I was so surprised that the place was pretty busy on a Saturday at 930am. The demographic was quite diverse from families with kids to people with friends and to couples. Lots of people brought their own clubs too. (Don't worry, they provide clubs and label them with large beginner ones too). The bays were comfortable. They had heating when it was about 50 and drizzling outside and I felt comfortable and warm. The games were easy to set up. I feel like I didn't fully grasp how to play and was just swinging the ball out there for the fun of it (still somehow ranked 2nd place among my friends :P) Our attendant was super helpful and checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The menu wasn't as expensive as I had imagined which is a plus too. The food did take a little bit of time to come out. Wish they provided water for the bays and napkins. I appreciated my time and can see the appeal. I'm glad there's one opening closer to me so hopefully I can go again and get a better grasp on the game!

Food was OK, as it always is here, but the mix up didn't help our overall service. We also never got one of our other orders - the flatbread. Still a fun time, but service could be improved.

It's a perfect setting for all golfers, noobs and veterans as well as casual and competitive. The staff is excellent and the course is always kept in great condition. The 18-hole, executive-style course runs nearly 3,300 yards with a Par 58. It's extremely fun to play and it is the perfect course for me to haphazardly stumble upon. No, I'm not a local, coming from about 35 minutes away and still play weekly during the season. I get to work on my irons and putting game while also reaching for the driver on a few holes. I'm doing myself a disservice by letting the secret out. Get out there, hit some balls and see for yourself!

Every time I have come the staff have been really friendly and helpful. The course is beautiful and challenging. I wouldn't say it is too long of a course but you better have some accuracy or you will be in for a long round! They also take good care of it too. The greens are well groomed and the fairways are pristine. I don't know the exact details on membership but it is a good option if you live in north jersey. Always like coming here! Unfortunately, you have to know a member to play here but if you know someone check it out!

However, I played a few days ago, and my group was harassed for several holes by the rangers, for no good reason. They wanted us to skip a hole, even though there were no golfers waiting on us. They claimed we were playing too slowly, although the group behind us were at least a full hole back. The rangers were rude to us and argumentative, ruining the enjoyment of our round. Then, when they came a hole later, they thanked us for speeding up, and making up the "15 minutes" we were supposedly behind. (We did not change our pace of play at all). I have been playing this course for years, but if this is how they treat paying customers going forward, I won't be back. Be warned!

Came to Golftec after developing some bad habits that i couldn't work out on my own (just made them…read moreworse). I worked with Ryan, very good experience working with him, knowledgable, patient, and was able to pinpoint some of my issues right away. Within one lesson he had my swing plane and ball striking much improved. Went from hitting an 8 iron 130-135 to 150, and taking the big hook/draw off my ball. A recurring injury has slowed me down quite a bit in recent months, but looking to head back when i'm ready, hopefully i start off where i left off. Only issue would be that if you go out for a course lesson it counts more towards your lessons.....1 course lesson counts as more days than an indoor lesson, they didn't mention that to me up front (still worth doing though).

The location is always clean and all of the equipment is always in working order. Not only had Brian been teaching me sound fundamental golf techniques, (which has greatly improved my ball striking) he has also expertly fitted me with all new clubs. I have to say that if your equipment is several years old you owe it to yourself to upgrade your equipment, (these guys are the ones to fit you ). But I just played it again and my experience was complete opposite this time. The course is clearly not being taken care of the way it used to be. The pace of play is absolutely outrageous. Came here on the weekend as a group of 4 and we were playing at an average to rushed pace and the group behind us literally started screaming to hurry up and were up our asses the entire time. It didn't help that management allowed them to tee up literally 5 mins after us. Then an old guy that worked there came out on his cart on multiple holes and told us to hurry up. I said we're not exactly playing slow so I don't know what you want from us. For the money we paid (which was way too much for this place) we should be able to have fun and play at a relaxed pace. This is supposed to be a peaceful game. I 100% will never be coming back here again after this experience.
