I went today to get my eyebrows waxed by Dawn. I use to only get my eyebrows threaded because I got them waxed once at a different place and had a horrible burn and allergic reaction. I was so NERVOUS! I called a few weeks ago to inquire and they said they had soy wax. The results were beautiful. No allergic reaction or burn. Dawn was lovely- welcoming and personable. read more

I have been going to Inner Beauty Day Spa for a few years now and highly recommend their services. I go for regular facials with Dawn and I have had an occasional massage there as well. Everyone at Inner Beauty is professional, very friendly and accommodating. Dawn is very knowledgeable about skin care and all of the products that are used. She has given me very good advice about what products are the best for my skin type and how to use them properly. I have seen my skin improve dramatically since I started going for regular facials and changed my cleansing routine. Jackie, the owner of Inner Beauty, is a gem! I was having terrible back pain and called to see if I could come in for a massage. There was not a masseuse scheduled to work that day but Jackie made a few calls and got someone in for me later that afternoon. The masseuse listened to my description of the pain I was in and was able to massage it out. She also gave me some stretches to do that have continued to help me. I have great respect for Jackie as not only has she has built a beautiful business that is totally devoted to her clients well being, unlike the other spas in this area, she uses all organic products as well. read more

Worst place EVER. I got my hair and makeup done here for my wedding two years ago. I had a hair trail run a few months before, which went great-I purposely left it in for over 12 hours to see how it held up. It was perfect. Then, on the most important vanity day of my life, I got to the salon and was informed that the girl who did my trial wasn't there because she was on maternity leave. I didn't even know she was pregnant and was a bit annoyed but the girl who was filling in seemed nice so I let it go. I left with my hair intact and by the time I was in my dressing room at the venue, it was already falling out. DURING MY CEREMONY, my veil completely fell out of the bottom of my updo. I tried to fix it quick but had to give up and have my maid of honor hold it for me. By the end of the reception, about 4 hours later, it was a complete mess. As for my makeup, I have very long, very blonde eyelashes. The girl who did my makeup couldn't figure out how to put mascara on them. She put it just on the ends, farthest from my skin and when I questioned her, she told me not to worry, that it would look fine, and that she just couldn't get closer to my skin. What...?! How are you a makeup artist?! I left mad and had to redo the entire thing in my dressing room. I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone who had an important event to attend or, idk, host. read more

Went there a few weeks ago before leaving on vacation. One word... Amateurs. Left with dye on the back of my neck and hairline. I didn't realize that until I got home. Subpar haircut and style. I will not be going back This is NOT false. It was under another name. You were not there. I tried to tell her repeatedly what I wanted. I didn't say anything because the blowout was so awful when I left that I couldn't believe anyone would let me walk out and think that looks fine. I have shown many people photos of what I looked like and they were shocked. I'm sure you do a nice job for a lot of people. Believe me when I tell you, that was not my experience. Words cannot express how amazing Inner Beauty is! I've been going here for a few years now, and this past July I had my entire wedding party in for hair and makeup for my wedding day. Jacqueline and her entire team did an amazing job with all of us! Not only did we have access to the entire salon, but also the back spa room where they served us food and mimosas. I could not have been happier with how Christine did my hair, very romanic and natural, and each one of us was saying how we wish Jacqueline could do our makeup every day! Taylor did an awesome job on a few of my bridesmaids hair as well, including my 8 year old niece who got a matching braided up-style with her mom :). The services were amazing, but most of all the friendliness of the employees was above and beyond what was needed that day. Jacqueline is also so accommodating to every client that comes in. I just had a massage today with Teresa. She spent the first 15 minutes or so working on my jaw (I have TMJ). It was painful but it worked! I felt relieved as soon as she stopped. And Teresa joked and talked throughout it to help distract from the pain :) I told her that aside from my jaw I just wanted a relaxing massage before I went back to school...and that is definitely what I got! She used a combination of different techniques and I felt like she was really in tune with each part of my body and what it needed. I am a college student so I often struggle with whether or not it is worth it to spend the money on a massage when I am home, but all the therapists at Inner Beauty have never disappointed and I always leave feeling relaxed and satisfied! read more
