The facial was really wonderful and relaxing - no intense scents, super calming with some massage in there that was awesome. We then had individual massages by Tracy. Unfortunately that was not the greatest, WAY too gentle, WAY too much oil, and hardly felt relieved nor relaxed after - I kept thinking "when is this massage going to start" even after for more pressure. My partner had the same experience as well. I would totally be open to going back if there were other massage therapists though I will say, given the amount of $$ I was really hoping for a better experience.

This is not the first time I've been injured here--previously, I developed a fungal infection in my big toe after a pedicure, which caused my nail to separate. Because of that, I stopped getting pedicures there but continued going for my nails since I liked how they looked. This visit was different. The technician, who mentioned she previously owned a shop in the Bronx, repeatedly ignored my requests not to buff my nails. I explained multiple times that my nails are very thin, but she continued anyway, even when I pulled my hand away. She kept saying "just a little," but it was clearly too much. After the service, I could visibly see blood forming under my nail. Within three days, two of my nails had already fallen off. When another staff member noticed, they had her remove the rest of the set--but even then, she continued to buff my nails again despite me asking her to stop. She claimed she was trying to "lift the blood" from under the nail, which was extremely concerning. A male staff member eventually stepped in, confirmed that my nails had been over-buffed, and redid my full set for free. He was gentle and applied nail hardener, but by then, the damage was already done. Two weeks later, I have now lost half of my thumbnail and have been treating it. This experience was painful, stressful, and completely avoidable. I will not be returning.

The owner, Jacqueline, and her entire staff are truly professionals who know what they are doing. They understand each customer's unique needs and tailor their services to match the client's needs. Every now and then I go in for a massage to help with a bad back. No matter who I get they always do an amazing job and I walk away feeling refreshed and recharged. I got my girlfriend a couple gift cards in the last few years and she absolutely loves the place as well. Everybody was nice to me when I walked in and made me feel at home.
