We arrived on a Saturday, which Garrett informed me was their busiest time. He and Eduardo greeted us warmly, and after a brief conversation, we began looking around the showroom. Several things struck me immediately: 1. The showroom was clean and orderly. 2. Garrett and Eduardo were extremely approachable and kind. 3. There was a great selection of furniture on display. We had an idea of the style we wanted and quickly started browsing. Once we made our decision, we sat down with Garrett to finalize the details. Before we knew it, we had everything squared away and were ready to leave. As I entered, before the door even closed behind me, one of the employees was rushing to inform me that no strollers were allowed. No pleasant greeting, no hello. Just a "ma'am we don't allow strollers". I expressed my dissatisfaction; to which her response was that's the owners rule. I noted that I hoped they would share with the owner how difficult that makes it to shop when you have children with you. Next thing I know another lady comes around the corner with the owner himself. He offered no apologies, just restated that's the rule. Told me I could carry the baby. I am a small framed woman so toting around a 25 pound baby for any duration would be no easy task. When I expressed that to him he had the audacity to suggest I leave my grandson with the office ladies while I shopped. WHAT!!?? Your solution is for me to leave the baby with strangers!! I informed him that he had most certainly lost my business. He didn't care. Watched me walk right out the door. I will never do business with this place!

We bought over a million dollars of office furniture from Larner's when we built our office…read morebuilding in Charlotte, NC in 2015. Within the first year or 2, a handful of the black leather vinyl chairs we bought for our conference rooms began to peel. We reached out to Larner's to let them know, and they said the manufacturer wouldn't cover it under warranty, as they deemed it normal wear and tear. since then, almost All of the chairs covering has worn off and torn. We have been trying to work with Larner's to have either the manufacturer help us with replacement material or a better deal on replacement chairs, but Larner's came back at first saying the manufacturer had a cease and desist order to not stock or produce any chair that looks like the chairs we have and they sold off all of their parts. But then they turn around trying to sell us a chair that looks almost identical to the chairs we originally had, from the same manufacturer for more than what we bought the other chairs for. On a phone call to the owner of Larner's, when we tried to discuss the issues we have had and explain that the chairs were bad chairs, the owner dismissed the issue, claiming we must have used a chemical to clean the chairs and that is why this happened prematurely, when in fact, that was not the case. This is the worst of the issues with the furniture sold to us. We also had issues with the regular desk chairs the entire time, with arms constantly falling off or coming loose and backs and bases breaking. For the first 4 or so years, they fixed it under warranty, then after that, we paid to have them fixed, and now they can no longer fix them. I would caution doing business with this company as they certainly are not the partner that they promised they would be.
