    ???

Reading the reviews it seems as though this is a common thing where there's nobody working in the customer service desk. I'm currently standing at the customer service desk. I set a 20 minute timer because they sent both of their employees that can only work the customer service apparently to lunch at the same time, which is ridiculous, but we'll see if they actually show up after 20 minutes

Debit card machines don't work. Always gave to swipe 3 times or more. Should get the machines updated.

Customer service desk is always closed. I've been trying to return an item for a week straight and every day they're closed. Ridiculous.

Why do your bags reak of cigarette smoke. Your bags have made not only my car but my whole home stink of cigarettes.

Checkout lanes are now all self-check out (ease for customer experience, sad that means less jobs in our community), and I was out in a flash.

Let me be real with you for a sec.... Walmart's "glow-up" is not it for me…read more I get that maybe they are trying to compete, revamp, rebrand... maybe be a little more Target adjacent, idk.. But these mannequins, not a fan. while the remodeled layout looks modern and clean, I actually hate it. I miss the familiarity. I miss walking in with pajama pants, unbothered and unjudged. Now it feels like I need to brush my hair and wear "real pants" just to grab toothpaste. The vibe? Off. The staff? Meh at best. No one's jumping to help you, but honestly, that seems to be the new standard across most retail these days. So I just pop in my headphones, stay in my own lane, grab what I came for, and dip out. Also don't even get me started on the produce section... it's a hard pass!! If fruits or veggies are on the list, I'm going somewhere else. That section is sad. Will I stop shopping here? No. It's convenient. But that doesn't mean I have to like all these changes

Omg, the customer service lady waited for me to ask if she was open to help me then asked what's this for when I handed her 2 receipts for the 2 obvious batteries in the cart. When she finally completed the sale she wanted me to keep moving the basket around for her instead of her putting it where it goes. Unbelievably rude, and couldn't care less about service. With the prices they had also, I will take my business to Target.

My friend and I visited this past Sunday to do some Christmas shopping and I ended up buying at least 2 or 3 of the items I needed. This location is actually a lot cleaner and more organized than other locations which was nice! It is located off of Marconi Ave in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's and Five Below. They had a ton of wrapping paper and lots of great items for stocking stuffers and White Elephant gifts. I love finding random items that I never knew I needed! I bought around 8 items for under $60 so it was definitely a good deal! Staff were friendly and the check out line moved quickly!

Even if it is a bit of a drive from our house, we do visit every now and then. The store is quite expansive, and quite well lit. Me and my poor eyes don't have to squint to read the fine print or even make use of my glasses. There's the odd item on the floor left behind by uncaring or reckless customers...especially on busy days, so a bit of care should be exercised when walking the aisles. The place does get crowded, especially on the weekends. Parking feels a bit limited, but of course, a public lot is never under the store's control. The price is reasonable. And the staff, if on hand, are very helpful...trying to be cheerful on crowded, busy days. There's a lot to see, so be prepared to spend an hour or more during your visit. Not a bad place to spend your time...and money.

I will say that "Marshalls" has been my go-to store for the past 10+ years as I have always found…read moresome decent items at their vast number of locations. However, based on the cleanliness, selection, and overall customer service, the Rancho Cordova location only earns an average 3-star rating from me. Located at the Zinfandel Plaza and tucked in between Olson Dr/Folsom Blvd in the heart of Rancho Cordova, this particular Marshalls neighbors their main competitor, Ross as well as a Target store amongst many other retailers and eateries. As many of you know, Marshalls specializes in a variety of department store items; mens/womens/kids apparel, home furnishings, bath & body products, luggage, jewelry, purses, bedding, housewares, and quite a bit of food/coffee. I see them as a slightly more affordable option than their sister store TJ Maxx. If your focus is more towards items for the home (excluding clothing), HomeGoods has much of the same items (but in a much larger variety) while all being part of the same ownership. Out of the few times I have been here (which is mainly during the weekends), I've noticed quite an abundance of customers at any given time. However, their store isn't quite the cleanest as I've seen several articles of clothing on the floor, fitting rooms that look messy, and as much as this pains me to say this, lack of customer service. Retail brick-and-mortar stores like this don't staff a lot of employees which leads to more complaints about a business than actual compliments. Finally, for the majority of their merchandise being new "name-brand" items, there is only a small handful of brands I am familiar with; mostly Calvin Klein, Nike, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. As of 2025, you can get a complete outfit for under $50 which is a nice shirt/sweater, pants/shorts, flip flops/shoes as well as a pack of tees and socks. I am very happy with their towels, bedding, and bathroom items as their quality holds up quite well. All in all, "Marshalls" is a decent place to save a few bucks but nothing special. Therefore, I am rating their (one and only) Rancho Cordova an average 3-stars.
