We came here with a group of friends for a night out of mini golf. This was my first time ever trying mini golf and I'm so glad I took my first swing here. From the music to the adult version of your favorite childhood snacks (mozzarella sticks, pizza, nachos and more) this place was a whole vibe. Time flies and the waiting lines weren't too bad, things kept moving and it's so much fun watching everyone make and miss their holes. Love that you can also get a cocktail or mocktail while you're playing without having to leave anywhere else and miss your spot. Such a fun place, would for sure come back here again! Fun experience in the neighborhood! Okay, let's talk pros and cons! Pros: Great atmosphere; the vibe in here is energetic - you want to have a good time. Didn't try the food but from what I saw, it looked good! Looks like a step higher than pub food, but nothing Michelin starred or guided. The drinks were delicious! My party of 4 received one free drink token each, I believe it comes with a round of mini golf! Also complimentary coat check, which we eagerly took advantage of! Cons: Sometimes the actual mini golfing can get convoluted and backed up. This may be controversial, but I think Swingers would do well with less reservations. It got too clogged on the course, sometimes detracting from the experience. I think they'd benefit so much with less people, creating a sense of exclusivity where you'd have to try hard for a reservation. I recently hosted a corporate management outing at Swingers, and unfortunately, it was one of the most frustrating hospitality experiences I've had, especially as someone who works in the hospitality industry. This was not a last-minute booking. I had been working with the Swingers events team for over three weeks planning this event. We prepaid for 20 guests, which was our expected attendance. Fortunately, more than 30 of our managers showed up, and I was thrilled to see such participation. I immediately gave your staff my credit card and asked to pay full price for every additional guest. I wasn't asking for a discount or any special accommodation simply to be charged for the extra attendees. Shockingly, this became a major operational issue. Multiple employees had to gather to figure out how to process additional paying guests while my team stood outside waiting. It was surprising to see several employees unable to determine how to accept more business from a corporate client willing to pay full price. The biggest disappointment came when one of my managers forgot her physical ID. I completely understand the importance of checking IDs and protecting your liquor license. I work in hospitality myself and appreciate those responsibilities. However, what should have been a simple management decision turned into a 40-minute ordeal. I explained that this was a pre-arranged corporate event, that approximately 30 members of our management team had already been admitted, and I even accessed our company's Workday HR system to show her official employee profile with her verified date of birth confirming she was well over 21 years old. Despite this, multiple employees, security, and managers spent over 40 minutes discussing the situation while repeatedly apologizing but offering no solution. At one point, I finally had to say, "I appreciate the apology, but I need a resolution." Eventually, they admitted her. Unfortunately, the operational issues didn't end there. After everyone was finally inside, I was informed that because our attendance exceeded the original RSVP, only 24 people could play mini golf even though every additional guest had paid admission. We adjusted our group and moved on. Later that evening, a staff member offered us the option to extend our reservation by another hour. I immediately agreed and offered my credit card. Once again, the employee had to leave to ask whether the extension could actually be processed, despite having presented it as an option. By the end of the evening, our company had spent nearly $5,000 for a three-hour event. What disappointed me most wasn't the policies, it was the complete lack of empowered decision-making. Every small issue required multiple employees, repeated discussions, and lengthy delays. The staff was polite, but apologies without action are not a substitute for effective hospitality. This was actually my third corporate event at Swingers, which makes this experience even more disappointing. Mind you, I will never be back. Hospitality is about solving problems quickly and making guests feel cared for. Unfortunately, I spent much of the evening resolving your operational challenges instead of enjoying time with my team. I sincerely hope Swingers invests in better operational training and empowers its managers to make reasonable decisions. Zero complaints about this place! We had a 6pm reservation, they told us to go to our location at 6:10pm to golf. In those 10 minutes, we checked in our coats (which is free), used the bathroom and got a round of drinks. The drinks were delicious! We Kept the tab open so we can order drinks while we golf. The mini golf is short, only 9 holes but def fun and very modern in there. It's decorated beautifully and smells like roses the min you walk in. The staff is nice and