I was recently employeed by the owners and director of opporations to fill in for their handyman that was having health issues. I can honestly say, that all three locations were run top notch. From the second you walk in the door you are greeted by some of the finest, caring, and pet loving personal that actually take care of your babies like their very own. Each pup is treated with the love and compation every dog deserves, and play time is like watching a kindergarden class running arouund. And nap time is adorrable. once the original maintance man was able to return, it was really sad to go, but I am lucky enough to visit any of the 3 locations. A business like this runs entirely on your trust on whether or not they're doing what they say they're doing with your animal. I boarded my dog, Saint, here for 4 days over the Christmas holiday. I had heard nothing but wonderful things about this location, and it came highly recommended. The manager, Brooke, was very sweet and answered all my questions when I first came by the facility. I dropped my dog off the morning of the 24th and was told that he'd be given a temperament test immediately to see how he did with other dogs. I was not the least bit concerned about that because we go to the dog park every night and he loves playing with friends. When I called to see how he did on his temperament test, the person I spoke to said that he was "aggressive because his tail is always up". My dog is a mixed breed, and has a very short tail, and it literally never goes down. I tried to explain this to them but they said he was approved for small group play. I'd like to think that happened, but I have no proof that it did. The two videos that they posted on Facebook were of him by himself. I asked to see any pictures or video of him with any other dog and they could not provide one. When I picked him up on the 28th, I was horrified at the odor emanating off of his body. He smelled like he had been laying in urine for days! (They assured me that he had a cot in his room but I do not believe he did because he would never choose to lay in urine) They quickly tried to rush him off to a bath, but I became angry and told them I would bathe him at home. It was then that I noticed the horrific rash all over his body. An emergency vet visit later, I find out that he has a bacterial infection that had gotten really bad. He was given three prescriptions, and started with kennel cough the next day. The director Katie called me, and was very kind. She said there was no excuse for the way that he left their care. What if I had been gone an extra week? Would I have had a dog to come back to? I asked her how no one could have noticed how badly he was suffering and she had no answer. I told her I wanted to speak to the owner immediately. Here we are four days later and I've still yet to hear from the owner. Although to Katie's credit, she has called every day. Given the treatment here, I would never, ever, ever bring my dog back to this establishment. read more

We have been bringing our dog for daycare here for about four years. My dog runs to the door when he knows he's coming. He seems to really burn a lot of energy, and be happy about it. So that's why we keep coming. I would have given this 5 stars four years ago, but now I'd say it's about a three star experience. My dog likes it, but there are some tips for others I'll leave here, and some room for improvement on behalf of the establishment that I'll express that keep me from purchasing more services or coming more often. Tips- - Skip the grooming here, and take your dog elsewhere. My dog would always come home smelly, and the nail grinds would not always be great. Not sure how you come home from a bath smelly and dirtier than before Check out Scenthound down the street for a cleaner, more consistent bath experience. - They close between 12-2 for nap time. So, be aware you can't drop your dog off at this time without him being sent to isolation. On the days I don't make it by noon, I now just skip dropping him off at all because I bring him there to play not be stuck in a room alone. -some of the front desk staff is so sweet and they remember my puppy and his name! I love that! Room for improvement- - They used to be better at taking pictures of all the dogs. They have gotten a little less attentive to this, and since I can't see what my dog is doing on a camera, I wonder what he is up to. Also, when purchasing a treat, I wonder if he was ever given it because I didn't see it, and so I stopped buying the treats. Some days it seems like they post a ton, other days not so. - the front desk bookkeeping needs work. Many times I've had days taken from packages incorrectly, especially if I had purchased full vs half days. I've been told I had a credit, and then told I owed for things for the same account. The customer service handling the claims leaves a lot to be desired. You really have to be your own bookeeper here just in case. This has consistently been a problem I've the years. - The prices have increased A LOT since we have started going here in 2019. I understand inflation, and employees, but it's getting a bit too high and I've cut back the days I spend here. The half day rate is not even worth considering doing anymore. They used to offer packages and specials at sizable discounts, but now their packages are hardly a savings at all. To save 1.20 per visit for buying a five pack, (which you are held to an expiration date) makes no sense to me as a buyer. If your packages deals were a bit better, I'd probably buy more, come more often because I'd be sticking to an expiration date. Instead I pay a La carte, and don't worry about expirations. This was also the first year I didn't see a Black Friday special, which was disappointing. But again, I'll probably just come less because I'm not locked into a package. Raising prices is a must at times, but I think you are missing out on business in some areas because some services are now too high. But, all in all, we still come. Not as often, because the price isn't really right anymore and the employee turnover seems high so it's prone to more mistakes. So far puppy still enjoys it. But if there were a competitor near here, I'd say it be worth exploring other options as well. read more

I have been taking my dog to Inn The Dog House for almost 4 years already. She absolutely loves it! She knows it as "camp" when I ask her if she's ready to go. She does the dance of joy in the car as we pull into the parking lot. She loves the staff and can not enter or exit without greeting everyone on shift behind the desk. I have boarded her several times and she always does well eating, sleeping, and playing with her friends. I'm completely comfortable leaving her in their care. Doesn't seem like they know how to handle a difficult dog situation. My dogs just don't like to be groomed so they tried to charge me extra for the dogs poor behavior. The grooming services are subpar. My dog leaves there with an ear infection every time. I've been going to them for years, but I refuse to take my dogs here anymore. Their customer service has really gone downhill and it must mean they are using dirty tools to groom my dogs if my dog continually got ear infections after leaving the groomer. I do not recommend their grooming services or their boarding services. They are dirty and the place is run by teenagers who really don't care about the business. read more

I have a four-year-old English bulldog and I am VERY skeptical about who watches him. My fiancé and I have boarded our bulldog at The Dog House about 4 to 5 times now anywhere from 3-6 day stays. The staff is very welcoming, assuring and competent. My dog has a blast as they post your pets on their Instagram. (I love that they do this) You can call whenever and ask for updates. Frank the manager is the best. He is professional, kind and accommodating. My bulldog had acquired a limp in his leg (at home) and needed to be boarded for a few days. I was overwhelmed for so many reasons. Frank was kind enough to send me daily personal videos of Winston to help keep track of his progress. The staff kept him isolated away from other dogs and made sure to give him extra TLC. Frank really put my mind at ease by sending me videos and giving me daily progress notes on Winston. My 16 month old has been going there since he was 3 months old, 4 days a week, for 4 hours a day and when our schedule is overloaded he stays for sometimes up to 8 hours. They are very flexible and accommodating! And, the best part is he gets activity, playing with pups and they make sure he gets along with and match his personality and temperament.
