This is probably one of my Favorite neighborhood markets shockingly for a Walmart, lol! The store is always clean and well organized. The produce section is well stocked, but sell out of certain items if you don't arrive early. Daily they put their deli items and pizzas/ salads on clearance and those go quick! The customer service is always great and the staff is super helpful. The item locked up in shelves you never have to wait forever for someone to come help you unlike other Walmarts. It's definitely not this the bigger Walmarts, but it gets the job done for the things I always need. read more

I go to this Walmart when I am short on time and need a blow to my self esteem. They have expanded the store and services CONTINUE to decline. I don't know if it is bad management or deliberate. I like this quick in and out lil market! I was able to run in and out just didn't have a cart. They are to the left when you walk in through the right. Reading the reviews it seems as though this is a common thing where there's nobody working in the customer service desk. I'm currently standing at the customer service desk. This is for the pharmacy Every. Single. Time I've had to pick up medication from this pharmacy I have problems. I've called in days earlier and ask when I can pick up a medication and been told you can pick it up on this day. I go in on that day and they say you aren't eligible to pick it up until the next day. I called you two days prior to get the day! Waste of gas money to go down there. The main pharmacist, Hong, is great. She knows what she's doing and I'm assuming that's why she's the manager of the whole pharmacy. The other pharmacists, Cynthia and Tran really need to work on their professionalism. Cynthia, the last time I was in and said I always have problems here, suggested that maybe I should find a new pharmacy?? That was the best advice I can follow. I rushed to get to this store before it closes at 11pm. My son and I got there with 6 minutes to spare and the girl at the door said they were closed and we were not allowed in. I told her it's not 11pm yet, it's 10:54pm and she didn't care. We only wanted one item. We would have been out before 11pm. This store and any other store that does this needs to change the hours on their website to state that they close earlier than they are supposed to so that people don't waste their time going. I don't want to discredit any customer service because I've always had a great customer service experience. However, I went in today and purchased a bundle of firewood. I noticed online it was one price and in store was a higher price. I asked the lady if they can price match and she said unfortunately no however she did bring a manager over. The manager wearing black lipstick confirmed they are not allowed to price match however the skater looking employee said yes, we can. This store is a mouse maze. They narrowed isles so that only one cart can go through each at a time. So if 2 people go in from opposite sides, one has to back out. This is messed up and pretty dystopian & now feels like a cold corporate warehouse that does not care about customers comfort. Every time I go into this store I find expired food items. I found stuff from 2023, in 2025. I just bought butterscotch and caramel topping for ice cream they expired in 2024. My allergies were bothering me I thought I saw date corrected I was wrong. Try to return but couldn't because my receipt got wet from ice cream and I throw it out I pay cash. Employees wouldn't let me exchange because I pay cash and no receipt. I can't wait because this store getting remodeled. I'm going to go in and look to see how many expired food items I can find. Poor customer service most of the time. The last time I was there I got chastised for clicking the button for customer assistance for a product behind glass more than once. My lovely little neighborhood Walmart. Not too small not too big. Needed to pick up a few items and started to order curbside since I'm dealing with an unexpected, recent, leg injury. Decided against it and said I'll take on the store, just needed a few things generically in the same area of the store. My trip quickly determined to be a bit more challenging so instead of trying to be a cowgirl I asked for help. Rochelle was working the produce section and located the price on the broccoli for me. Hated to bug Rochelle again but asked for a couple product locations and she swiftly replied and I was on my way. The good things about this location it has a lot of items I can't find at my normal store I shop at. For example yoplait yogurt this store has the Fall pumpkin or Girl Scout flavors where my other two stores haven't offered in the past few months I have seen here. The staff seems pretty friendly. Store is clean. A few things I don't like is that this store only has one door for entrance and exit combined. So only one person with a cart can go in or out. And they need to look at their fruit more often, have seen a lot of rotten apples, strawberries to name a few. read more

This is the worst Walmart in the sacramento area. The guards at the door are such a creepy threatening presence. They don't have healthy shopping options for their groceries and what they do have is always poorly stocked. The store is an absolute mess and the only employees around are constantly restocking. This company makes billions and can't even provide proper staff or pay their employees a living wage. It's pathetic. read more

We started shopping here when we moved to Carmichael last year and I like shopping here, I come weekly it's the only place I will shop at now! it's convenient and they have fresh produce and they have everything I need to get my shopping trip done. Firstly I would recommend buying their Walmart brand items to get the best deal, especially their Parent's Choice diapers and sensitive wipes, they work great for my little one and she rarely gets diaper rashes, compared to other name brand diapers. A definite plus and don't forget the cute kangaroo or hot air ballon elephant designs on them, too cute to pass up! Their name brand combination pizza is soo good and I like how it's not pre-sliced so I can choose the size I want my slices to be, their name brand thick and creamy mac n cheese mm soo good and also they have delicious apples you can get a great deal on in a bag and a great price on packaged meats. Not to mention they have vanilla It's-Its, my favorite ice cream that is actually hard to find in a 12pk at other grocery stores, so thumbs up to that! Lastly I discovered Herdez mild salsa here, my favorite salsa now, I recommend to friends and family! 1 minis star for the guy who comes to the parking lot sometimes yelling who wants Tamales from his car, lol a bit weird, but I mean at least he's not hurting anyone. When the Girl Scouts came out to sell cookies last year of course we had to get a box of Caramel delites mm, back in the day we called them Samoas. My son and I both like drinking Powerade the bottles were smaller than we are use too. But they tasted old... I haven't experience this old food from regular Walmarts quite the opposite. The store is convenient and some of the staff is super friendly but not really too happy with the pharmacy here. One month I'll go in and have no copay for a prescription the next month it's $1.60 following month no copay. Last month no copay this month they charged me $4 . Lady with all the nightmare before Christmas pins on her vest tried to close the store at 10:49. I only needed two things that I am very capable of getting before even 10:56. In fact even after arguing with her to let me in and her letting me in at 10:51, I left at 10:56. PLEASE TRAIN EMPLOYEES HOW TO BAG GROCERIES The young man Yousif not only has terrible customer service that needs immediate attention, the poor guy does not know how to bag groceries. Common sense is to not bag a shitload of canned foods AND vegetables together. Especially when the person is of a seasoned age (65 and up). Brought my older friend in to help her get some shopping done and to figure out why her bags ripped on her the last time she come from Walmart. We both had separate baskets And she checked out just before me. I watched him put her canned food with her vegetables. Gosh was it hard to not butt in and bag her groceries for her. I asked Yousif to speak with the manager after Yousif asked if I'd like to put a heavy 4 liter glass beverage into a plastic bag. This Walmart is average. I come here a lot cause it's the closet to my house. They only seem to have one regular check out line and then the self checkout are all open. It doesnt help when you have a long line at self check out. That gets a bit frustrating. But I noticed they started to scan receipts too. As I was leaving, I was ahead of the cart and my husband was pushing. The lady at the door scanned the receipt and then proceeded to look into my purse. Granted my purse was in the cart and it was open, but she had no business looking in my purse and even touching it. She said she seen a tag and needed to scan it.