helpful. Loved the photo ops here too. After we were done with mini golf, we sat to eat and ordered a few things. I got the lemon pepper wings, mozz sticks and cheesy bread with pesto on it. All were delicious! My fave were the wings, but everything was awesome. My friend got meatballs and my husband got a pizza. We all shared of course but it was all great and came out pretty fast. My friend and i got dessert i got the strawberry cheesecake and she got the brownie. All were great but that brownie is something else! Amazing. Btw you can take anything you don't finish to go! Each hole is really creative, and I appreciated that they weren't overly difficult (thankfully). There are only 9 holes, so it goes by fairly quickly, but there are two bars inside which makes it a great place to grab a drink and hang out. That said, it was very crowded and surprisingly hot inside, especially considering I went on a Wednesday after work! Overall, it's a great spot for dates, group outings, or team-building activities. Went here with two girlfriends last week - it was my first visit. My friend had planned a work event here a few months ago and since there was an issue with her party reservation, the venue awarded her comp vouchers for food/drinks and a reserved area, with 1 round of mini golf. I was pretty excited to experience this place for free, since I assumed it would be pricy otherwise. Just the round of 9 holes of mini golf is $28 per person. The club is in the basement so there's no natural light however its very bright inside with all the lights and décor. The music was blasting and the temperature was uncomfortably warm. It takes a long time for each party to be checked in and assigned a host. They should find ways to speed up this process. Once checked in, a host escorted us to the digital coat check, and then to our reserved area. As soon as we sat down, we had a server ready to help us. I will say that the service was abundant in our reserved area. There was constantly a different person stopping by to see if we needed anything. On the flip side, drink service on the golf course was painfully slow. It seemed like there was only one server for the entire course. It took him a long time to even make his way to take our drink order, and then it took an even longer time for those drinks to arrive to us. We decided to eat first in our reserved area and arranged for an 8 pm tee time. We ordered off the Emmy2 menu - I loved Emmy2 pizza and visit there often. We had the roni pizza, the brussels sprouts salad, waffle fries and the burger. Everything was good although the sauce on the burger was a bit spicy - I don't remember the Emmy sauce being that spicy. We also tried a few different cocktails - their drinks were on the sweeter/sugary side - but good. I had a raspberry lemon drop, a pimms par cup, and the easy does it spritz. Of the 3, the spritz was my favorite. We also sampled dessert (since why not - it was free) after our round of golf. The churros came out warm and fresh - so good. The soft serve did not taste like soft serve... it seemed like a dairy free substitute - it never even melted. Would not recommend. The brownie with vanilla ice cream was much better. The reserved areas would benefit from displaying sports on the digital screens in the area. There was a little tv but it was a board with reservation names on it. Now the last part of my review - the golf. You don't get to choose which of the 3 mini golf courses you play - they bring you to whatever is available at the time of your tee time. My friend was disappointed since she was hoping to play a different course than what she played the first time she was there. They definitely lose a point for this. We were on the windmill course. The holes were all different and fun. A couple of the holes would have benefited from more lighting - ie the one under the gazebo. The course did get a bit confusing to follow - groups ended up playing the holes out of order since they mistakenly jumped ahead. Play ended up getting very backed up and we had to wait around for a bit while other groups finished. There isn't that much room to stand around waiting - feels very cramped when its busy. Overall, I had a fun time and think this place is fun for groups for a special occasion. From a value perspective, if it I was paying for it out of my own pocket, it would have felt overpriced to me. read more

This place usually caters to adults but they allow children on Sundays in the afternoon. My niece loves mini golf so we took a trip here on a Sunday. It's best to make a reservation I think as it was pretty busy. You check in upstairs and they direct you downstairs to the cashier to pay for what you want to do. I believe there's an elevator as well. There are AI pictures of famous s people playing golf coming down the steps which is cool. There is also a coat check and bar, where they have cocktails and mocktails. Once it's your time, you check into the entrance of the mini golf area and get your clubs, balls and scorecard. It's 9 holes and it's pretty fun I also noticed booths and a larger area in the back but they were both roped off. I would definitely come back. Swingers was a fun night out. The mini golf courses are all challenging but at only 9 holes, it does