If you have 4-6 cars ahead of you, you can guarantee a 40-50 minute wait time sitting in line until you get served. Fast food drive thru's take less time to give you your food! So it begs the question: WTF is taking so long to get your prescription! My wife and I are over this and are thinking we wouldn't mind paying a little more for prescriptions if they take this long. Shabnam rang up a prescription after we discussed changing it for the childrens version rather than the adults (prescription for a 5 year old). She had to refund it, told me it had to go back on my card even though I paid with a debit card and it will take several days to return to my account. Then she stated they would start right away to fix it for me and it would be only a few minutes. I waited a half hour before going back up to check, only to find out they hadn't even started it nor did the other staff know what was going on with it. Fully let down by this pharmacy and i'll be switching to a different location after this experience. Do better for your patients!

My husband went to the pharmacy to grab allergy medicine and I got sidetracked by the candy aisle. I ended up getting a variety of different gummy candies including skittles gummies and sweet tart gummies. We also picked up a couple drinks. The staff was friendly and we were able to go through the pharmacy area and the front check out in a quick amount of time. We also found everything we were looking for, plus some.

I used Yelp and found this wonderful locally owned Pharmacy. It's not wedged between the milk and meat department but this is all they do so they know their stuff and they have to be good. It's right next to the hospital and your doctors, you support local businesses, they know your name, they deliver, they compound medicines if you have special needs, and they even deliver. My wife and I go through a lot of meds in a month and this is the best pharmacy I've ever found. If they say they feel uncomfortable filling a prescription as one yelper complained about that's because they're ethical and they care about you. You're not just a corporate number and a dollar. You're a person that they care about very much! Best pharmacy ever, great employees, never understaffed, you don't have to wait and they actually answer their phone! Saira is awesome!

They even put your medications in bubble packs so you don't have to divide them yourself and offer home delivery all for free if you need it. I would never go anywhere else!

The produce section is well stocked, but sell out of certain items if you don't arrive early. Daily they put their deli items and pizzas/ salads on clearance and those go quick! The customer service is always great and the staff is super helpful. The item locked up in shelves you never have to wait forever for someone to come help you unlike other Walmarts. It's definitely not this the bigger Walmarts, but it gets the job done for the things I always need.

Since that first referral I have been regularly getting medicine for one of my pets there, and have even requested another pet's prescriptions be sent over to them. The staff and pharmacists are exactly who you want on your side when you are dealing with the complexities of medicating pets. And what is cool about this pharmacy is that they don't just cater to pets, but they compound for humans AND animals. After my experiences with them, I would definitely request prescriptions for myself, or my family, to be sent to them, too! They have gone above and beyond, to help me get the right type, and quantity, of medication for my pets. And because of that professionalism and care, I will continue to go to them for my guys' compounding needs. For some context: for years, I had tried to use pills for my guys. I'd give them whole pills, placed them in edible pockets, crushed them up, mixed them in with wet food and broths -- it didn't matter. It was ALWAYS a hassle. And while yes compounded medication will cost a little more than buying tablets directly from the vets. Remember: you are paying for a professionally made solution, designed to taste appetizing for your pet (if given orally) or to be easily administered externally (transdermal). The price is nothing compared to avoiding the likelihood of unintentionally traumatizing your pet, and yourself, when you try to do it on your own. Make it easier on them and on you, it is worth paying a little bit now to save everyone on the chaos in the long-term. And if you have a pet that has a chronic condition, you're going to want to make medicine-time as smooth as possible, because it's going to be a regular part of having them in your life. In the end, there is nowhere else I would rather go. If I were to move out of this area, I would still have my guys' medication sent to Professional Village Compounding Pharmacy, they are worth the drive. They are worth your business. If you need something for your pets or your loved ones, or yourself, this is where you want to go.

When my existing doctor recommended a new medication, I immediately called John and asked him about it. However, this "Walmart Neighborhood Market" located in the heart of the Sunrise Marketplace in Citrus Heights is fairly decent as I've actually been able to pick up my standard foods while making my shopping experience a positive one. I don't come to this location often since I live closer to the bigger one on Auburn Blvd. but if I am doing shopping in this area, I will come by to pick up a few things. To those that don't know this, their Neighborhood Market locations are trimmed-down versions of their Supercenters and are dedicated supermarkets that don't offer apparel, electronics, home decor, toys, office supplies, and a pharmacy. They do offer much of what you'd find in a typical grocery store including medicine, cosmetics, pet food, greeting cards, toiletries, and household products. The parking lot is quite spacious as the store itself is close to a "Noodles & Company" as well as a "Cost Plus". Additionally, this location offers a very convenient grocery pickup area (at the rear of the building). Finally, the offer generous hours of operation being opened 7 days a week from 6am-10:30pm and even open on major holidays. As convenient as this location might be, I will say that there are several food items I don't usually purchase here. Most notably the produce can truly be hit or miss as you can find much fresher fruits and veggies at nearby "Sprouts" (at Sunrise/Greenback) and "Trader Joes" (at Sunrise/Madison). I also wanted to point out that the meat/seafood is not of the highest quality. For many people, the food choices here are just fine so it really depends on personal preference. Finally, the overall temperature of this store is downright cold. I think they keep the internal setting at 64°F and when you get to the refrigerated section, it feels like 55°F. The cold doesn't bother me much but to some, it may not be a pleasant shopping experience. All in all, the Citrus Heights "Walmart Neighborhood Market" is average at-best. I've always found the checkout lanes to be fairly quick with a generous amount of self checkout lanes. Their public restroom is located at the rear of the store while the customer service area moves fairly quickly. With that said and done, I am giving this a 3-star rating.

The girl that took a photo of my receipt said she had to see my receipt. why did she take a photo? I don't like people telling me they will help, when they have no intention of helping. I had my receipt. Hey next time say I have better things to do than help you. There are a few options of other food stores. Walmart I buy 80% of my food here. I buy all my pets food and toys here. now it will be less than 25%. I would rather spend more money elsewhere than shop at this Neighborhood Market. It's not about money it's about the principle.
