm's recommended contractor list for our insurance claim. We were initially told the project would take three weeks, but it ultimately took five weeks. As a result, the senior homeowner had to stay in a motel for the entire five-week period. The following issues remain unresolved: 1. Door jams and trim work were not completed properly. Finish nails are protruding, the casing is uneven, and there was little to no surface preparation before painting. Only one coat of flat paint was applied despite the quote specifying two coats. It is also unclear why flat paint was used instead of semi-gloss on the trim. 2. The newly installed shower is approximately one inch wider than the original, causing the mixer valve to sit too far back. The valve had been replaced by our plumber prior to the project. This issue should have been identified and discussed before installation. Instead, an extension valve was installed that does not function properly. The shower head is mounted too low, the trim plate does not sit flush against the wall, and the caulking along the top of the shower remains incomplete. 3. In the master bathroom, the door is loose due to stripped screws and swings open on its own. The tile grout work is also substandard. 4. I was informed that the vanity we selected would not work. Alejandro assured me that everything would be new except for the existing drawer fronts and faces. Instead, the old vanity, fixtures, P-trap, water supply lines, faucet, and countertop were reinstalled. The quote stated that new materials would be provided. 5. No final walkthrough was conducted with subcontractors before the homeowner moved back in. The project extended beyond the estimated completion date, resulting in additional room-and-board expenses that State Farm covered. 6. The quote specified that angle stops would be removed and replaced, but this was not done. There is also an unfinished hole in the drywall near the toilet shutoff valve. 7. The homeowner moved back in over a month ago, yet the contractor lockbox remains attached to the front door. This should have been removed before occupancy. When I spoke with Josh, I was told most of the work would be completed in-house, but numerous subcontractors appear to have been involved. Regardless, the lockbox should be removed immediately. The homeowners do not want any contractors to return to the property. Overall, the project was poorly managed, communication was lacking, and the workmanship did not meet the standards outlined in the contract or expected from a contractor recommended by State Farm.