not take too long to get through the whole game. Even large groups move through the holes quickly as there is a 6 putt limit on each turn, so you don't take forever trying to get the ball in. The space is massive and intricate. The decor is stunning and there is ample space for seating and hanging out. There are multiple bars throughout, which is helpful when you have to use your drink voucher tickets. Vouchers cover drinks up to $17. There's a cafeteria area for food (Tacos and pizza, the dessert option was closed sadly) and a server to take your order. We had the vodka pizza from Emmy Squared and it was delicious. We also shared some chips and guacamole. The drinks at Swingers really stand out. They're good without being too sweet or too full of alcohol. They have a massive menu as well. I had the City Swingers Spritz and a Signature G&T, both drinks were great, and well presented. The staff from the check in, to the bar, to the food, etc were all friendly and attentive. The space can be a little loud and overwhelming especially on a weekend but it's a fun time. Went to Swingers for a friend's birthday! From the street, it doesn't look as big as it is. When you go down the stairs, lined with celebrity faces photoshopped on bodies of golf players, you're met with a huge, whimsical bar! It was fit with flowers, photo ops, large seating, and amazing staff welcoming you. We had a section that we sat in. Our package came with one food voucher and for drink vouchers, which were valued up to $17 per voucher. The service was quick and the food and drinks were delicious. When our time to mini golf came, they took us around to the back. I like that they had multiple areas to mini golf so it didn't feel like there were so many people going at one time. The holes were cool but again since it was mini golf, they were only nine holes and it felt like it went quick. We still really did enjoy the activity though! This place is so conveniently located and right next to K-town which is even better (can never be too far away from soju lol). Smells amazing the second you walk in and when you get downstairs it's like whoaaaa sooo coooOoOol lol. What a beautiful space and much larger than you initially think. This place can def get crowded but still a fun idea for a date night - not the first one though because it's kind of pricey so you might want to see if they're worth taking, real talk. I walked in earlier than my party and immediately walked to the area they served food. Once again, a little pricey for just a small burger with only a pickle but that burger was GOOD- it was that pretzel bun that did it hands down. Sever was witty and nice, my burger came out relatively quickly and I scarfed that bad boy down. On to the games! It was fun but also felt rushed which is probably why I wouldn't play here again unless it was a dead night. There was a huge group behind us and two love birds in front who kept stopping to make out. I mean do you, but damn be a little considerate and hurry TF up. Super annoying. Other than that, just loved the lighting and setup - created a cool vibe. But alas, I sucked anyway. All in all, I'd come here again just to sit around and people watch with a fancy cocktail. Overall a fun time to get together with friends for a quick round of mini golf and drinks. Came here on a Saturday evening, which we were able to walk-in, although it was an hour wait until our tee time, so we got a few drinks from the bar. Fair warning, the font on the menu is super small. I got whatever they called their Espresso Martini and then a Moscow Mule later on. Both are as good as you'd expect them to be. They really decked this place out to make it look like a garden and it's very IGable. There are 9 courses and all of them are super unique. I felt like we could have completed the entire course in under 10 minutes, but there were two to three groups in front of us we waited on every time we completed a course. The last course, if you get a hole in one, you get to spin a prize wheel. Only one of us hit a hole in one and won an another free round of mini golf with a plus one. The courses they have are timed in a way where the place as many people onto a course so you spend more time waiting to play each hole, and in turn are more likely to purchase drinks. The staff, at least the man handing out clubs, is incredibly rude. He was rude and snarky to the three groups ahead of my party. And, as expo he was condescending to us as well. Swingers Nomad is an underground adult playground filled with food, putt putt golf play, and party rooms. The space is cavernous and the play inspires lots of conversations. Wonderful time putt putting around and wonderful food. The burgers here are exceptional! I wish I had room for a second burger. Such a fun time! Never thought I would find mini golf in NYC but this was such a fun surprise. Went in with a few friends for girls night and stayed for a few drinks and snacks after playing. Wish there were a few more holes to play but each hole is exciting and challenging. Come early or you will be stuck waiting around for 20+ people playing in front of you. All the cocktails were tasty but for food, I would suggest the cheese fries and the pizza but honestly everything was pretty good.
