Dozens of times until the 15 minute window closed. Waited 15 minutes, tried again. Same. Called directly. Manager took my phone number and room request. Promised to call back. Half hour later, I went to booking.com. 3 tries later it went through. Told this to receptionist on check-in and was told the person who I spoke with was manager!?! Hotel is clean, room looked nice. However, sink was cracked. And then the clunking started. We heard something in the bathroom that sounded like it was randomly hitting the walls. It wasn't long, and stopped, so we laughed and went to sleep. At 5.45 the next morning, someone took a shower and it wasn't so random. End of our sleep. Then a second...I recorded it, got dressed and went to the desk. Played it for night desk person and showed him sink image. He added it to notebook. Went to room, more random clinking as other guests used their water. Quickly packed, headed for breakfast. Reported again, playing audio for morning manager. "So sorry". That's it. Meh Word of warning...nice looking hotel, but if you have any room issues no matter how late it is and unpacked...CHANGE ROOM.

Our server, Natasha was attentive, informative and extremely friendly. She went above and beyond the normal service and even let us borrow her phone charger. The view was beautiful and music was wonderful. After our meal, Erin took us on a tour of all the rooms in the bed and breakfast and the story behind this lovely establishment. We decided on the pimento cheese for the table, the seared tuna for me and the hot honey prosciutto flatbread for her. To drink I got the red flight and she got the cab. The wine was drinkable but seemed very much like table wine. Nothing unique nor worth the price. My seared tuna was good, her flatbread was incorrect with buffalo sauce instead of hot honey and the pimento cheese was forgotten. Several more minutes before the pimento cheese was delivered. They apologized and said they would comp 1 wine or a dessert. I had finished my tuna before her flatbread was delivered that came with some sort of buffalo-mayo sauce, still not hot honey which was the only reason she ordered it. When the bill arrived there 2 wine flights ordered. We wanted to like this place but we won't be returning.

They are pet friendly with a fee, which is understandable. We brought our dogs, and felt safe walking them around the property to go potty. There are trash cans by every entrance so disposing of potty bags is no issue. The complimentary breakfast was actually pretty good. I almost never eat the free breakfast, because, again, I am super nitpicky, but they had muffins, coffee and fruit that was good. My husband and son enjoyed omelets and sausage. We would absolutely stay here again!

That and I had stayed at another Cambria in downtown Dallas that I really liked. For a nightcap, I enjoyed a couple local IPA's from the rooftop skybar. Very pleasant drinking outside on a mid February evening! The rooms are great. Sleek and stylish. Big lineup of channels on the TV. Fridge, but no microwave. Comfy bed. Slept great. Most importantly you are able to get the room pretty close to pitch dark. Makes a huge difference for me in how I sleep. Will look for Cambrias to stay at again in the future.

It's close to my in-law's house where our young daughter was staying for the night, 2. We wanted an in-house restaurant so we didn't have to go out and wait for a table on a Friday night and 3. Because it looked so nice in the pictures. We were more than happy with our experience. The hotel itself was so clean and well kept. My husband is a bit of a germaphobe and usually has several things to say about any room we stay in. He had zero complaints this time, I was shocked! Literally every member of staff that we passed took time to look us in the eye, smile, and greet us. More than one stopped to ask how we were enjoying our stay. As someone who worked in customer service for 7 years, I REALLY appreciate when employees take the time to be personable. We went down to the restaurant for dinner but decided we wanted to eat in the room. The nice woman taking our order said she could have the food delivered to us. I expected styrofoam take-out boxes in a plastic bag, since I hadn't seen any mention of room service being offered, but when it arrived the food was beautifully plated on glass plates and a nice tray. The food was very good. My only complaint was that it was lacking salt on some of the dishes but the hotel provided salt and pepper packets with the cutlery so it was easily remedied. The bed was very comfortable and linens were all very soft and nice. Two observations just as a heads up to future guests. There was no microwave in the room. Looking back at the listing it was not mentioned in the list of amenities, I had just assumed there would be one. It didn't affect our stay much, we had just wanted to reheat some leftovers. I didn't have the chance to look around to see if they offered a microwave in a communal area. Second observation was that essential oils are not allowed in the rooms. I usually like to diffuse oils so I was a bit disappointed, but I do understand them not wanting lingering smells or oil spills in their otherwise immaculate rooms. Neither of these things were big enough to complain about or drop a star for. We will definitely be staying here again and enjoying the restaurant while we're there.
