I plan on going back to attend a wine vineyard tour in the fall, maybe book a room. They have events thru out the year, you can also rent a room to make your time more special. We first visited last summer for a cozy birthday celebration for my husband and have returned a few times since...each experience better than the last. The owner, and her fiancé , are a delight to communicate with, and their passion for what they truly shines. We had dinner last night during their Sunset Series - Live Music. The entertainment was good, atmosphere was peaceful, and the view of the grounds were beautiful. My husband and I ordered the pork tenderloin...hands down, the best I've ever had. The chef even came out to clear our plates and even shared how she prepared it...such a kind gesture. Even though I'm not currently drinking, I still had a wonderful time sipping water and enjoying every moment. Laurel Haven is a place you'll want to return to again and again.

Nothing is closer than The Book & the Spindle Bed & Breakfast just across the street from Tillman Hall. We really enjoyed our 2 night stay and Pam Bowen, the Proprietor, was a very gracious host. There are 4 rooms and we stayed in the Glencairn Room. Slight drawbacks: no internet service and the shower is really small in this room. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. A delicious breakfast was served each morning in our room. The rate was very reasonable at just under $80 per night. Again the location was convenient for access to all of the Rock Hill area and especially Winthrop.

Just put us in a stinky smoking room. The sink takes 15 minutes to drain and the tub is stained. Very disappointing.

It was covered up by a sheet and would have been easily seen had the housekeeping staff done their job. This is something that they should have addressed right away when the house keeping seen it but didn't. This place is very unsanitary for them to allow this.
