I was quite nervous. I had never done colonics before. I figured this would be great place to try it for the first time as I have heard that Tony Robbins goes here and because I know how into health and wellness he is, I believe he would only pick the best. From the moment I walked in to Inner Ecology I felt at ease. The lace is very inviting and homey. It's not all white and sterile, rather inviting and calming, like you are in someones home. Serena, the owner was so warm and comforting herself. She's probably the sweetest and most gentle woman I know. She stayed with me until I felt comfortable with the process. She explained everything in great detail so I was clear what was going on and what to expect. She constantly checked in on me and I was so grateful for her nurturing and kindness. I came in with Living Social deal for the first colonic and immediately bonded with her. When booking my appointment, I shared my personal issues and she suggested to begin with open system which totally helped. Unlike other places where I go (for the open system), she was very attentive, brought me heating pad to put on my tummy, adequate message to aid the release. She is also super friendly and not stingy on tips and suggestions. After I heard that she had released, on her 10th session, things that she ingested when she was 4 years old, I was determine to go through as many sessions as I needed to do a full clean out. Very odd experience, putting something up there and all. I came here after spending 2 weeks in Paris eating cheese, chocolates, beef, and pastries non-stop. I wanted to shock the system a bit, and purge. Once you get inside and meet Serena, all worries fly out the window. She is extremely professional and so warm, caring and personable that you feel right at ease. I am SO happy with Serena and Inner Ecology! I had been to one other place in the Valley before choosing Inner Ecology, partly because my preference lies in the Libbe (open) system and she has both open and closed machines. With the Libbe, I can have privacy and maintain my own time without much accompaniment from a provider. Luckily, Serena is helpful but never overbearing, respects boundaries and is certified in both Colon Hydrotherapy as well as Reiki. If desired, she can massage you during the Colonic. I basically use the system on my own now, but rely on her to check on me and give wonderful health advice, which she is highly competent at giving! I am really happy with Inner Ecology.
