Service was quite leisurely, taking several minutes to receive water and then another several to place the order. We decided on the pimento cheese for the table, the seared tuna for me and the hot honey prosciutto flatbread for her. To drink I got the red flight and she got the cab. The wine was drinkable but seemed very much like table wine. Nothing unique nor worth the price. My seared tuna was good, her flatbread was incorrect with buffalo sauce instead of hot honey and the pimento cheese was forgotten. Several more minutes before the pimento cheese was delivered. They apologized and said they would comp 1 wine or a dessert. I had finished my tuna before her flatbread was delivered that came with some sort of buffalo-mayo sauce, still not hot honey which was the only reason she ordered it. When the bill arrived there 2 wine flights ordered. We wanted to like this place but we won't be returning.

In terms of location, it's pretty far from Charlotte, but deceptively close to Rock Hill. If you're looking for a weekend getaway that really is a getaway, check out Harmony House. There are 4 rooms and we stayed in the Glencairn Room. Slight drawbacks: no internet service and the shower is really small in this room. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served each morning in our room. The rate was very reasonable at just under $80 per night. Again the location was convenient for access to all of the Rock Hill area and especially Winthrop.
