This included pruning, weeding, planting shrubs, mulching, planting grass in some bare areas, and repairing a block wall around a bed. Their work was meticulous! As an example, after mulching, they manually separated and dusted the landscaping blocks around the beds. The shaping of all my boxwood shrubs was exceptional. My neighbors immediately commented on how great everything looks and what a stand-out job was done. Throughout the process, communication was excellent. The owners stopped out also. The damaged tree is hanging by a thread, and it can kill someone if it falls. They came out and did an estimate on the wrong tree (the neighbor's tree that was already on the ground). Errors happen, as we are all human. I quickly called and emailed them, asking them to please correct their error. They claimed that I had said something about "a tree on the ground" in my initial discussion. This was not the case. They did not reply for an entire week, until finally sending me an email saying that the "schedule is full for the season" and they won't be able to do this work. So, they gave an estimate, but when they realized they made an error, they no longer wanted the job. Not a great look. I'm very frustrated, as I was hoping to establish a longterm business relationship with them for landscaping services. Bummer. Don't bother calling them.

When I inquired as to why they sent out an estimator and a contract but did not intend to complete the job, this was the response :" The decision was made after evaluating the project and determining that it was a bit small scale for our team." So unless you need a complete rehaul of your outdoor space, I would not waste your time, and apparently, theirs, by contacting this group. Ours didn't seem to know much about hardscaping, even less about masonry. They produced a decent landscape design, but the price was $1600! There are a plethora of local landscape architects that will create a plan for half that amount. We got out at $1600. Having met with three other design build companies, I realize that PG pricing is about double the going rate. The PG would have charged $78K for a full landscape; other local companies are coming in at $40-$50K.
